Charms bar doesnt work
After updating my os from win 8 to win 8.1
I started experiencing problems with charms bar.
problem 1 :wheni point my mouse pointer to right edge of the screen charms bar doesnot appear unless I restart windows explorer in task manager.Even start button doesnt work nsome times,also left side app viewer doesnot work.

Meanwhile, perform an clean boot to see if it caused by some third-party software conflicts.

I suspect a problem with the wall charger. Have you tried another wall charger and/or cable? I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. If you bought the charger from Apple they will replace it if it is within warranty.

Video slide bar doesnt work with streaming video
I am converting from progessive video to streaming video. I am using a streaming site. the video plays fine through when called up in preview or published but the silide bar doesnt work for the video (backwords or forwards in the video)...works fine in a progressive download. I am using fv4.
Any Ideas?I had no problem getting the video to stream inside my project...my problem is that when I use the "insert a fv or fv4" feature and insert the proper link, captivate uses a different player (the video shows up in a separate window in the slide) and the player doesnt have a progress bar. The progress bar in the skin itself will not (the player that comes with the slide) operate. Therefore, all I can do is start and stop the video....I need a working slide bar so the student can navigate ( especially backwards) the video....any Ideas?

No files at that link. Just a directory listing (meaning that the folder on the server is empty).
I've remove them all (to clean up some duplicated files) and uploaded it fresh ! ! ! And is working now (so it seems) Can you still give it a look and enlight me why it wasnt and it is now? I've been adressing my web designs mostly from a graphic design approach but very entusiastic in learning all i can about the code, so that i can enhance the usability.

Nav Bar doesnt work in I.E. ? ! ! !
I´m building a web site in Dreamweaver CS6. And my Nav bar (spry menu bar) isnt working properly in IE ( it works fine in any other I.Browser ).
Why does this happens? How can i fix it?

Spry menu bar doesnt work in IE
Hi,
I have created a new site in dreamweaver cs5 that works fine in firefox and safari but in IE the spry menu bar does not appear. It does not show at all until you put the mouse over it then the rollover box shows and you are able to click on it to get to the page. The whole bar does not show at all, just each box once you put mouse in area???
Any ideas what is wrong??

This path to your image seems quite wrong and overrides the li background. White text on white background (for IE), you cannot see anything. -
Swipe bar doesnt work even in shut down mode
I have an ipad that is not working. It still has power but the swipe bar to enter password is not moving and when I try the top button to shut it down and reboot it goes dark and the swipe button appears but it wont let me swipe.
Any suggestions?Oh dear doesn't sound too good. Do you have a backup of your iPad either via iCloud or after connecting to iTunes and selecting Backup from the iPad Summary tab? If so it may be worth trying a "Restore iPad" only do this though if you've got a backup of your iPad as this will delete everything and return your device to factory settings.

Space bar doesnt work as Play!
hi, i just cant play with space key, i went to the keyboard costumize and it says this key is locked by default, the question is that if its configure to play by default and i cant configure it why or how can modify this? cause im very used to do play with this key.

what should i do?Hi olga, I don't know whether it is relevant, but when sites open a new window, they can limit the features of that window. One of the options is to prevent scroll bars from appearing. Every page you visit in that window will have the same restriction.
You can change a setting so that scroll bars cannot be stripped from pop-up windows. Here's how:

Scrollbar doesnt work from time to time

Generally speaking, this problem can be caused by Graphic driver problem. please check and upgrade Graphic driver to be latest for test. In addition, please check Event Viewer if it identify the problem.
If problem persists, you can visit the following Web site to download and install the latest IntelliPoint software:

I got my screen fixed and the day i got my ipod touch 4th gen back the wifi doesnt work unless i hold it right up to my router. Roughly every foot I move back it loses a bar and if i leave the room it doesn't even have a signal completely. Could the screen replacement have tampered with the wifi capability? Also if it helps I switched internet providers and during the time when my ipod was being fixed a new router was installed and it doesnt seem to work unless directly infront of my ipod.
Take it back to where you had the screen replaced. They messed up the connection to the wifi antenna

I was in the middle of updating to 7.0.3 and Itunes stopped working. Now my phone is stuck in limbo (apple logo with status bar under) My power button doesnt work (of course) How do I get it back to normal?
I have same issue. I click on the home button and Wake/sleep at the same time for 30 seconds or more and then the phone entered in Recovery mode. It is erasing my content now and installing the update. Let´s see how this ends. I have iCloud, iTunes match, and backups from previos versions, hope I can restore all my content.
Otherwise I´ll go to the Genius Bar to do a checkup.

It did not work the first time... The iPhone4 kept in limbo. Then I did disconnect as suggested above and tried again to enter in Recovery mode. This second time it works. And after restoring the iPhone4 with 7.0.3, it asked me if I want to recover from backup. I did recover from my latest back up and now it is syncing the content. -

Not sure if this will work, but you could try the app My Contacts Backup. This will back up your contacts as an email attachement. Send the email to yourself. Then turn off contacts syncing (to erase the contacts from your phone), open the email and tap the attachment to re-import the contacts to your phone. You will still have to go through them and remove the duplicates but at least they should not be duplicated again. (There is an app called
Remove Duplicate Contacts and Events that claims to be able to find and remove duplicates but you'll have to read the reviews in the app store to decide if you want to try it.) -
