  • Time Scatter Chart

    Hi Everyone,
    is it possible to use in the time scatter chart time stamp?
    I have already used date and time but now I need both together.
    Thanks and Regards
    Erwin

    Neeraja,
    In the BusinessGraphic UI Element, right click and Select Insert Cateogy, In the Description, bind your context or enter text. Also check what kind of graph you are inserting in the BusinessGraphicUI element properties of chart type.

  • Legend displacement/mix-up in Time Scatter Chart

    Hello, we have applied Java patch 11 on BW 7.0, but we have a major problem with a Time Scatter chart we are unable to solve.
    Data are displayed correctly on the chart itself, but the legend (names are taken from the query visualized by the chart) is misplaced.
    If executed as stand-alone, the query gives correct results (the chart itself visualizes them correctly). We looked for a solution between the SAP official notes related to our patch level, but we didn't find anything that could be useful to us to solve our problem.

    Hi,
    solve it by installing the latest IGS patchlevel, see note 1167019!

  • Business Graphics: Time Scatter

    Hi
        By default Time scatter graph shows the X Axis values in Year and Month where the Format is fixed as yyyyMMdd;HHmmss. My Requirement is to show them in Minutes and Hours
    Eg:
            ^ Y
    Pnts |
                                                                  X ->
    Mnts         00   15  30  45  00 15 30 45  00 15  30  45
    Hr                       2                   3                  4
    How can i do this?

    I hope that can help you:
    Open the Chart Designer for your Graphic
    There you have to select "Time axis" --> "Line" in the Overview window (top right).
    Now in The Line Window (bottom right) you can set 3 Line Parameters.
    You have to set:
    line type1 = Minute
    line format1
    line step1 = 15
    line type2 = Hour
    line format2 =
    line step2 = 1
    line type3 = None
    line format3 =
    line step3 = 0
    You should also select a useful Timerange for TimeAxis. If it is to long you will see no numbers.

  • Business Graphics: Time Scatter, Line Chart, Column Chart

    Hi all,
      I have a requirement of intermixing of Bar/Column-Chart and Line-Chart. How to do this? I also need to color the columns.. Any Documents or Ideas will be appreciated.
    Thanks,
        Vinod V

    Hi, Rohit & Neha
       I think, my question is not clear..
    My requirements are on Business Graphics (Not in IWDTable), where i need to represent my data in different columns (Levels). Each level will be Represented in different colors.
    Eg: Top level of my Graph will have RED,
          Middle by YELLOW and
          Bottom part would be with GREEN.
    My Second Question is on using Multiple Graph types in same graph...
    Where data will be represented in Column/Bar Chart and in the same graph i need a curve to display the max value pointed by Column Chart..
    How can i achieve this?

  • How to show time values in a chart item of WAD 7.0?

    Hi experts,
    i have a keyfigure in time format hh:mm:ss. In the analyze item it is no problem to show the query results in this format. But in a chart for example line type the chart designer cannot resolve the values and all lines are down. In the chart wizard i can only choose between text, label and percent.
    Have anyone an idea that can help?
    take care
    Leo

    Hi Leo,
    You can use Time Scatter Chart for this purpose.

  • Business graphics/series:series/Point" Role "Values":A minimum 1 object(s)

    Hi All,
    I am getting an error:
    Webdynpro generation: metadata constraint of component component_name is violated: Point "// WebDynpro/View:com.domain.ProjectViewName/RootUIelementcontainer/...../ business graphics/series:series/Point" Role "Values":A minimum 1 object(s) is required.

    Hi ,
    When you create a series , you have to create a series -> series_point->point ->numerical or time value..
    Blogs by Marcin Galczynski
    /people/sap.user72/blog/2006/05/01/advanced-business-graphics--time-scatter
    Or you can use a simple series

  • Problems in Caliberation Setting

    Hi,
    I have an Application where I need to plot the charts using <b>Time-Scatter Graph</b> .
    I am using <b>2 Y-Axis</b>.
    But I am unable to dynamically set the Minimum and Maximum y-axis points through code.
    Currently I have set the Minimum and Maximum points for the Y Axis in BG (Business Graphics) Design Time.
    Please suggest if we can set the Min & Max values through code as it is very cumbersome to manually set the Min and Max Values for say around 400 odd charts.
    We are unable to set the Chart <b>Title</b> too dynamically.
    Thanking in advance,
    Poojith

    Hi,
    as stated above, use method setCustomizing for defining such dynamic values at runtime. The method expects the chart engines customizing XML.
    Use the SAP Chart Designer to create the XML and delete the XML parts that shouldn't be changed at runtime. In your case this would result in e.g.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <SAPChartCustomizing version="1.1">
    <Elements>
      <ChartAxes>
       <ValueAxis id="ValueAxis1">
        <Minimum>10</Minimum>
        <MinimumCalculation>UserDefined</MinimumCalculation>
        <Maximum>20</Maximum>
        <MaximumCalculation>UserDefined</MaximumCalculation>
       </ValueAxis>
      </ChartAxes>
    </Elements>
    </SAPChartCustomizing>

  • Problems in setting the Secondary y-axis caliberation

    Hi,
    I have a Business Graphics (Time-Scatter Graph) Application having 2 y-axis representing the sales volume. I have set the minimum value of the primary y-axis to 0 using the <b>default series</b>, but am unable to set the minimum value of the secondary y-axis value to 25. please help me in doing the same.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    have you set the minimum values using the chart designer? Just click on the second value axis node and set the minimum value to 25 (don't forget to set minimum calculation to user defined).

  • Is it possible to take a print from the Portal

    Hello All,
    Is it possible to take a print out from the Portal.
    Let me be  more clear about the case:
    We have designed some charts (Time Scatter) in our WebDynpro projects and displayed it in the Portal. Now, the Team is enquiring if the Print out of the generated charts could be taken from the portal by providing a button. Or else they will have to save the chart as an image and take a print out.
    Please let me know how can it be done if possible.
    Points will be awarded.
    Regards,
    Poojith MV

    hi....
    Follow the code given below !!
    The print functionality can be included by writing a Separate PortalComponent and calling the component when the print button is clicked on any page.
    In the JSP call the print cmponent By using
    <%@ page import="com.sapportals.portal.prt.service.urlgenerator.IUrlGeneratorService"%>
    <%@ page import="com.sapportals.portal.prt.service.urlgenerator.specialized.IPortalUrlGenerator"%>
    <%@ page import="com.sapportals.portal.prt.service.urlgenerator.specialized.ISpecializedUrlGenerator"%>
    For instance :
    Include code like this in all your jsps
    <%
    try {
    IUrlGeneratorService urlGen =(IUrlGeneratorService) componentRequest.getService(IUrlGeneratorService.KEY);
    // get Specialized Portal Url Generator
    IPortalUrlGenerator portalGen = null;
    ISpecializedUrlGenerator specUrlGen =urlGen.getSpecializedUrlGenerator(IPortalUrlGenerator.KEY);
    if (specUrlGen instanceof IPortalUrlGenerator)
    portalGen = (IPortalUrlGenerator) specUrlGen;
    printUrl =portalGen.generatePortalComponentUrl(
    componentRequest,
    "<ProjectName>.<PrintComponent>");// calling the Print Component
    } catch (Exception e) {
    response.write("EXception---"+e.getMessage());
    %>
    Hold the bean values in the HttpSession.
