Charset problem -- NLS_LANG the reason
If hab the following problem
I use a unix server where a Oracle Server 10.2.0.2.0 64bit Version runs
on this database i save my SAP data
Now i have also a Windows 2000 Server where i run a Oracle 10.2.0.1.0 32 bit Client
From this client i wanna make queries with MS Access 2003 via ODBC
There is no connection problem but a problem with the signs which are shown in linked table from Access
in SAP on the server i see for example "Moneriő" in my Access table i see only "Monerio"---> a modified "o"
Where could be the error
Is the reason a wrong adjusted NLS_Lang in the Windows registry on the client ???
There i can read " GERMAN_GERMANY.WE8MSWIN1252"
On the server i can see with "select * from nls_database_parameters" the following
NLS_NCHAR_CHARSET ---> UTF8
NLS_LANGUAGE -->AMERICAN
NLS_TERRITORY --> AMERICA
Would it solve my problem, if i modifie NLS_LANG on the client to the same values like those on the Server

i had a look on NLS_CHARACTERSET of my database. It is also UTF8.
This charset is optimal for my requirements, it contains all necessary characters i wanna use.
Now my question again: IS it necessary to change
NLS_NCHAR_CHARSET to UTF8
NLS_LANGUAGE to AMERICAN
NLS_TERRITORY to AMERICA
Or what can be the rease else??

The reason the fourth gen nano displays the "cannot charge through firewire" message is just that. All the other models of iPods charge through a firewire connection and the new fourth generation nano does not charge through a firewire connection.

I am unable to update my App store Updations. the reason being billing problem asking to update payment method.Many a times i updated my credit card details but refusing from the system .how can i update my app store updations like Face book etc....Using ! phone 6plus .IOS8.3
What do you mean by 'refusing from the system', if you are getting an error message then what does it say ?
For a credit card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are. If it is and if you are getting a 'declined' message then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) and see if they know why it's being declined : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
If when trying to download you are getting a message about a 'problem with a previous purchase' then that implies that iTunes wasn't able to collect the money for your last purchase. If that is the case then you won't be able to download anything else (including app updates) until you've paid off what you owe : Pay an unpaid balance in the iTunes Store - Apple Support
If you aren't getting the 'problem with a previous purchase' message then try logging into your account (not when trying to download something) and see if you get the 'none' option so that you can remove the card's details and be able to download updates to your apps : Change or remove your payment information from your iTunes Store account (Apple ID) - Apple Support -
Hi, I m using an iPhone 4 and my yahoo push email was working just fine but for the last few days I am experiencing some problem that is the emails are not getting pushed , I have to manually fetch the mails. So what could be the reason for this.....I have set the email setting to "push" mode. Moreover I can't edit the mail server address ....current it's on Yahoo SMTP server
Will it get rectified and restored...if so after how long. What could be the reason for such outage kindly share, as I am facing real problem because of this...

My notes from my iphone4 have been deleted. Heres the problem, the reason it is deleted is because i accidentally deleted my gmail messages. i guess my notes were there to. the notes are not in icloud and not in gmai. is there any way i can get them back?

It was replaced by the iPhone 5C, which is essentially the same phone except for the case, better LTE converage and a larger battery.

I have reloaded the software from the original disk and have downloaded the latest update and still get the same error.Did you delete all receipts with iDVD in the file name with either a .PKG or .BOM extension that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder and from the /var/db/receipts/ folder before installing the new copy? If not then do so and delete the new application also.

When you use EXEC() AT, I would execpt to see an SQL string to be passed to EXEC(), but you are passing an XML string????

if i open passbook on iphone 5, it always say cannot connect to itunes, any fix from apple tech support? and whats the reason for this problem? why do we have to figure it out and not even apple can give answer??
actually i found out how to fix it
1 sign out of apple account
2 close down passbook app
3 change year to 2013
4 reopen passbook and sign in at the button with your apple ID
5 change the time to auto update and it should work from now on.

I recently upgraded both Pages 09 (I believe) and went to OSX 10.9 Maverick .... now I am unable to send a pages document to a friend on gmail. Google rejects the message and attachment with the following explanation -

IWORKS 09 pages, keynote, numbers does not send in MAIL (mac) because of "This message was blocked because its content presents a potentialsecurity issue"
its a problem not only on GMAIL but also Live, Hotmail, Yahoo, and other services...
The problem is that gmail and others haved yet accepted the latest iworks 09 files. its a problem that apple can ask then to fix but its up to the gmail and others to fix it.
Solution!!!:
1 - Send it by exporting to office files
2 - Saving the files as old iwork documents
3 - Command P and save as PDF
4 - Save in icloud and send the URL
So you can still send them but have to take a bit more of your time

Hi, just got off the phone from BT Business. It is the Business 2wire hub that has the issue. The girl from technical talked through a direct modem to Mac connection and my download took 20 minutes. If you are on Fibre broadband this is the only current fix or a new router if non fibre customer. Hope that helps.

I have paid for the Mountain Lion. But for some reason, I cannot seem to download it, despite software being upgraded. Anyone facing this problem where the download does not begin? How can I solve this?
Make sure your Mac qualifies to run Mountain Lion > Apple - Upgrade your Mac to OS X Mountain Lion.
Try disabling anti virus software and turn off the Firewall in System Preferencs > Security & Privacy
Apps such as Little Snitch and Net Nanny can prevent apps from downloading from the App store including Mountain Lion.
Third party download managers are not compatible with the App Store.
Keep in mind, for downloading Mountain Lion from the App Store, a high speed (broadband) internet connection is strongly recommended by Apple as noted here > iTUNES STORE - MAC APP STORE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
If you need to reinstall OS X or repair the the startup disk using Mountain Lion Recovery, that requires broadband access to the internet via Wi-Fi or an Ethernet connection. OS X is downloaded over the internet form Apple when OS X Recovery is used for reinstallation.
