Charging process is different in PC USB or adapter USB?

My ipod is charged for 97%.
If I connect it to my net adapter USB charger, it jumps to 100% instantly.
When I disconnect it, I get 97% again.
If I connect it to my PC USB port, it jumps to 95% instantly.
When I disconnect it, it jumps back to 97%.
I repeated this test 4 times, and it always shows 100% on net adapter, and 95% on my PC USB port..
Does my iPod know the difference between both?
(iPod Touch 4G)

You should always eject the iPod before diconnecting.  However, if the iPod is not doing something with the cmputer (nothing is showing in the progress bar) then you can safely disconnect the iPod.  If the event of the iTunes freezing, you can exit iTunes and then disconnect.  However, sometimes the iPod will not work and you will have to place the iP{od in recovery mode and restore the iPod via iTunes.

Hi, I HATE to ask for help with this, but I HAVE looked everywhere and Google searched different wordings and have not found anything similar nor a solution to my problem!                                                                                                                                                                                                                               My good old iPod 4th-gen charges just fine in any wall outlet, in any house, but when I connect it to my brand new ASUS laptop that has Windows-8 and 3.0 USB ports using the charging/data cable, the charging process just keeps "blinking" BOTH the iPod and the laptop and it will not connect to ITunes and I get "A Device is Detected" message that keeps popping up and going away over and over right above the Windows desktop toolbar.                                                               When I go to control panel and select "Devices" it does show the iPod, but for only a split second and than it disappears, but than it comes back again for a split second and than it disappears again and just keeps doing that over and over and over!                                                                                                                  I have tried resetting the iPod while it is plugged into the laptop by holding the power and menu buttons, that did no good.                                                             I also tried uninstalling iTunes and any other Apple stuff listed and reinstalling it all, that did NOT work!                                                                                          The iPod, the laptop and iTunes ARE all fully updated!                                                                                                                                                                I AM using a brand new charging/data cable that I just opened up an hour ago (I've learned to keep a few brand new ones around at all times since these piece of garbage rip-off cables hardly last a week, even when you baby them!). • Sales order charge to several different GL account instead of to customer

    Hi Guru,
We have a process that need to create a sales order and charge to three different GL account instead of charging to a customer.
    The following details the situation:
    In regular sales order:
    Debit customer  $1000
    Credit Sales $1000
In this business process,  we need to
Debit (to GL accounts instead of customer but split as follows)
    GL 1234  $500
    GL 4567  $300
    GL 7890  $200
    Credit
    GL 6688  $500
    GL 8989  $300
    GL 5231  $200
We set up the system to use the cash sales process so that instead of debiting to a customer account,  it is debiting to a GL account.  However,  SAP sums up the debit to $1000 and is posted to the first GL account.
Is there a way that we can split the debit??

    Hi
I came to this kind of process in construction industry with some other SAP ERP
there i managed to enter debit line items in the documents
Please check wether this is possible in R/3

  • Free of Charge Process in CIN Version

    Hello CIN gurus
My CIN experience is little rusted. I  have a question around Free of charge process CIN specific.
When I use item category YANN (copy of TANN) and the Pricing field is blank the table J_1iexcdtl is not updated with the BED . However if it is flagged as "B" the BED is updated in the table.
I am not convinced that this is the solution as we have the free goods functionality for other countries and it would impact those processes.
Any idea how I can achieve this requirement in CIN without the flag"B"?.
    Thanks a lot
    Sunny

    Hi,
As per my openion don't use the TANN item categeory. Define new pricing procedure there please keep price statistical and use  R100 condition type with G/L assignment (expenditure).
    Hope you got Idea.
    Thanks

  • How to map back charge process

    Hello friends,
I need help to map below scenario in SAP:
We have third party business process, where vendor V1 is supplying material to customer. When customer receives material; V1 invoices us and we make payments to V1.At this point PO is closed for vendor V1.
Now if customer faces any problem with material, then we call local vendor V2 to repair or service the material. What ever charges come from local vendor is suppose to reimburse by vendor V1.
Now how can we link V2 vendor invoice amount to V1 invoice. What will be the document flow? How to map back charge process .
    Note:
We have considered adding negative line items to the existing PO but understand this is not possible once payment has been issued and the PO is closed.
We have considered creating a u201Creverse sales orderu201D but do not want to create a separate order or handle the vendor under a separate sold-to account (as a customer)
We have considered a manual FI invoice but do not want to handle the vendor under a separate sold-to account (as a customer)
    Seeking valuable inputs from experts.
    Regards
    Ravi

    Hi Raghavendra
Yes V2 exist in SAP, right now we create new purchase order to V2 for services for material at customer location, after his service we do payment to V2 and same amount is charged to V1.
While charging V1 , we need to treat V1 as a customer( sold to party ) , which we donu2019t want , and direct clearing from FI is also not fusible as we again need to treat V1 as customer ( sold to party ) .
Our requirement is to map using some credit memo or debit memo or any other documents.
    regards
    Ravi

  • IPad Not Charging w/ 10 watt non-Apple USB charger

Yes, I've read that the iPad requires a 10 watt charger.  I have the original iPad 10W USB charger, and also a high quality 10W USB charger that came with my HP TouchPad. When using the TouchPad charger - which is rated for 5V @ 2A (10W) the iPad says "Not Charging."
Why is that?  The TouchPad charger works perfectly with every other USB-powered device I own: hard drives, cameras, phones, TouchPad, etc. The cable works fine with the Apple OEM iPad charger; but stops working when connected to the non-Apple-OEM 10 watt charger.  Does the OEM charger send a signal  that tells the iPad to charge?  Dell power adapters do this (annoyingly).  Does Apple do it too?  I haven't seen any disclosure of such signals from Apple.
Why does the iPad fail to charge when presented with the proper voltage and current specs?  Does the iPad require only Apple-branded chargers?

Bsanders, I've had the EXACT same experience you describe using as you note a very high quality HP Touchpad 10W, 5V USB charger, whether I use the Apple or a 3rd party cable.  Despite what Nathan says, I have also had the same experience ("Not Charging" message) using other 3rd party, same voltage if lower wattage, USB chargers that Nathan suggests should work.  Only my Apple charger will work and give a prompt charge and there is no specification reason the 10W HP USB charger shouldn't.  I am not cutting a cost corner here, rather, I prefer the HP charger design as superior (smaller, same power, smaller interchangeable/twist-on international supply prongs, packs better, black color).  I strongly suspect there IS some type of proprietary signal or cabling involved to push users to Apple chargers only.  I would ask Nathan to dig a bit deeper for an explanation or workaround.   Thanks

  • Wall adapter not indicating charging process

My wall adapter of iPhone 3G "works" very strange: when I connect it to iPhone nothing happens. No bolt on battery in status bar. Lock screen shows just a background, no battery indication. And battery level does not change until I disconnect wall adapter from iPhone! After few secs charge icon in status bar changes to 100%! I tried only big charge timess so iPhone could fully charge.
So I just feel very uncomfortable of not knowing if charge process has began or I forgot to connect one of the wires

When you plug in to charge, the battery indicator should appear on the screen and the icon in the upper right of the battery will have a lightning bolt on it to indicate charging.

  • I have an old iMac and am thinking about getting an iMac intel do I need a different kind of usb and firewire cord?

I have an old iMac and am thinking of getting an iMac intel. Do I need a different type of usb and firewire cords to work with the new one?

What type of Firewire cable do you have?
If our not sure then first look up your computer with the serial number here,
    http://support.apple.com/specs/
Then take a look at the specs for the new iMac here and see if you have compatible cable,

  • HT4060 Can I use the power cord (30-pin and USB) that came with iPad 2 to charge it in my car's USB port?

Can I use the power cord (30-pin and USB) that came with iPad 2 to charge it in my car's USB port?  Or do I need to purchase one of those cigarette lighter charging devices?  Thanks!

You'd have to read your car manual but chances are it won't put out enough power for the iPad. The car is likely set up to charge a phone, most of which typically want half the power an iPad wants.
I think your  options are to get a cigarette lighter looking charger, making sure it's powerful enough for an iPad...or you can get power inverters for about $25, where they plug into the cigarette lighter/power point and have a normal household type outlet on the other end. Then you'd just plug your charger  in like you would at home.
Another option would be to look for something like a Zagg Sparq, which is a battery operated charger...plug the Sparq into the outlet at home. Its battery holds a charge and you can use that to charge your device. (zagg isn't the only manufacturer of such a device, Targus has one as well). Just look for portable chargers.
The key to remember is to make sure it's rated for an iPad, which will want more power than a cell phone.

  • HT1476 Can i use wall power charger 5v 1A to charge Ipod touch5 or only via usb?

Can i use wall power charger 5v 1A to charge Ipod touch5 or only via usb?

5volt 1amp charger is standard for charging the iPod (5watts). Using a USB port can take longer because the charging current can be somewhat less than 1amp. So you are better off using the wall charger.

  • Charging iPhone 4s in Italy via USB

We are travelling to Italy next month. I have an adapter with a dual USB charger. Can we charge an iPhone 4s using the USB ports on the adapter? I am concerned about the voltage. I understand that the Apple A/C charger with an adapter for Italy is fine but what about charging via USB?

No. You need to use the adaptor that came with your phone. Most third-party chargers don't supply sufficient power to charge the phone's battery. That is why a separate charger is provided with the phone. You will need a wall outlet plug adaptor, however.
