When I connect PB with my PC through data cable it dont charge the device. any help pls.

OK - have you tried using a different USB port on your computer or on another computer? You don't need to install the software to make it charge up.

It's no different from the iPad 1 in that regard. When connected to a computer via USB it should charge when sleeping only. Hit the sleep button and leave it for a while to see if that works. It's much slower charging that way than using the actual charger.
Not all USB's are powered, or powered enough, so what the previous poster said could also be the case.

Beacause the USB port of most computers don't supply sufficient current to properly charge it. It is best to charge it using the supplied power supply.

If you mean that you've connected it to a computer's USB port then a lot of computers don't provide enough power to their USB ports to charge the iPad at a sufficient rate - it may still be charging slowly, and should be a bit quicker if the iPad's screen is off (if you leave it for a while and then disconnect it from your computer you may find that it's battery percentage has gone up). The wall charger is usually the most efficient way to charge the iPad.

First off, I suggest using the charger that came with the iPad and plug that into a good wall outlet. USB ports often do not supply enough power for efficient charging on an iPad.

Zen Micro charge while connected to USB?

It seems that after i hook up my Zen Micro to the computer to upload songs and stuff, that all three bars on the battery icon are full. Does the player charge WHILE it is connected to the USB, or is the battery icon just messing around with me?

The next time you connect your iPad to your laptop, click on your iPad under Devices and then click on the Apps tab on top. Once it opens and lists all your apps in iTunes on the left (both iPad and iPhone ), simply uncheck the boxes next to the iPhone apps you wish to leave off from future syncs. I just bought the iPhone and when the battery is very low, it won't charge on my computer and it won't even open up iTunes automatically when I connect it. The batter icon doesn't show as well. It does charge when I connect it to the wall outlet and it will charge on my computer if it is about 1/3 or more full. I connect it to my computer and wait to see if anything happens, but it doesn't. I tried turning it off, and resetting it, but still nothing.

I've been having a similar issue for several months now. There are several other threads here dealing with this topic and I've tried all the solutions suggested. All work some of the time. None work all the time. These include:
• changing charging device (ie, using wall charger instead of USB port, or vice versa)
• power cycling the phone
• doing a reset on the phone
The issue is intermittent and occurs regardless of the charging device in use, and does not appear to be an overheating issue, as it can happen even if the phone has been out of use for a while.
Apple has twice replaced my phone (thank God for AppleCare), but the problem has persisted. Right now, the only thing the Apple technicians can suggest is that I wait for tomorrow's OS upgrade and keep my fingers crossed.
Given that (for me, at least) the issue dates back to the approximate time of the last OS upgrade (to 3.1.3), I'm sure hoping that will take care of it.

Just as an example, I connected the iPhone to my MacBook this evening; it had about 60% charge, according to the green/black "thermometer." Then, I did some other stuff, and when I checked the thermometer again, it was down to about 20%! It seems like the phone is discharging into the USB power port? Hmm. Let me ask this: when the iPhone is in the dock and the dock is connected to the (awake) MacBook, does iPhone think it's getting power? That is, does the tiny battery icon at the top right have either a lightning bolt or a plug symbol? If it doesn't, then remove the dock and plug the cable directly into the iPhone to see if that helps. It may be that your dock is passing data (which we know because you can sync), but not power.

That was true for older battery types (NiCad).
other says we should charge when the battery is 50% full, they says if we wait battery level to become zero, it will shorten the lives of battery.
If it goes al the way to 0%, but the iPhone will automatically shut off before it gets that low,
The only special care Apple recommends is letting it run down all the way (until it shuts off) every month or so, so the phone can calibrate its battery charge indicator.

I've never had my ipod die while connected to the charger

I've been having problems with my iPod since I've updated it to iOS 8. My battery isn't charging and it's actually died on me three times WHILE connected to the charger. My apps also keep crashing. It's beyond frustrating.
Is there any way I can fix my problem about it not charging?
(i don't have a computer to plug it into so that's a solution that will not work)
