Chart Computed Items info

Is there anyway to know via Java Script which Facts in a Chart are computed items?

By the way, three snaps for setting up a functional backup system. It seems like the most frequent post in these discussions is "my hard disk died, I have no backup, what do I do?". It's nice to to finally encounter someone who understands the value of a good backup solution!

  • ITunes 7.1 edit multiple item info

    Hi,
    Never had this problem before but upon upgrading to iTunes 7.1 last night I started experiencing it immediately. Was wondering if I'm doing something wrong or if this is a bug? I'm in the process of ripping a lot of vinyl I have to mp3. I use Lamebrain to encode my aiff files to mp3. Upon dragging a few mp3s into iTunes to add them, they show up fine in my Library, but when I highlight, say, these two new files in my Library to edit them this is when the problem starts.
    When the multiple item info window pops up, I enter in whatever info I want the two items to have, hit enter, but the information I've just entered only is being applied to the first of the two highlighted items. Furthermore, the second item which didn't have the information applied to it has now been rendered mysteriously uneditable, meaning that when I press -I to get info on the track, all of the normal fields that one can enter in all the metadata are inaccessible (I can't click in any of them to enter info), as if iTunes were viewing the track as an internet radio stream or something. Only if I quit iTunes and relaunch it does it let me enter in metadata for that track. This never used to happen to me in iTunes 7.02! Any suggestions?

    i was having the same problem and i fixed it by locating the songs on my computer and right clicking on it and selecting properties. then you have to make sure it is not a "read-only" file. by unclicking the read-only option , i was able to edit those songs on iTunes with the GetInfo option. hope this helps!

  • Finder 'item info' in icon view missing

    For about the last month of so (possibly since the last update, but I didn't notice it right away, so I won't swear to this) my Finder stopped showing 'item info' in icon view, but only for images.
    So say I have a folder full of images, and I open it in icon view: there are the icons, but no info below. I have checked settings, and toggled the "Show Item Info" on and off. The icons even jump to a longer spacing to make room for the item info to display, only it never does. I have rebuilt permissions, done routine scripts, cleared caches, rebuilt launch services (OK, but I was being thorough!) to no avail.
    Double checked on the iMac, info displays fine. If I open a folder of images that resides on the iMac and view it on the laptop over the network, the info displays fine. Open the folder that resides on the laptop and view it on the iMac over the network, no info. Only files/folders which are resident on my laptop do not correctly display info, regardless of where they are viewed; files in the iMac correctly display info, regardless of where they are viewed.
    I also tried copying files back and forth, and the result remains the same, so it does not seem to be a characteristic of the files themselves.
    Any ideas? Obviously, this is not a major concern, but it's annoying, particularly since I use a lot of graphics, and not being able to check sizes quickly is a bit of a pain. Not to mention that not being able to pin down WHY it's happening is driving me nuts....

    The most common cause of this is that folder, its parent folder, or the drive itself has been added to the Spotlight Privacy pane, or Spotlight has been disabled. I had never noticed before that the spacing changes when you toggle to get the non-existent info, but you're right, it does. So check your Spotlight settings.

  • Windows explorer keeps computing items after accessing a mapped network drive

    Our organization has decided to upgrade to windows 7 but we are running into a problem with windows explorer green progress bar hanging after accessing a mapped network drive. When you try to go back to computer or access the control panel after going
    3 or more folders deep into the mapped drive, windows explorer just keeps searching.
    When you expand the arrow in the address bar it states that it is computing items and never stops.
    The only way around this is to right click on libraries and select reset back to defaults and everything is back to normal.
    We are deploying this image of windows 7 to over a 1000 computers and we cannot have this problem lingering, does anyone have a solution to resolve this issue. This does not happen in Windows XP.
    We have tried to turn off windows search and remote differential compression and this does work but the problem is that you lose all search capabilities in windows. So windows search needs to be enabled. We also tried to adjust the MTU, change GP settings,
    and nothing seems to work except to turn windows search off or reset libraries back to default.
    We also did some research online and there are so many people experiencing the same problem, with no resolution expect they have to go back to Windows XP. That is not an option for us.
    Please help us we would really greatly appreciate it.

    The issue could be related to searching and indexing feature in Windows 7. I suggest rebuilding the indexing files.
    Click Start -> Type
    indexing options in the search box -> Advanced -> Index Settings tab-> Rebuild buttion.

    If the issue persists, you can perform the following troubleshooting steps.
    1. Go to update your network adapter drivers and BIOS from manufacture's site manually.
    2. If any router is involved, please update the firmware.

  • Publisher name in Item info for PDF is not displayed

    Hi All,
    Publisher name in Item info for PDF is not displayed (shows; unkown publisher) in Adobe Digital Editions. The Adobe Acrobat Professional does not have "Publisher" field to add Publisher name; it facilitates user to provide "Title", "Author", "Subject" and "Keywords" into the Document Properties (Ctrl+D)
    Some one please guide, to get Publisher name in "item info" for PDF in Adobe Digital Editions.

    For PDF the Publisher name comes only from the encryption information that is included when a PDF file is packaged for use by Adobe Content Server.  If this information was not included at packaging time there is no end user method for adding it in after the fact.

  • Finder 'item info' doesn't get updated

    10.4.6, on my PowerBook 1.5Ghz 15"
    I have 'show item info' selected in Desktop View Options.
    My hard drive icon has size and free space displayed, but didn't update (weeks ago) when I deleted 10G of files. If I select the icon, and do 'Get Info', it shows correct sizes.
    Anybody seen this? Know the solution?
    It has always worked correctly on my PowerMac Quad G5, on every os version I've used so far.

  • Computed Items in Pivot table not working...

    One urgent help please….
    We have a pivot table where we have a measure label: Period name, & the measure is COST..
    The P-table shows Cost for selected (Prior & Current period) (we have 2 presentation variables for the same curr & prior).
    We need to have a computed ITEM in the Pivot which will be DELTA, Cost for Current Period – Cost for Prior Periods & should be shown on the same row.
    I tried adding a Computed ITEM in the measure label but I am unable to give the formula.
    ‘@{curr}’ - ‘@{prior}’
    but this doesn’t work as its not shown on the display…
    Please try giving me some hint….

    Hi,
    Remember that NULL + x is NULL.
    Use NVL (or COALESCE) to treat missing values as 0 when adding them. Do something like this in the main query:
    select  a.*
    ,      NVL (still_contacting, 0)
          + NVL (dud,            0)
          + NVL (no_curr_opp,      0)
          + NVL (cb_later_dt,      0)
          + NVL (meeting_booked,   0)
          + NVL (opp_in_eom,       0)

  • Desktop item info not updating

    I searched but could not find a previous issue about this:
    The item info underneath my mounted drives on my desktop does not update.
    For example my boot HD says 161.7 MB free underneath, while if I command-i, it says the correct free space as 2.7gb.
    I read in a similar issue that the .DS_store is slow to update, and I assume this maybe the problem?
    Is there a way (such as apple script) to force this to update frequently?

  • PO: Combining repeating line item info with individual line item detail.

    I want to simplify the display PO t-code ME23N (and ultimately create and change) and I want to have a scrollable table with the line item info but I want to include in that scrollable table details that are only available on the item detail sub-area, e.g. account assignment info.

    That's not possible with Personas. You can't add extra columns to standard tables, nor create custom tables. You'd need to modify the underlying SAPgui transaction in the usual way and then simplfy that. How easy it will be to modify ME23N I have no idea - you'll have to ask over in the ABAP Switching, Enhancing, and Adapting Standard Programs space. I will say that some of the line item details are hard to include in the line item table, and account assignment is one of them - how to you represent split account assignment, for example?

    when I try to create a Bid, the item info (required quantity and Unit) gets blanked and this fields are blocked.

  • Desktop's item info doesn't sync

    Hi all mac-users.
    I have a slight problem with my MB, the HD's item info (the one shows how many free spaces and used spaces) doesn't seem to be correct. The problem is the HD's item info (size) can't be updated once i add or remove files from the HD. But when i turn it off and on again then the info of the size will be updated or when i tick off the box of "shows item info" and tick it again then the info will be correct otherwise it'd stay as it was turned on (e.g free 10Gb, erase 2Gb files, the info stays at 10Gb not 12Gb without doing those ticking off-on and turning on-off).
    Has anyone ever had this kind of problem? and how did u guys solve it. thanks

  • How to display characteristic values in X achsis in chart web item

    I have a chart web item which has to display key figure (Y achsis) with three characteristics T, A and B.
    The first characteristic T has two values T1 and T2 which are represented through two columns in the graphic area.
    The second characteristic A has three values and the second B has 7 values.
    The  characteristic values have to be listed as below in the graphic:

  • Show Item Info gives wrong numbers

    On my iMac 20" Core Duo with OS 10.4.6, the hard drive data shown in the Finder with the Show Item Info option selected is incorrect. For example, the internal drive shows 232.57 GB with 47 GB free. Activity Monitor or Get Info both show the correct amount of 162.38 GB free. Same thing happens with external drives. Graphics show the correct dimensions, though. On my iBook with OS 10.3, the item info is shown correctly.
    Apple suggested reinstalling the system, but this seems like overkill for such a minor problem.
    I was just wondering if anyone else is seeing this?

    I have noticed this problem on my iBook and eMac for the free space available on my iDisk and Hard Disks, but here is an easy workaround.
    Go to the force quit item in the apple menu. Select the finder and relaunch. When the finder refreshes, the information will be accurate.

  • Show item info does not show on all files

    I need that "show item info" very much, because it shows, how many sec each of my video clips are. When I have a folder with many video clips in it, about 3/4 shows the item info (sec length of clip) but about 1/4 it does not.
    It would help me a lot to see all. Would there be a way to fix that?

    Before you do this insert your original dvd, then restart holding the c key until the grey apple logo screen appears. When it asks to select language do so. On the next screen select Disk utility from the tools/utilities menu. Select your HD and do a Repair Disk. If errors are indicated and repairs are shown as successful, rerun this until there are no errors indicated. Also do the Repair Permissions option while in this mode.
    After all this restart and see whether all goes well.
    This process will be a lot quicker than a reinstall if it solves the problems.
