CHARM: Automatic assignement for IBase/Component in Change Request

Hi!
By creation of Change Request the value "IBase / Component" should be filled.
The default values here are: "0" and "0".
Has some one already customizng experience here?
I would like to change the value to e.g. "1" and "314" (my productive IBase).

many thanks for your response. You talking about service desk issue.
Unfortunately we do not use service desk and create the change requests manually.
As I mentioned of great interest were the issue with customizing of layout and actions within Change requests and documents.
Here some examples:

Do you know the customizing procedure here (tcode, documentation) and can help?

    Hi,
    I have configured CHARM for following landscape details.
    Dev-100
    QAS-200
    Prod-300
    For this I have defined the logical component as 100->200->300 & This is working fine. I mention the IBase & Component for Target system i.e. 300 client & Proceed for ChaRM Cycle.
    But  I am having one more client in Production i.e 310. So Can I maintain one more logical component say 100->200->310 & mention the target client for Ibase & Component for 310 target client . Will it work.

    This is std behavior of SDHF : 'The task list of a mainten. cycle contains all the systems that you defined in the maintenance project.
    The task list of an urg. correction contains the production system in which the problem occurred, and only the systems on the shortest transport route from the development system to the production system. This implements your urg. correction as quickly as possible.'

    under 'Urg. Corrections' node you ll see those lines:
    "You can use the program CRM_SOCM_SERVICE_REPORT to import urg. corrections simultaneously into production systems.
    You can also import completed urg. corrections into parallel production systems with the program /TMWFLOW/SCMA_BTCH_SYNC_UC, or into parallel testsystems 
    with the program /TMWFLOW/SCMA_BTCH_SYNC_TEST. You can schedule this program so that it runs in the background periodically during the day, with the job wizard (transaction SM36).
    You can also use the background tasks /TMWFLOW/SCMA_TRIMP_UC and /TMWFLOW/SCMA_TRIMP_TEST, which are in the maintenance cycle task list.'

  • ChaRM Copy Control for Ibase component

    Hi Team,
    I have created ZDCR which is copy of SDCR. And i have created ZDHF which is copy of SDHF. I have created the ZDHF as a subsequent document from ZDCR. While ZDHF is created, the Ibase component is not getting copied from ZDCR.
    How to copy the ibase component from ZDCR to ZDHF?

    goto spro change request management->extended configuration->copy control
    define mapping rules
    here choose your entries and check the IBASE column.

    Hi Madhu,
    This the Table that is used to retrieve the Warranty Profile for the Installed Base. CDBD_IL_IBCWTY - Installed Base Components - Warranty Relationship. If you know the IBASE no and the corresponding COMP number then you can get the Warranty related details. Till now I was unable to find any FM that would do the same.
    For the IBASE related details, you can have a look at the following Function Group. IB_CRM_API - IB: CRM APIs for IBase.

  • IBase component number changed

    Good day!
    After applying SP18 on Solution Manager I have encountered a problem: iBase component number for productive ERP-system has changed three times.
    (first it was 50, then 250, then 268, now 691).
    Right now the process for keeping up to date information about
    satellite systems in Solution Manager is following:
    1.All system data is stored at System Landscape Directory (SLD).
    2.Once an hour it's automatically transfered to SMSY in Solution Manager via
    scheduled task - RSGET_SMSY.
    3.After that (or every time SMSY is saved) iBase is updated.
    Main question is, why did existing iBase component (productive ERP was
    always in list of iBase components) change its number?
    How to prevent this from happening in the future?

    Please check weather ibase is generated for the development system in IB52, Check the Note 1284794 - SMSY: IBase generation cannot be deactivated.
    if Ibase is created for the development system , go to DSWP and the solution that u have maintained the satelite system and do the initial data transfer for Ibase(path would be edit->initial data transfer for Ibase)

    We use transaction CJ20N in creating a meterial component, non stock item category(N), G/L is not automatically populated. Could you please tell me how does the system in SAP automatically assign G/L account in the material component. I have checked the valuation class for the material group and a G/L is assigned there but it is not assigning in the material component.

    yes i have checked the network profile and the g/l account is mandatory, therefore prompting the system for the g/l account to be assigned first
    also, the g/l account is assigned to the valuation class

    When we open the transaction, crmd_order to create change request, the ibase / component came by default as 0 / 0. I want that field to be blank, so that we can make that as mandatory field.

    Your probably have changed the transaction type SLFN to a the customer namespace Z or Y. If this is the case you MUST also "Define Mapping Rules for Copy Control".
    Goto SPRO -> SAP Solution Manager -> Scenario-Specific Settings -> Change Management -> Change Request Management -> Extended Configuration -> Change Transaction -> Change Transaction Types -> Copy Control for Change Request Management ->  Define Mapping Rules for Copy Control.
    Once at this point in the IMG make a copy of SLFN -> ZLFN. This will resolve your problem.

    Hey Sivagami,
    Here is the relation between Support Msg and Ibase component....
    Every Support Msg has something called as GUID which uniquely identfies a Suppport Msg...
    We can get this GUID from Table crmd_orderadm_h....Just pass the request id.....
    Now pass this guid to FM CRM_REFOBJ_READ_OW to get  ibase and ibase component....

    The datasources 0CRM_IBASE_TXT, 0CRM_IBAKEY_TXT and 0CRM_COMPIB_TXT are returning only the text for Ibase header
    object, not for components. Table IBINTX contains the requested texts - how can i get them via standard extractor ?

  • Partner function for a team in Change Request Management

    I have defined a new transaction type based on Urgent Correction. I have three partner functions:
    Change Manager, Team Member and Quality Assurance Team. The first two partner functions are represented by single business partner so I can define them like employee. The third one should be represented by a team of persons, so that the Correction can be seen by every person belonging to this team in their worklist. How can I define a partner function like a team and how can I assign single business partner to the team. I would have something like this:
    I have three business partners A(11),B(12),C(13) belonging to the QA team(20). When I put 20 in the QA team field, i want that the correction is in the worklist of A,B,C.

    hi antonello lapolla,
    The business partner should automatically created for the Org unit.
    Now if you are trying to use the existing Org unit, the business partner are not assigned to them.
    Try this:
    1) You will have to activate HR integration.
    GO thru note 550055.
    maintain table T77S0 as per the obove notes:
    the following entry needs to be made:
    HRALX     HRAC     X     Activate HR Integration
    Check if the value X is present or not..
    Also try
    HRALX     PBPON     ON     description
    Entry should be made if its not there already.
    2) Create new Organization unit using IMG activity (Create a Root Unit for Your Organizational Structure under Service Desk node).
    Now to this org unit, right click create postions or Org unit under the newly created org Unit.
    Then you will find that Business partner is automatically assgined to the newly created Org unit.
    If business partners are not automatically created then apply following notes:
    0000997009 PPOME: Search help for business partners
    0001008656 Error message 5A XXX when you assign position
    Please Reward if your problem is solved.

  • Not able to assign Project to the Urgent Change Request with Developer Id with the existing Authorizations. With SAP_ALL authorization, everything works fine.

    The Urgent Change request is in created status and I am not able to assign project to it. Also I am not able to change the status of the change request to In developement with developer's Id. Everything works fine if i assign SAP_ALL authorization to the developer.
    Below are the roles assigned to Developer ID -

    Use Function Module CRM_IBCWTY_IL_API_CREATE.
    iv_object_guid  = Product Guid (i.e Component for which warranty has to be assigned)
    iv_object_reference = ' 04 ' "if the warranty has to be assigned to Individual object.
    iv_timestamp = valid from date
    it_interlinkage_to_create = internal table with warranty guid, start date and determine dates flag.
