Charging iPhone after 100%

Hey guys,
Im going to buy this device and wanted to ask a couple of questions:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Station-Charger-Docking-Cradle-Charging-Data-Sync-Dock-S tand-Holder-For-iPhone-6-/201179347106?pt=AU_MobilePhoneAccessories&var=&hash=i t em2ed73938a2
Questions:
1 - Is it "bad" letting my iPhone stay on this device for several hours even after 100%?
2 - If ill plug my charger into this device, and then put my iPhone on the device, will the iPhone alert me that it is non-original cable?
3 - Do you think that this device is also compatible for my 5 / 5S ? (I couldnt contact the seller)
Thx ahead for help,
have a great day
Amit

"I don't want to overcharge the battery, my question is if I forget to finish the charging of iphone after 100%, this make trouble for battery life?"
Again, No.
"This cellphone automatically stop the charging to prevent damages to battery? "
Again, you cannot overcharge the battery.  The iphone cannot be overcharged.  You can leave it plugged in as long as you like.

How can I get my computer to recognize the iphone again?
I find it quite ridicolous that i get asked the question everytime i put my computer into the usb port, I was bound to misclick at one point or another.  So now I help getting my computer to recognize the phone again.

OK so here is where we stand, IOS7 "trust computer" has stopped:- routers:- Zoom 4504, Edimax 3G, TP-Link TL-MR3420 and ASUS DSL-N12U a Car Iphone connection and a MACBOOK! all now can  no longer connect.
I tried using a multipoint USB port, no joy.
I can not see Apple doing anything about it as it is only the three of us here having problems....or so it seems.
I would like to thank Novatech for letting me buy and return the last 2 routers on the "not working for IOS7 anymore list"
"trust this computer" if you have any problems with it please post here.

Ok Fellas, let me give you a clue:  Games, particularly those that make heavy use of graphics and sound are notoriously power hungry.  In fact, when I was in the Navy many years ago, the folks working on the NTDS (Navy Tactical Data System)  computers used a version of Space Invaders to load test the AN/UYK-43 computers.
I have also noticed that all of my laptops (I have a brand new Toshiba dual core, an older Toshiba single core, plus 2 Dell dual core machines) have significantly shorter battery life when I play Company of Heroes than when I am just reading e-mail or surfing the 'Net.  I have also noticed the same behavior when I play games on my 4th gen Touch and my iPhone 4.
The fact is, iOS 5 did make some major improvements as well as adding some nice functionality like iMessage, wireless synch, and such, but the down side is that depending on how you use the device battery life can be shorter that what you may have experienced with pervious versions of iOS.  Its just the nature of the beast...
We now return you to our regularly scheduled programming.....

  • HT6154 Hello my iPhone 5 keeps going dead fast after 100 % charged.

Hello my iPhone 5 keeps going dead fast after 100 % charged.

I did that, and the issue persisted.  I'm several hours from an Apple store, and I can't be without a phone for that long.  Not to mention they want $269 to fix it, and I only paid $399 for it.

  • After charging iphone it keeps the charging symbol

    Hello guys,
With my Iphone 4S I have this strange "problem" , after the update to IOS 7.1 it appeared.
When I charge the Iphone to 100% and I disconnet the cable (original apple) it keeps saysing that it is being charged, (the charging symbol is there) and after a few hours the battery percentage drops with 30% and then finally the charging symbol goes away..
This is what I tried already.
    - Full restore
    - Hard reset
    - Battery drain and fully charging
    - Other cable
So yes, I need your help to fix this or to come up with some ideas that I can try..
    Thank you in advance.

Long shot but try cleaning your iPhone's connector.
Else, restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue.

  • My iPhone 5s with iOS 7.1 become very hot when charged almost reach 100% and will shut down itself.

My iPhone 5s with iOS 7.1 become very hot when charged almost reach 100 % and will shut down itself. Then I need to off the power and let it cool down first before I can on the phone back. Please help me to solve this problem. Thanks.

    Hi Limfromsi,
It is normal to an extent for the iPhone to get warm during charging. If your iPhone is currently in a case, you may want to try charging it without one and see if the issue occurs, as the design of the iPhone uses the exterior of the device as a cooling surface. • After upgrade to IOS 5 I can no longer charge iPhone 4 in car.

I upgraded my iPhone 4 to IOS 5 last night and now when I try to use my car charger it doesnt work.   Everything was working fine prior to upgrade and I have tried to reboot iPhone with no behavior changes.  It will charge using the USB charger connected to my iMac.

I dont beleive its an iOS 5 Issue - i think its hardware...
Simply because i have been running iOS 5 beta's since june and there were no issues with my iPhone 4.
When i installed the GM on my iphone 4 (which is the same build as the public release) there were no issues with charging in my vehicle.
Now, charging my iPhone 4S in my car is practically impossible.
when i plug mine in, it will display the "Plugged" symbol on the battery display but not actually charge. the battery will still decrease.
then it will randomly "disconnect" and not register that it is plugged in. then appear to be plugged in, then not, then plugged in, then not.
This will repeat over and over again without actually charging and the charger being in the socket throughout.
however yesterday i left it plugged in and my battery was 9% and after the strange plugged-in behaviour i noticed it was charging normally after about 20 mins in the car.
But when i did the same journey time today, the battery wouldnt register at all.... charging has only been successful ONCE since 14th October on the iPhone 4s
No idea whats up with it...
    anybody else?

  • I forgot my ipad on charge after 100%,is this bad for ipad battery?

I forgot my ipad on charge after 100%,is this bad for ipad battery?

Once the battery was fully charged, the smart circuitry stops charging the battery.  Power is then used just for running the device, and the charging circuits will not cut back in until the battery has spontaneously drifted down by 5%-10% of a full charge (which should take days with a normal, healthy battery).
You cannot over charge any Apple device.

  • Still awaiting bill credit for iphone 5c "free after $100 bill credit" promo 3/1/14-3/3/14

upgraded to iphone 5c on 3/1/14, special offer for that weekend was "free after $100 bill credit" (purchase price was $99.99).  have not recvd the $100 credit yet.

I have been going back and forth with them. They do not like giving big credits so they keep saying it will be on the next bill and the next bill etc. I even had a rep text me the details of the promotion telling me I would get it last week. Every rep I speak with tells me I am not eligible, puts me on repeated holds, then I have to tell them the exact name of the promo to look up in their system. Thank god I know the exact name. Here is the screenshot I took.
I any of you have any luck with this let me know.

  • HT4060 ipad 4 - Should i keep charging after 100% ?

Should i keep my ipad 4 plug in even after 100%, just the way i do for laptop? As i charge my ipad twice daily from 40%, as my heavy usage is mainly on games that i play through wifi daily. and some streaming on it through my desktop pc.
right now i dont charge after 100% at all, but would it be alright and not damage my battery life!
And how long will my ipad 4 battery life will last and how to confirm how many cycle is left?

It will not damage the battery. The battery does not charge further at 100%

  • My Iphone still won't charge even after I had tried plugging it in and waiting then restarting it, it still showed up on the screen that it has to be charged, even when it was in the USB port. Help please

My Iphone still won't charge even after I had tried plugging it in and waiting then restarting it, it still showed up on the screen that it has to be charged, even when it was in the USB port. I tried plugging it into the wall, a computer, I even switched out the USB cables but it still wouldn't charge. Help me please

    Hello Isabellap,
It sounds like your iPhone 4S is not charging when plugged in.  I found an article with some steps that might help with this.  I recommend reviewing the steps in the sections titled "Battery does not charge from the USB power adapter" and "Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off" in the following article:

  • How to charge iphone 5 correctly

    Hi everyone,
So Apple says to do a full cycle charge once a month (charge iphone from 0% to 100% and then do a reset) right?!
But during everyday use should I charge the phone for bit during the day? Or just charge every night before going to bed?
When the 20% alert shows you must charge the iphone to avoid a complete cycle charge?
    Any suggestions?
    Thank you

The purpose of the full cycle charge is to recalibrate the battery gauge. Lithium chemistry batteries are notoriously hard to manage, because their voltage does not drop linearly with state of charge, as most other secondary cells do. So the battery gauge monitors battery charge going in and battery drain going out, and computes the remaining life from this. But the battery's capacity drops with age, and the calculation isn't perfect. So after a while the gauge no longer knows what the state of charge actually is. The most obvious symptom of this is when the phone suddenly shuts off well above 1% remaining. When you run the battery all the way down, then charge fully, the charging circuit in the phone can re-establish the end points.
Anyway, the answer to your question is charge it whenever you want, except that you should periodically run it all the way down, then fully charge it (once a month, as Apple suggests). But not every day. According to Apple this does not affect the total lifetime of the battery.
Oh, one other point. The iPhone will not let you deep discharge the battery. When it shuts off at 1% there is still significant charge left. It's unusable charge, except to keep iOS alive. If you fly a plane there are 2 numbers you need to know - total fuel capacity, and useable fuel capacity, which is always lower. Same with Lithium batteries in electronics.
