I need to charge my Nkia E50 from computer when i am using pc suite. i need solution for this problem if any one can have the solution please suggese me.

N97 charging through usb cable in-car

using the nokia usb cable to charge the phone when connected to pc works fine. no problems at all. decided to use the same cable to charge whilst in the car, through a 3 way splitter which has a 5v usb port. nothing. no charging took place. I can get a charge for my DS using it's cable in the usb port, but not the nokia. What am I missing? is it that the nokia demands more juice to get a charge going, or what? I'm confused. GPRS internet through data cable, help!!

i have a nokia 3120, searched everywhere but coudn't find the modem drivers for 3120.
some people say it can be used as a modem and you can surf on your pc & some say you can't.
now i'm planning to buy 3220, any experienced mate here can confirm if it will work on 3220 or if anybody can find 3120 drivers for me will be very appericated.
& will 3220 work with duk-5 or wili ave to buy another cable.

In other words, the table says that for the 3120 there is no support for the "One Touch Access = Connect to the Internet" feature.
In all likelihood, it isn't due to PC Suite, but due to something missing on the 3120 that would be required for the feature to work.

Can anyone recommend an external storage device to supplement my mac book air? I already have a time capsule but want the new device to replicate the data on that so ideally would like a device that i can connect to the time capsule through a cable.

I'm not sure how Time Capsule can be replicated onto your external drive but there is a USB port on the back of TC that can be hooked up to any recent external drive.
Another thing to think about , besides a Time Capsule failure, is the theft of your Time Capsule, so it might be a good idea to consider separating any redundant back-up from your Time Capsule or both my be stolen.
TC will back up until full and then begin deleting the oldest back-ups. Mine is a 2TB Time capsule.
My back-up plan is as follows:
1. Macbook Air back-up on Time Capsule though Time Machine backs up everything - I think it's about every 30 min or so.
2. Contacts, reminders, appointments, notes, email are backed up through iCloud.
3. iTunes and non-itunes purchased music is on iMatch (and no need to back-up) and any non-iTunes music is backed up on an HP external drive (in case Time Capsule dies)
4. Photos are on my MacBook Air and are backed up on my HP external drive.
5. Office documents (Excel, Powerpoint, Access etc) are stored in a Skydrive app (like iCloud) and Skydrive syncs these docuemnts with the MS cloud and my old PC and does not alter their native format like storing in iCloud would do.

Why won't the data cable charge my iPad when connected to pc

For some reason when I connect my iPad to my pc with the supplied data cable it won't charge the iPad. It syncs ok but just won't charge it.
Is there a reason for this or do I need to get a different cable?
When I connect my iPhone to the pc with data cable from iPad, it charges my iPhone.
I just really need to know why it therefore won't charge my iPad.
The only way I can charge iPad up at the moment is by connecting it to the mains plug with data cable supplied

On another note, I consistently have a problem charging my iPads with any cable other than the short cable
supplied by Apple. I have purchased over a half dozen ten foot cables and they will charge my iPod and iPhone just fine. I have tried exchanging the cables, the chargers and the iPads. With every charger I reach the same result, I cannot find a ten foot cable that will charge my iPad. I could probably go to Apple and buy a cable from them, but they are SO expensive.
Suggestions? What, other than length, is the difference between the short cables that come with the device and the longer cables I keep getting from eBay?

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

I have read that usb hubs usually have only 1 port at a high enough watts = volts x amps iPads need 10watt = 5v x 2 amps so when you use more devices it may share the power so I would buy a usb charger with 2+ amp ports if you want to just charge your devices the computer hub are not designed for that just communication

Yes it is. Just use the usb cable supplied with the phone and connect it to a usb port that supports charging.

Does the data cable can charge an e61i ?

I've completly destroyed the hole of my e61i where you connect your charger and I dont wanna change of mobile now.
If I buy the data cable ,connect it to the computer and my mobile , does the mobile will charge ? ( and can i transfer data at the same time ? )

J'ai completement explosé la connectique ronde (l'orifice (faut de pouvoir écrire T-R-O-U) où l'on branche le chargeur ) de mon e61i, je ne peux donc plus le charger ce qui est plutot embetant et je n'ai aps trop envie de changer de portable maintenant...

Unfortunately not. Your E61 can only be charged using the charging port.
You should be able to get the charging block replaced at your local Nokia Care Point.

USB Data Cable & Fixed Car Charger for Audi

Why didn't you great engineers create an USB data cable for E50 that charges while connected to the computer? Not that hard to make...
And why do have a charger for E60, but not for E50, that goes for a fixed mobile phone connection in Audi A4 -03.

I did a software upgrade today and got a failed error Now all I get is picture of a data cable with the red Itunes logo. Restores and updates all fail now

I tried to update my iPhone 6 to the newest version today. I got a message that the update failed. I now only see a picture of the data cable and the red iTunes picture. All updates and restores fail.

I had a similar problem with one of my phones yesterday. It went I to recovery mode. I could not get it to complete the restoration process. I had to restart my computer in order to complete the restoration through iTunes. I don't know if that will help but it is worth a try. Good luck.
