Charts Top Songs and Top Albums please help!
Hi,
Does anybody know exactly how the charts "top songs" and "top albums" are put together on itunes?
Are there differences from one country to the next?
Are multiple purchases of the same item from the same account counted in full for the charts? or is it the case that only the unique purchases for each account is counted in compiling the charts, excluding multiple purchases from the same account ?
If only unique purchases are counted for each account, what about gifts? at what points songs sent as gifts are counted in the charts?
please please help
Sites like the iTunes Store generally do not document how such listings are complied so as to prevent record companies and/or artists from "gaming" the system and working out ways to get their tracks listed higher. So other than guesswork, no one here can answer your questions. Sorry.

Tried to download TV series from ITunes. Most ok, but 4 will not download. All I get is: download error. Tap to retry. Repeats over and over. Please help!
If you sync with iTunes on your computer - connect the iPad to your computer and launch iTunes. Click on the iPad name on the left side. Then at the top of iTunes go to Store>Check for available downloads. See if the TV shows will download there and then sync them to the iPad.
If you don't sync with iTunes, try signing out of your account, restart the iPad, sign in again and then try to download the shows again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to download again. -
in my iPhoto library i have photos of web pages i don't know how they got there there are hundreds of them ,how do i get rid of them and stop them please help me as i have no idea many thanks
im sorry to be a bit thick here i didnt know this was happening until i looked through all my photoes i use an sd card to put pictures on lap top and icloud from my phone but in library there are all web pages i have ever been to ie face book ebay etc i didnt know if there was any thing i should be turning off many thanks for ur last answer though

Your purchases won't automatically show in your new Mac's iTunes library. If you go into iTunes > Preferences and on the Store tab tick the 'show iTunes in the cloud purchases' then what you can redownload should show in the Music part of your library with a cloud icon against them - click on the cloud to download them. Or click on your name towards the top right of iTunes and then click Purchased on the popup, and you can redownload them from there.
If you've moved countries since buying the music, or if the rights-holders have removed them from the store, then you won't be able to redownload them. In that case if you still have your old computer then you could copy them over from that (e.g. via an external drive : How to move your iTunes library to a new computer - Apple Support or via home sharing), or copy them from your backup of your downloads/library and add them via File > Add Too Library -
I bought a song and an album on my iPod touch last night..
So last night I bought a song and an album on my iPod touch and when I synced it to my computer none of the songs transferred to my PC and now the songs are gone from my iPod touch. The only thing left is the audiobooklet. So how can I get the songs back?? And the songs aren't showing up as purchased on my iPod touch.
If this makes any sense PLEASE help me (:Look in your purchase history to see if it shows as purchased. If not, then just purchase again.
If it does show as purchased then try:
In itunes click Store>Check for Available Downloads and see if it shows up.
If not, try attaching the ipod and, in itunes, click File>Transfer Purchases.
If these do not work, the go to purchase history and click "Report a Problem". -

I hate to say this, but unless you are paying the 25 bucks you cannot back up your library to the cloud.
All you can do is back up the items you "purchased" from Apple.

Did you get any help on this? From what I can see from surfing this site, it's a BUG that no one has offered a solution to. It sometimes happens after a 'reset' and going to ITunes does not offer a way to 'set up push notifications'.
