Charts Without Legend - Still Allocates "Space" for the Legend.
Hello,
I created a charted and am able to disable the legend through chart.setLegendVisible(false); However, when I put my chart into the stage, there is this "blank" area beneath the chart where the legend would normally go.
I tried:
chart.setPrefHeight(###} but all that does it make the graph area of my chart squished and doesn't remove that blank area.
Is there a way to get ride of this space that the chart allocates for the legend?
Thanks.
If you delete photos from your iPad, they will also be deleted from iCloud and you'll lose them. Also, having additional iCloud space won't give you any more space on your device. You can't move any data to iCloud and delete it from your device. All you iCloud data is also on you device, and if you delete it from your device, it is also deleted from iCloud.
One option to free up space for the update is to delete the music from your iPad, then sync it back using iTunes after you update. (You can delete it all by going to Settings>General>Usage, wait for the apps list to open, then tap Music>Edit, then tap next to All Music.)
Also, if you purchsed the iCloud storage upgrade in the last 15 days thinking you chould use it to free up space on your iPad, you can call the Apple online store for your country and get a refund (1-800-MY-APPLE in the U.S. and Canada.)

I tried to download the upgrade, now it won't install and I can not access my documents. It said Vi did not have enough space for the upgrade so I made room but still no luck. If I delete the ap and reinstall I will lose my stuff. Any ideas? It won't open so I can email it to myself.
What upgrade are you trying to install? Your profile shows iOS 5.1.1, which is the current max iOS.

Using SQL Server 2008 R2. Tempdb resides on disks W and X
both of those are 250 GB each. Nothing else resides on these disks. The recovery mode for tempdb is set to Simple and is split in 8 files and one log file. Each of the tempdb file is set for auto growth by 128 MB and max size is unlimited. The log file is
set for auto growth by 10% and max size unlimited.
I get the following error at least once a week while running an ETL:
[SQLSTATE 01003] (Message 8153) Could not allocate space for object '<temporary system object: 335532118192937>' in database 'tempdb' because the 'PRIMARY' filegroup is full. Create disk space by deleting unneeded files, dropping objects in the filegroup,
adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 50000). The step failed.
I have to then shrink the tempdb log and files to create space on the disks.
What is a permanent solution to this problem, I don't want my ETL to break due to TempDB diskspace full.
Thanks in advance.Hi,
Permanent solution would be finding out query which is causing tempdb log file to grow out of proportion and fill it and I would like you to take help of below article
Troubleshooting out of space issue in Tempdb
Please change Autogrowth value for Log file from 10 % to may be 100 M. This is just a tentative value you need to study
growth of tempdb to reach to correct value. You kept 128 MB autogrowth for tempdb data file is this value tentative or you just put it.
Below article can be referred for tempdb details

After Effects error: Unable to allocate space for image buffer
I am having some glitchy issues with After Effects, very inconsistent, but I am getting the error message "After Effects error: unable to Allocate Space for a 7500 x 4500 image buffer. You may be experiencing fragmentation. In the Memory and Multiprocessing Preference dialog box, trying increasing the RAM to leave for other applications, and selecting the Enable Disk Cache option in the Media & Disk Cache Panel".
Pretty straightforward, but I have a brand new 8 core dual 2.25 Mac Pro with 16GB Ram. I have it set to allow other applications to use 7GB, have jockeyed that setting between 1GB and 5GB and still gotten the same error message. Disk Cache is set to 3GB, have pushed it all the up to 7GB and still gotten the same message. I am working in 1080p, but I got the error message with Open GL on, quarter resolution, and wasn't even trying to RAM preview. I also noticed that with a straight 1080p clip .mov animation codec clip, after effects will only RAM preview about 7 seconds. That is without any other layers or effects. I do not have all of my source footage in one folder, I am going to try that next. I am running of a fast internal hard drive that is not they system drive. It also seems like it happens after I have been using the comptuer for awhile. If I restart the problem will usually go away for a little while.
I think that I may have a bigger system error, the computer locked up bad once after I had it for a few weeks and since that happened CS4 has been unstable in general, especially Photoshop and Bridge. My guess is bad RAM, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something with my AE settings. If any one has any input please let me know. Thanks.> I lowered the minimum RAM per core to 1GB, because the Adobe site recommends that as a base setting for andHD project
When you say "the Adobe site recommends", what exactly are you referring to? If you're quoting recommendations written for After Effects on the Adobe website, you're very likely quoting me. And this is what I wrote in the Help document:
"Memory & Multiprocessing preferences":
"The amount of RAM required for each background process varies depending on your system configuration; at least 1 GB per process is recommended. Optimum performance is achieved with computer systems with at least 2 GB of installed RAM per processor core."
This blog post gives essentially the same advice, but with more explicit suggestions.
But, as I say at the bottom of that blog post, if you find that some other settings are working better for you, that's great. Every project and computer system are different. Do what works for you.
> Also, if it is an
dual quad core system, there should be 8 cores, but in the
multi-processer preferences panel it lists CPU's as 16.
The number of "virtual" processors can be double in a system that uses hyperthreading. After Effects doesn't actually treat these as separate processors in this context, though. -
ORA-13193: failed to allocate space for geometry
I am having problems indexing a point layer using Locator in 8.1.6. The errors are:
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-29855: error occurred in the execution of ODCIINDEXCREATE routine
ORA-13200: internal error [ROWID:AAAFs9AADAAAB30AAg] in spatial indexing.
ORA-13206: internal error [] while creating the spatial index
ORA-13193: failed to allocate space for geometry
ORA-06512: at "MDSYS.SDO_INDEX_METHOD", line 7
ORA-06512: at line 1
ORA-06512: at "MDSYS.GEOCODER_HTTP", line 168
ORA-06512: at line 1
The table has 2 columns:
POSTCODE VARCHAR2(9)
LOCATION MDSYS.SDO_GEOMETRY
I loaded the point data with sqlloader rather than geocoding, so this could be the root of my problem, maybe I've missed something obvious:
POSTCODE
LOCATION(SDO_GTYPE, SDO_SRID, SDO_POINT(X, Y, Z), SDO_ELEM_INFO, SDO_ORDINATES)
AB15 8SA
SDO_GEOMETRY(1, NULL, SDO_POINT_TYPE(3858, 8075, NULL), NULL, NULL)
AB15 8SB
SDO_GEOMETRY(1, NULL, SDO_POINT_TYPE(3864, 8077, NULL), NULL, NULL)
AB15 8SD
SDO_GEOMETRY(1, NULL, SDO_POINT_TYPE(3867, 8083, NULL), NULL, NULL)
I am trying to index using the following command, this is when I got the error:
SQL> execute geocoder_http.setup_locator_index('POSTCODE_POINTS', 'LOCATION');
User_sdo_geom_metadata has some metadata inserted with lat/long dimensions. My data is not in lat/long, so I updated this but still get the same error message.
Is it possible to use locator with data that's not in lat/long format?
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks.1) If Locator needs lat/long coordinates, can anyone suggest a good route to convert coordinates for example from British National Grid to lat/long?
2) Are there plans for Locator to be able to use data from other coordinate systems like Spatial can? -
How to allocate space for headers in reports through line size r line count
hi ,
may i know how to allocate space for a header ( we do the same for footer through line-count ( footer space ) ) through line size or line count in reports...
thanks in advance..Hi..,
There is no need to reserve any space for the header. TOP-OF-PAGE can by default allocates the space for the header.
If you still having confusion just go ahead with this link. This is the research on same thing in defferent way.
[Link|lines reservation for TOP-OF-PAGE & END-OF-PAGE;

" unable to allocate space from the buffer cache" Message
Hi
I am trying to delete a large volume or records from a BTREE database. I have used the DB_SET_RANGE with a cursor to locate the desired records. After that the Dbc::get() with DB_NEXT is called. After deleting a considerable amount of records I am receiving a message in the error callback function as "unable to allocate space from the buffer cache".
What might be the reason for such a message.
Regards
NisamNisam,
This means that the cache is full and there are no pages that BDB can evict to make space. Are you running with the default cache size? You can increase the cache size by calling: dbenv->set_cachesize or db->set_cachesize.

Error in "Checking Availabe Space for the DB2 UDB for Unix..." phase
Hello,
We are in the middle of an Upgrade proyect from R/3 4.6C (kernet 4.6D EXT) to ECC 6.0.
As a first step we are doing an Heterogenous System Copy to migrate from servers with HP-UX B11.11/Informix 9.4 to servers with AIX 5.3/DB2 UDB 8.
We already did the database import with no errors. When we are installing R3 4.6C in the target server we are getting u201CMemory Fault (coredump)u201D error in the u201CChecking Availabe Space for the DB2 UDB for Unix, Windows Tablespacesu201D phase.
Any advice will be appreciated.
Best Regards
FranciscoHello Paul,
There is no db2diag.log. We are in the first steps of the installation.

I have an old (first generation) iMac that I still use sometimes for the applications that are on it. I was using it yesterday and unfortunately had a power cut. I went to turn it on today, and nothing at all happens. It's as though no power is getting to it. I've checked the obvious things, changed the fuse, tried different cables, poked paperclips in reset holes, but nothing doing. I wonder if there is anyone who knows what might be wrong. I was hoping to get some of its content transferred soon, but I'm guessing that can't be done if it can't be started up. Many thanks, if you can help
Hello,
>It's as though no power is getting to it.
Would it be correct to assume that no sounds at all can be heard? Also, no lights, not even green or amber at the power button?
>unfortunately had a power cut.
Was it possibly a power cut in connection with a thunderstorm? Any other evidence of higher than normal voltages (light bulbs, et cetera)? Has the line voltage been checked (measured with an appropriate voltmeter/multimeter)?
If necessary, it would be possible to remove the hard drive, and then connect it to an external IDE/ATA to USB adapter (example below). That way you could gain access to files on the hard disk from another computer.

NQSError: 15001 Could not load navigation space for the subject area
Hi gems,
I am creating repository with some subject areas from one of the Old repository which has no errors. New repository is giving error as
nQSError: 15001 Could not load navigation space for the subject area
nQSError: 15004 Internal Error: Missing Functional dependency association for the column
But actual for particular column n OLD Repository it is not giving any error
Can anyone help me why this is giving this error.
Thanks
ManuHi Manu,
Please check if all the columns in the copied subject areas are having links to BMM layer and physical layer columns. If the pulled tables does not have proper joins with other BMM tables, it also will cause load naviagtion error.
While copying the subject area from another RPD you must have missed some objects or joins. Please verify.
Thanks

DPM is out of disk space for the replica
Trying to make a bare metal backup of a phyiscal server running 2008 R2 SP1 . I've checked im not out of space. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the agent, I've manually tried to make the disk allocation larger same error.
DPM is out of disk space for the replica. (ID 58 Details: Internal error code: 0x809909FF)
This is in the event log on the Client machine
The backup operation attempted has failed to start, error code '2155348040' (There is not enough free space on the backup storage location to back up the data.). Please review the event details for a solution, and then rerun the backup operation once
the issue is resolved.
I have several other machines doing bare metal backups they are virtual but I can't see why that would be any different. They have no problems doing this. I have seen hacks on the internet editing xml files to get this to work changing allcritical to "C:".
I'd like an actual fix for this please?Mike quick question. How can I determine which share my particular server is using to backup to? Here is what I get when I try to do a DIR on the folder as system
C:\Windows\system32>whoami
nt authority\system
C:\Windows\system32>dir
\\kdnap-util1\0ae3c77eaab54ea09b0724737a125f48
Access is denied.
C:\Windows\system32>dir
\\kdnap-util1\12068c1992634c92addf44bfbee5cada
Access is denied.
I was just trying to poke around to browse the folder to see which one to back it up to . But with the access denied error this isn't helpful :)
Here is my list of shares
C:\Windows\system32>net view \\kdnap-util1
Shared resources at \\kdnap-util1
I also tried doing a DIR from a server that is backing up correctly on any of those shares listed above after running psexec and I get access denied from them as well so I guess thats normal

Aperture 3 update. Why is there still no eraser for the retouch tool?
Perhaps I'm missing something, but: Why is there still no eraser for the retouch tool?
I realize you can delete retouch strokes, but they are in linear order so you often have to delete useful ones to go far enough back to get the one that you've decided no longer works.
I would rather have the ability to erase strokes back to the original image, much like the way the History Brush works in Photoshop, and indeed the eraser tool works in many other Aperture bricks.
Example, I retouch an eye, and then move on to retouch an ear. Then I decide I don't like the eye brush strokes. In order to remove one stroke on the eye retouch, I have to delete all the successful brush strokes I've made to the ear (i.e. those that came after the stroke I wish to remove from the eye). This is needlessly complicated and inefficient.
Many of other bricks in Aperture have an eraser tool to selectively remove brushstrokes. Why not the retouch tool?
Also, many other bricks in Aperture allow for stacking or layering bricks of the same adjustment with different brush choices. Why not the retouch tool?
Am I missing something? We are just users here. Feature Enhancement requests need to be made via Apple's official approved channel. You can get there from within Aperture by clicking "Aperture➞Provide Aperture Feedback".
Retouching (and cloning) involves not just applying a transformation to the selected pixels, but basing that transformation on _other, non-contiguous_ pixels sampled from the image. This leads me to think that there may be intractable technical problems setting up the kind of workflow you propose.
