Charts usage on 4.0 EA

Is there any documentation available on how to use the new charts?
Looks like, this great product lacks a great documentation.

The doc set is a work in progress, we're looking to have basic descriptions for each charting type.
In the meantime, I tried to cover the basics here.

SPC Chart Usage in xMII

I have requirement to draw spc chart by doing calculation taking the real time data from r/3.
I able to do the calculations and in the last stpe i have to draw the spc chart. The output of calculation is in the form of xacute query.
I selected as the source for the spc chart. It contains two different values one quantity and date.
date should come in x-axis and qunatity should come in y-axis, this is my requirement. Please let me know how to do this.

Suppose u hv some points below LSL/USL, then u can make a "comment" on that specific point that This point lies beyond LSL/USL.
This comment can be made by this following steps:
Step 1 : Select any inspection data point on the SPC Chart
Step 2 : Right-Click, then go to Upper Chart > Comments
Step 3: Then a popup window (Point Comments) comes up, then user click the Add button to get another smaller popup window (Comment Entry) to write a new comment and click the Add button. The comment entry is shown in the table Point Comments as follows. Then click the Close button
When u hv made a comment, u'll see a red colored small icon on the selected point.
Limitations:
Comments can only be made in simple average chart.
When sub-group size equal to 1 (does not work for bigger size)
Comments entered cannot be deleted, will always be visible when the data point is chosen
If u want to see the collection of comments made by different users, then u can get this by going Query Template Editor > New > SQL Query > Server = Quality Portal and Mode = Query. there u'll find an available table named Comments
Now if u want to analyze over all details of the SPC Chart, u can right-click, then go to Data > Summary Statistics

UI of Graphs and Charts in OA Framework

Hi All,
Charts and Graphs can be added in OA Framework.
However, can these charts & graphs be modified in terms of changing the colors of the graphs and charts.
Say for a Pie Chart, different slices can have different colors?
Is this possible?
If so, then how can this be achieved?

Page View By Day - Administration Menu

Hello,
I have a simple question. In the "administration"->"monitor Activity"->"Page View Analysis"->"Line Chart Usage by Day" what do the red and blue lines mean? They are page event but what's the difference between blue and red events?
I dont know if its the right place to say it but this screen would be more friendly if it had subtitles.

(Don't know if this is documented anywhere: I imported the builder 4350 Oracle APEX Workspace Administration app and looked at the chart series definitions. See +{message:id=9238179}+ )

Recently I am working on a Assignment , where I have to display some Chart which is in the form of Gantt Chart.
Is it possible to use the Gantt chart in SAPUI5 with additional libraries? if yes please elaborate how we can achieve this.
As of now I do not find any hints on Gantt chart usage and I am trying to achieve the same using SAPUI5 Table with CSS /Java Script
1. Is it possible to display a table with X columns out of which first 2 columns must not containt any header
2. Is it possible to display a table without selection column (Removing the first column which is intended for selection)
3. I want to display the table with rows and columns lines upon No Data, currently when Table is displayed with out content it displays without any internal lines which separates columns and rows.
4. Is it possible to fill Entire Column with Single Text value in the middle.
5. I wanted to change the color of one column background.
6. Please let us know is it possible to fill a color in a particular table cell editor according to a value. Suppose the total value of a Cell is 9 , if the value coming from OData Service is like 4.5 then I have to fill the Green Color in the Cell according to Value.
If it is 9 then I want to fill entire cell editor with Green colour
I am trying to achive by various changes in CSS params on chrome but not able to achieve the same.

File system usage report chart generation - automated via reports and email

I have requirement where I have to generate a monthly file system usage chart (just like a tablespace total_mb, used_mb, free_mb....) and mail it directly to the client.....

It's a pretty open-ended question, because a number of things can be causing slow performance. You mention needing to look at ODBC connection performance - I found that using ODBC drivers for iSeries was very slow in the past. You might want to look at using the JDBC driver in the IBM JTOpen Toolkit - it made a big difference for us when we were querying iSeries in the past.
When you refer to "reports" in this thread's title, do you mean reports from ColdFusion Report Builder? Or to just ColdFusion .cfm pages? How complex are these reports? How much information is displayed, especially in tabular form? Just rendering huge HTML tables (as in thousands of rows of data) will often cause browsers to become temporarily unresponsive or hang. If you provide more details, we might better be able to target where the "pain point" really is.

What does the "Internal" value on the ASM Disk Group Usage Chart represent?

In OEM Grid Control, on the Automatic Storage Management Home page there is the Disk Group Usage Chart.
What does the "Internal (GB)" value on this pie chart represent? and how it has been calculated?
On one of our servers it is 13% of available ASM disk capacity.. and on another it is 0%.

Internal space is (Total MB - Free MB) from the @ DiskSpaceUsage - Total MB from the DatabaseDiskSpace usage
It is basically the space occupied by the your DB in the ASM disk space. There are few bugs related to this and need to be refined

What happened to the pie chart that sits in the dock that shows memory usage? I found this very useful in the past, and Mavericks seems to have removed it from the dock options.

The memory pressure is at the bottom of the Memory tab.

My iPhone 5s has no visual voicemail or regular voicemail and data usage is off the charts....

Okay so problem number 1 with my new iPhone 5s is data usage has spiked tremendously. I don't know why this is as for the last 2 years I have had an iPhone 4 and barely ever used 1GB a month. Now with my 2GB allowance I reached 90% used midway through the month. I have turned off the LTE and now have turned off cellular data completely and am only using wifi. I don't understand why my data usage has been so high this month since I am using my phone the same way. Is it the LTE?
My second problem is my phone has no voicemail. It tells me visual voicemail is unavailable and to call my voicemail. Except when I call my voicemail it asks me for a password. I have had my phone number for over 5 years and never had a password and now I can't get into my voicemail. I tried resetting the Network settings, that did not work. I have left my self voicemails and no notification even shows up. I called *86 to create a voicemail and it asks for a password which I never made.
I am EXTREMELY angry with Verizon's service at this point. I can not use my data until next month, and now I can't even receive voicemail messages. If someone could please tell me what is going on I would be appreciative.

To answer your first question, the answer is yes, it is the LTE. Your iPhone 4 could only connect to 3G and so therefore unable to transfer data as quickly as 4G on the 5s. So then you end up using more data than you have before.
And your second question. I am not sure as to why it's asking for a password if it never was before. You can reset your voicemail password if you log into your MyVerizon account. Hope that helps

No I wasn't. To be honest I have essentially given up as even if I can fix it, disk space is cheaper than life is long!
Using the NAS in general is no problem. In fact, once iTunes got beyond the initial working out of what needed to be removed from and copied to the iPod, having all my MP3s on the NAS and copying direct to the iPod was no issue.
Following some sage (and frankly scary!) advice at ilounge (http://forums.ilounge.com/showthread.php?t=163611), I've decided to keep two copies of my MP3s. The fact that my fiendish NAS plan has failed is hurting more than the not-all-that-traumatic reality of duplicating 140GB of files if truth be told!

What is the definition of "All Projects" in P6 EPPM for the Team Usage Charts?

In P6 Professional 8.3, there is a User Preference setting which can be used to define "All Projects" for the Resource Usage Profile. The choices are: All Open, All Closed except What-if, All Closed with Leveling Priority over x. In P6 EPPM 8.3, there are My Preferences settings. In these settings, I see several choices which are also in the P6 Professional User Preferences, but I do not see a way to set the definition of "All Projects". Does this mean that EPPM uses the SAME settings as selected in P6 Professional or does it mean that "All Projects" is not configurable in P6 EPPM? If it is not configurable in P6 EPPM, what is the definition of "All Projects" in P6 EPPM?

Resource details are not getting displayed in gantt chart -- R12 instance

we are working on a scenarior in R12 instance.
when we run a resource constraint plan and navigate to Gantt chart the complete application is getting hanged and it is not Displaying any resource details.
Before 2 days we were able to view the Gantt chart and resource details were populating properly.
Resource Avalability and usage is correct.

In R12 Gantt chart is enhanced to show resource gantt in 3 different view. Res units view,resource hours view and res availability view.
Please do the following and see if it works.
On work bench go to Tools , preferences > set gantt chart preferences. even if u want to leave them as default, uncheck something save., and check again and save.

Need Usage Pattern Report in OBIEE 11g

Hi All,
I have a requirement, where I need to know who logged in, to OBI Application in the last 3 months and who has not. How do I get that? Basing on START_DT in S_NQ_QCCT, I can put a filter with Start Date using BETWEEN RANGE, but since OBIEE logs in only those users who logs in, am not sure how to capture the records for non-logged in users during the same period. I have to report output in a pie chart with the percentages.
Any help would be highly appreciated, since its an urgent need. Thanks in advance.

You need to have all users in some custom table and customize the usage tracking BMM model by using outer joins so that you can see user who are not logged in.
