I need to connect an Ipad mini 2 via the lightning to usb camera connection kit to an audio interface that do not charge the Ipad. Is there a way to connect both devices to a powered usb hub that can charge the Ipad while working on it. The Audio Interface does not need to be charged...

I have experienced no dramas, and neither have any of the customers ive sold 12W chargers too. I say its absolutely fine, but if you wish not to, you can charge it via usb to the computer. If bought directly from an Apple Retail store or Apple Online store, and is still within the 14 day return period Apple Offers you can take it back and get a full refund which you can then use towards buying the other version.
If its already past the 14 day period then you won't be able to return it for a refund no.
If you did not buy it from an Apple Retail store or Apple Online Store you will have to consult with the store you bought it from about their return policies.

I recently bought an Ipad mini with Retina in US and I want it to use it in India. I got the 10w Power adapter which can be used only in US, for India it would be different. Where can I get an adapter for the same? Do I need to charge it only using laptop?

You only need a US to India plug adapter for the charger, it should then work with it - an iPad's charger is rated for 100 to 240V (my UK charger has that written on it), so it will work in India

Okay... I've just found the solution. It's really simple, just plug the phone to the MacBook, fire up iTunes, check the "Sync Photos from iPhoto" option, make sure all the other options are not checked, and just sync. Voila! my iPhoto library is now in the palm of my hand.

IPad Mini with Retina Display

I bought a new iPad Mini with Retina Display and the only charger that seems to work is the one it came with. Any other lightning chargers I have bought (including a 30 pin to 8 pin connector) won't charge. Not only is it annoying to have a 3ft cable to charge, but it's annoying to have only one cord.
Does anyone know why the other chargers won't work?

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

It sounds like you are trying to use bluetooth? You don't pair IPads with computers with bluetooth. Bluetooth is for connecting th iPad to other devices.
The connection with the computer all happens through iTunes, either using wifi or USB. I suggest USB initially.
Install iTunes, plug it in and follow the instructions, or read up some more first.

1. I use Rufus_v1.2.0 create usb boot with file iso. Insert USB to Mac, i startup my Mac mini...screen display gray color with icon folder change 'icon mac os and icon question (?)'.I think Mac mini unknown OS on hard disk (because new hard disk).
2. Don't first boot from USB flash (another devices, i can set up 'boot property' on bios, or press any key to load menu boot). On Mac mini, i don't known(i search internet i try press key 'c', but not run)

Will an Apple Iphone 3g charge from a Powered USB Hub while the computer is sleeping?
I have a Motorola SLVR L7, two BCK-08 Bluetooth Stereo Headsets and two iPower Secondary iPhone batteries that all charge from my Powered USB Hub while my main computer is sleeping.
It would seem that my iPhone 3g will not charge from a Powered USB Hub while the computer attached to it is sleeping?
Is there any way to get an Iphone 3g to charge from a PoWeReD UsB HuB while the computer it is attached to is sleeping?
I'm thinking in terms of greening things ... but this is making me leave a 170 Watt computer running while I sleep ... I don't use the computer much while asleep ...

In linux you can get a lot of USB information by typing "+lsusb -v+"

In windows under details it lists the parent ID (port above) so if you found the USB port the iPhone was connected to ... you could find the hardware and vendor id or name of the hub it was plugged in to ...
I'm thinking it might be easier and more positive to start a thread requesting that anyone who has an iPhone that will charge from their computer through a USB Hub while that computer is sleeping ... but I don't know if I can start a thread with a title that long ...

Plug your device into the original charger & block in a wall outlet and leave it alone for a couple of hours. Then, while it is still plugged in, restart it by holding down the home button and the power button for 10-15 seconds until you see the Apple, then let go.

IPad Mini with retina display acting funny

My iPad Mini with retina display's screen is acting funny. It isn't cracked, but the bottom half keeps flickering and has green line running through it. It also has a bit of a milky color to it, and you can see small, individual white lines. Would I be able to get my screen replaced? If so, how much would it cost?

I was trying to get some purchased apps onto my new ipad mini with retina display. Problem, I can't seem to download everything so I want to start over. How can I restart or reload my iPad mini?

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.
3. Repeat the process if necessary.
