Charm Transport issue

Hi Everyone,
We have Charm configured in our landscape, where in R/3, ECC,SRM systems are connected.
We have scheduled job from SCMA for all the these 3 systems which will run every 1 hr. When it runs all the Charm request in the status "to be tested" will be moved to the Quality system. This is the scenario. Now the problem is that, the job runs successfully in ECC & SRM but in R/3 it is failling intermitently. Sometime it runs good but sometimes it is failing giving the error message:
Status entry in TPSTAT failed
Import error. Check TMS Alert Viewer in target system
Alert viwer:
TP_INTERFACE_ERROR
TP_INTERFACE_ERROR
TP_INTERFACE_ERROR
CREATE_ENQUEUE_FAILED
CREATE_ENQUEUE_FAILED
i logged in OS (IBM AIX) level and found, 3 tp process are running at the same time. is this the problem why iam getting the error in importing request from Development to Quality or something else? why it is not happening for ECC and SRM?
Please let me know how to analyse this and resolve
Thanks & Regards,
Siva

Hi Deepthi,
thanks for your response. i checked the table you have specified here. When i checked the table i found few entries related to some charm Project. I checked it the SCMA tcode in Charm if there is any job got failed during the time specified in the table entries but did not find any. But after sometime the table entries gone by itself. what could be the reason.
also, i found 4 - 5 tp processes running in the system at the same time since many maintenance cycle's jobs have been scheduled at the same time. this can be a reason for the failure? any idea

  • CHARMS - transport issue

Hi, When I transport using charms, it is asking for user id password to Q and P systems for every transport
I have 100's of RFC generated by Solman, which cant be changed manually. It is not allowing to change manually
Do you know the fix?. Any SPRO settings?
    Thanks

    Hi,
This is because of the user id/password issue in the RFC connections,SM_<SID>CLNT<CLNT>_TMW RFC connection is used for the CHARM. You can delete and recreate these RFC's connections[with the same name] if you have the user id/password.

  • ChaRM: transport layer/routes used by ChaRM

    Hi!
We have very complex trasport system settings and would like to implement ChaRM with parallel usage of transports in non-ChaRM environment.
We have a lot of transport routes (between DEV:100 and QAS:100) (e.g. SAP, ZDEV, ZFAD, ZGFA, YDAS).
How can we split the transport routes for ChaRM and transport routes for transports without ChaRM?
Which transport routes will be used with ChaRM?
    Thank you very much!

    Hi
as already mentioned in one of my replies to your last thread, ChaRM always (and only) uses the standard transport layer (route) per client.
This one and all other ones can be used for non-ChaRM transports. This is standard TMS functionality.
But you have to check if the "ChaRM check" in your project configuration accepts your TMS settings. Maybe the other transport layers/routes make waves. Then you have to change them...

  • SLD Transport issue

    Hi All,
I have  transport issue with SLD objects. I have different SLD's for my Development and Quality.
    1) Is CMS a option to transport the SLD objects like Business systems and Technical systems.
    2) I have technical System XYZ on Development system with 2 SWCV's installed for it but in the Quality i have for the same system XYZ i have three SWCV's installed, now if i transport the technical system XYZ from Development to Quality i want the additional SWCV installed for XYZ to be removed, but this is not happening, i even tried to transport the concerned SWCV and Product from Developmen to quality still the installed systems doesnt change as Desired.
Please tell me if its possible and how can be achieved.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Raj.

    Hi,
Two types of transport mechanism are used in PI.
    • File transport method.
    • CMS transport method.
    One upcoming is CTS+.
Perform the following to import/export ID objects.
    1. To export or import directory objects, call the configuration maintenance screen of the Integration Builder.
    2. Call the context menu for an object in a collaboration profile in the Integration Builder navigation tree and choose Export….or choose Tools ® Export Configuration Objects…
    3. Select the Transport Using File System mode and follow the wizard’s instructions. When selecting individual objects, you can use drag and drop to drag the objects from the navigation tree and drop them in the object selection field.
The Integration Builder saves a binary export file with the suffix tpz in the export directory of the directory server
Do not change the file name of the export file. If you do, the Integration Builder will not accept it as the appropriate file when you import.
    4. To import the export file(s) to another Integration Directory, first copy or move it to the import directory of the target directory.
    5. Call the configuration maintenance screen of the Integration Builder for the target directory. Choose Tools ® Import Configuration Objects...
    6. Select the export file saved in the import directory by using the dialog box that appears.
If the import is successful, the export file is moved to the subdirectory  Configuring Groups and Transport Targets
    Configure the CMS:

  • Transportation Issue

    Hi Experts,
I have a transportation issue which have been explained below:
While am transporting thr entire dataflow fromDEV to Quality then my transport is getting failed and its saying that return code error 12 (Program terminated (job: RDDEXECL, no.: 15512700)
) which is critical and when am checking in the Quality its has a Dump message which is given in detail below:
    Name of Runtime error: TYPELOAD_LOST....
Can anyone please let me know the cause of this error and also please let me know how to overcome the same....
    Its urgent....
    Regards,
    Gattu

Ur msg desnt have any error logs - so it is difficult to nail the issue. But I believe you are trying to export all the objects in a one huge transport request, where some of dependencies can be missing. So spilt up the objects into different tranport and try export them in a sequence.
Just repeating the transport again and again doesnt take away the error. try to fix it.

  • ChaRM configuration issue for 2 Clients...

    Dear Friends,
I have configured ChaRM in Solution Manager 7.0 EhP1 system. It is working fine without any issues. But now I came across a new requirement and finding trouble in configuring the required scenario.
Currently there is only single client in DEV, QA and PRD system for which ChaRM is configured. Now, I want to configure the ChaRM for 2 clients in each system.
    For example,
    <ZCHARM_1> -- SOL:001 -- > DEV : 100 --> QAS : 200 --> PRD1 : 300
    <ZCHARM_2> -- SOL:001 -- > DEV : 500 --> QAS : 600 --> PRD2 : 700
(Please note, ZCHARM_X is a project and SOL-001 is a Solution Manager ChaRM client).
First up all, I would like to understand, is it possible? is it supported by SAP ?
If yes, how can we configure client specific route for SAP standard transport layer (SAP)? What are the other concerns in using above system landscape in ChaRM?
Please note, we do not want to use separate hardware for either DEV or QA system.
Please can someone guide in this case?
    Rajesh Narkhede

    Rajesh,
I am not aware if you have searched on this issue, but You may want to take a look at this thread.
Change Request Management for multiple production clients
This configuration should work fine, because in essence, its a 3 system landscape, so there should not be major issues on the way.
From the TMS Standpoint you need to define a transport layer for each development client.
You can create a single project with the logical components or you can create multiple projects with each set of systems. Remember to do the TMS configuration right and you should be set.
    Cheers!

  • ChaRM: Transport reuqest status inconsistency

    Hi Gurus,
I am having a problem when passing a correction to test in ChaRM. The error shows as "Not all transport yet released".
When checked from SE01, all transports concerns are indeed released.
I then ran a report from /tmwflow/reporting to see transports included in the ChaRM in question. There the statuses of two (out of all four) requests were shown as "D" = Modifiable. The other two were shown as "R" = Released.
I am wondering if this has anything to do with my not being able to proceed to the next status?
    BR Li

    Hi
I escalated the issue to SAP, it was found that three out of all four requests of the ChaRM (SDHF) seem not to have a CTS project assigned. All four requests are connected to the urgent correction task list but not to the maintenance cycle (CTS project). The analysis was that the CTS project assignments to the requests may had been removed in SE09. The requests/ChaRM were created by a developer and I couldn't not check/confirm if this was indeed the case. They cannot be added to project from the maintenance cycle's task list either as they had been released.
Nevertheless I am still puzzled by the status inconsistency information. From report /tmwflow/reportingn, and from table /tmwflow/trordhc all shown that the three troubled transports were not released. I am not sure if this missing CTS project connection is the reason the information cannot be read correctly. I don't know when ChaRM is doing the consistency (condition) check regarding release and import when "Pass Correction to Test", where the information is checked/read.
SAP suggestion is to import the requests manually with STMS. This of course is not the best solution, however there seems not another other trick to proceed with the ChaRM. I cannot set the status to the next with CRM program either. The "not all transports yet released" error persists.
Siddharth, thanks. Yes, the report i used was the one ended with "n".
Jansi, for some reason the note you suggested cannot to downloaded from snote tranaction in SolMan, so I haven't implemented it yet.

  • Transport issue when copying a web dynpro component

    Hello All.
I have a web dynpro component lets say ZTest and now I want to copy this, I gave the new one a different name i.e. ZFINAL, now when I copied, it asked me for the trasnport and when I asked to create a new transport I got this message "Class ZIWCI_ZFINAL does not exist" and then I clicked the green arrow again and it created a transport for me. After this process I activated my web dynpro component successfully, my web dynpro component has 3 views and 3 windows. When I looked at my new transport (for ZFinal),  I only saw three tasks attached to teh transport i.e. 1. Interface 2. Info Object from the MIME Repository and 3. Web Dynpro Component but I didn't see Controller (Web Dynpro), Definition (Web Dynpro) and View (Web Dynpro) attached to my transport. Now I wonder when I release my transport to Q I may have issues.
Note: My old trasnport (which has Ztest)has all the missing objects: (Web Dynpro), Definition (Web Dynpro) and View (Web Dynpro)

I resolved it myself.. I had to write the transport entry manually for the views and windows and even the component controller definition.

  • ChaRM transport route, one development, 2 QA, 2 PRD system landscape

    Hello,
We have a customer who has an ERP system with a transport route which is the following:
One single Development system which feeds, 2 QA systems and then 2 PRD systems.
We are to implement ChaRM and we want to customize the tickets so that every time you execute the import action of a transport request into QA (and later into PRD) both systems QA1 and QA2 are updated and later on with PR1 and PR2.
We would like to know how to support this scenario in Solution Manager using ChaRM.  How do we set up the logical component at SAP, how we define the transport route and layers, and how we define the actions in the SDHF ticket.
    I appreciate your help.
    Regards
    Esteban

    Hello,
We set up a testing environment for change request management. In a solution manager we created five clients.  One single development which feeds two quality systems, and final two production system.  As it was said in the thread we used transport groups in the transport route.  The development system feeds this transport group which feed to import queus in quality systems.  We tested this transport route and transports worked well and arrives into both production 1 and production 2 systems.
Then created a logical component for that landscape, with five sytems.  Then we created a maintenance project using that logical component.  We created a maintenance cycle and then a task list was created which shows two delivery system, and the two productive  systems.  All the groups have the right actions.
However when we created a SDHF correction the system creates the task list only for 3 systems, not for the five of them.
we see that only action groups are created for development, quality 1, and production 1.  No entries for quality 2 and production 2
We try to run the action which is in the general part of the task list to execute the import in multiple systems, it cames out with the correct selection of importing in quality 2 system because it is the transport group.  However an error is raised saying that the actions for  quality 2 are not there in the task list which is true.  Finally, as short term solution, we were able to import into quality 2 and later on pr1 but done manually in the stms transactions which is not what we want to do.

  • SAP BI 7.0 Transport issue with HR Structural Authorization DSO

    Hi,
I am trying to transport HR Structural Authorization DSO Objects in  BI 7.0  from Dev to QA system. The Data sources are 0PA_DS02 and 0PA_DS03. ( I am sure that there are lots of changes in Authrorization concept in BI 7.0),.
    1. Please suggest me if I need to make any changes and tests before moving these authorization objects to QA system.
    2. Also, do I need to take any pre-cautions while activating business content objects 0TCTAUTH  and 0TCTAUTH_T (Datasources look like are from 3.x) as I am getting issue with the activation of the transfer structure for these objects?
Thanks a lot for your valuable inputs.
    Regards
    Paramesh
Edited by: paramesh kumar on May 5, 2009 12:45 AM

    Hi Paramesh.
You can use the DSOs 0PA_DS02 and 0PA_DS03 in BI7.0 as well. You just need to use the new generation of analysis authorizations in transaction RSECADMIN.
You can use 0TCTAUTH and 0TCTAUTH_T in BI7.0, however we have experienced som problems with the 0TCTAUTH_T extractor, which dumped because of a poorly designed SELECT statement that was unable to cope with 10000 records. We have replaced it with a generic data source that uses table RSECTEXT directly.

  • Transport issue- Process chain

    Hi Folks,
I am facing a issue  when transporting process chain,
Am transporting a set of process chain using transport connection  a) when I choose all the objects and create a request and save it,  I get a message saying ' specify request', however the request is generated.
    b) When I transport the request I get an error as " Source system   does not exist".
I checked conversion of logical systems  and RSLOGSYSMAP system, I dont find any issue.
    Would appreciate quick response.
    Thanks,
    Ravi

    Thanks Sheetal,
    My settings are fine,
I tried removing the info package and do, no much of a change, however afte specify request is continously checked I get the errors as " Errors occurred when saving dependent object R3TR/PROG/ZMAJ_SUIVI of RSPV ABAP      MAJ_SU",
I guess its related to process variant, but as per my understanding the process chains can be transported with Variants,
    Any help ??

  • Transport issue in NWDI

    Hi ,
I am facing issue while transporting BPM project.
    My scenario is:
I am using single SLD for Dev and Test environments.
We have BPM already present on Dev and test environments.
Received a new change for the existing BPM. we have undeployed the existing BPM on Dev environment and created a new BPM on dev environment by adding the changes.
The changed BPM is deployed on dev successfully and tested also.
After we transport the new changed BPM to test environmet, it is giving error while importing the TR:
    Error is:
-> Cannot deploy two applications with identical application aliases (context roots). Your application [xxx.com/logistics~xxx_bp
m] defines an application alias (context root) [{urn_xxx_xxx_PurchaseOrderNotification}OutboundDeliveryConfirmation
_In] that is already in use by application [xxx/logistics~xxx. There are two possibilities in order to proceed with
deployment: 1) Define different application alias (context root) for your application [xxx/logistics~xxx_bpm] (this is the
preferred option). 2) Undeploy the application [xxx/logistics~delivery~xxx'. "
But when I try to login to NWDI Track of Test system  to un-deploy, it is not showing any details.
    Any ideas on my issue.

    Hi SP,
You can undeploy your application from Test environment by using the undeploy view of your NWDS.
Please also go through the below thread which will be helpful to you:-

  • ChaRM: transport route migration

    Hi!
we have a lot of different transport routes with different transport layer and would like to implement ChaRM.
We have a lot of different transport routes with different transport layer where we assign the developer classes/packages.
Now we would like use ChaRM.
As we know ChaRM uses standard transport layer and transport route.
Therefore we plan to consolidate all the developer classes/packages assigning to none-standard transport layer and route and migrate them to standard transport layer and transport route
    Questions:
    1) Can some one confirm whether or not ChaRM uses the standard transport layer with standard transport routes?
    2) Or is it possible to create own transport layer u201CZCRMu201D, assign them all the development class/package relevant for ChaRM and leave the other none-transport layer unchanged?
    3) Can one development class/package be assigned to several transport layers?
    4) Has some one experience dealing with the approach of migration?
    (tcode SE16 --> T_DEVC)
It will be great get some information regarding these questionsu2026

  • JDI Transport issue

    Hi All,
    We are on AIX/ EP 6.0 SP 15/ oracle 9i. JDI SP15
Our java development system (JDI) landscape is mentioned below
Development: JDI system - SAP J2EE, JDI
Consolidation: EP Development - SAP J2EE, EP 6.0
Test: EP Quality - SAP J2EE, EP 6.0
Production: EP Production. - SAP J2EE, EP 6.0
We have created a track in JDI and developed FPM aplications under this track after testing we have transported the requests to Consolidation (EP Development System). The transport was successful to the consolidation system but we couldn’t find the applications in WebDynpro Content administrator to create Jco connections.
As per the logs we understood that the application is deployed successfully thru SDM of EP development system.
    My question is,
    1. Was the landscape that we defined (Dev, Cons, Test and Production) is correct?
    2. Once release the Transport request it appears on Consolidation tab. when we import it doesnt deployed in to Development system. but there is no error message (Import Failed) as such. Is this because we are importing into the consolidation sys before assembling?
    Appreciate your help.
    Thanks
    Karthik

    Hi Pascal,
    Thanks for your reply.
So, the only way is to redefine the runtime systems.
What will be the impact if i redefine the systems (Actually, we developed some applications, activated and released the request in the current runtime systems landscape)?
I know that if i redefine the system then all the data (SC's) will be restored and will have to be imported from the Check-in tab again.
My question here is, if i redefine the runtime systems, save and restore the track, will this affect the objects that i've already developed and activated/released?
if this will affect, pl let me know the workaround to resolve this issue.
    Appriciate your help.
    Thanks

  • Query Variable Transport Issue/Question

Hi, i am transporting some queries into my BWQ Quality System and ended up with an error:
Element 1Q070GEFFJXNCR690H6TJ4M13 is missing in version M
The queries work fine in BWD Development.
I checked the following in table RSZGLOBV
BWD Development System and there is Version A, B, and D
BWQ Development System and there is only Version D
BWP Development System and there is only Version D
So the variable already exists in all of the system and the VARUNID is the same in all of the systems as well..
Any ideas why I would have this issue and will there be a problem with queries already using this variable in BWQ and BWP should I transport it again to resolve this issue.  (If this would resolve the issue)
    Thanks!

    Hi,
I faced the same issue many times and did the same what Andrey suggested.
In your case the query element does not exist in QA and PRD in Active Version 'A', which means none of your queries in those environments are using the variable already.
We get the description of various statuses when we do an F1 in the field version after running table RSZGLOBV. I could not understand much of the explanation given. It says when an object is saved, the version would be M and when it is activated it would be A. We save queries/elements....but activation??
