I had the same issue. I was refused once and when I did another I got this e-mail saying that:

If the transaction is passed under Paypal, I don't understand why Chatandvision delays the purchase in thie unaccepatable way.......

I also ordered a gift card on Dec 21st... paid via MasterCard and the payment shows on my statement... It's now Jan 13th and I have not received my gift card after repeated contact attempts... my recourse now is to contact Mastercard...

  • Chat and Vision Scam : Bought Skype Gift Card, No ...

    I had bought a Skype Gift Card worth $10.00 from ChatAndVison, and Skype moderators please don't tell me it's got nothing to do with skype since I was redirected from skype.com itself. It's been 4 days, and I still haven't got any email regarding the gift card being sent and payment being verified.
    The only mail I got from them initially was this:

    I tried contacting them over their support by filling up the form, but I haven't heard from them yet and it's been 2 days.
    I sense scam and I simply DO NOT undestand why Skype doesn't have their own shop and relies on this pathetic third party to do the transactions.

  • Chat and Vision won't deliver gift card

    Hi.
    I purchased a Skype gift card on April 12 from Chat and Vision (which I've done before w/o problems). Order WXE-571-32621. I have gone back and forth with them 5 times withouth success, the last time being today.  I can see I am not the only one suffering from the inability of this skype retailer to execute, wish I had visited this section of Skype prior to ordering. Can you help?

  • Gift card voucher ordered on Feb. 14 from Chat and...

    I purchased a gift card on Valentines Day for my computer illiterate boyfriend.  He tried redeeming the voucher but it wasn't working.  I was going to visit his within the next month so I told him that I would do it for him so all he had to do was write the # down.  However, when he went back to the email to get the redemption code to write down the email was gone...When I got there I searched everywhere for it, and it was gone.  Luckily, I printed out my confirmation and sent it to my school email as well because my Skype emails that were sent on my gmail account were also gone.  Anyways I tried dealing with Skype customer service but after telling them my issue they obviously only read the first part because this was their response:

     So my response was:
    I provided you with the confirmation number in my first email which is proof that I paid for the certificates.  I do not have the gift card code, that is what I am trying to get from you.  I do not have a screenshot of the error, he attempted to redeem the code several times, it wasn't working then the next time it was attempted the email was gone which meant the code was gone.  If we had known this was going to happen we would have taken a screenshot. In the future we will remember to take screen shots when dealing with skype.  Is there a phone number I can call to deal with someone directly, it seems as though you did not really read my problem because if you did then you would have known that number one and three are an issue because of the situation.  I don't mean to be rude at all but it is a punch in the face for you to respond with that because it is OBVIOUS you didn't read it.  Can you put my confirmation number in and resend the email out to .......... or credit my debit card.  If you are unable to do that can you please provide me with a phone # so that I can call and speak to someone.  Also, I do believe that his email disappeared because mine did too, but don't worry I have a copy.

    I did have another conversation via email (which also deleted) the Skype customer representative, said that I was basically going to need to take up the issue with ChatandVision because they deal with the gift cards.  He left me to contact ChatandVision, I have no idea WHO within the company would help deal with this issue though.  I tried emailng them but I have no idea what email to use because all the emails I use they are getting kicked back.  I am sending ChatandVision the copy of the receipt that I paid. I also sent Skype the proof of purchase...the confirmation number is actually included.   I don't understand why it is so difficult to look up the confirmation number on the attached copy of my receipt? I don't understand why a valentines day present isn't being delivered.
     Please help me find a simle answer...what is the contact information for ChatandVision?  If you have any other suggestions to my problem..I am all ears.

    I purchased $30US an e-gift card on 15 02 2015  for a friend.Than on 17/02/2015 ireceived email from chat and vision with lie "Brilliant news: Your friend has received your eGift Card.

    I am experiencing the same problem- I purchased a gift card from Chat and Vision, through the Skype offers website on 6th October and expected the order to go through instantly. However, I received an email with the following order code: SO448425, saying that my order was being processed and that it would take up to 2 days. However, it has been 8 days and I have not received any update regarding the order. The recipient has not received the gift card either and we have both been waiting.  I sent Chat and Vision 2 emails but have not received a reply, and I just noticed that many other users have had the same experience. Do you know what's the best way to get through to them and seek a refund? Thanks so much!

    This is really a message for Microsoft. I have in the past attempted to buy prepaid cards from Chat & Vision in repoinse to email offers from Skype. At the end of the transaction I was told my bank had refused payment. My bank confirmed it had authorised payment but the payment was never collected. After several conversations with Chat & Vision I gave up.
    Recently I tried again to buy a gift card wih exactly the same result. Oddly, however within 2 days i received an email from Western Union offering me a discounted gift card for Skype with a link that took me to a Skype log in page. Both the Western Union email and the Skype log in page were absolutely authentic in every detail that i could check.  Nevertheless i declined the invitation to log in and sent the email to Western Union for a check. They replied advising me never to respond to such emails and I have to assume from this that the whole thing was a scam.
    I just think it amazingly coincidental that this "opportunity" arose immediately after my contact with Chat & Vision and one which Microsoft should take seriously and investigate.
    Finally I have tried to find the names of the "selected retailers" that sell Skype Gift Cards in the UK but ot seems they are non existent??

I do not have the order Nr etc so cannot help you in that respect but my email is [Removed for privacy] and i was trying to send an email gift card to [Removed for privacy] if that helps. It is  a transaction I would still like to complete but am concerned that i will have the same problems and that the money may simply disappear. If you can reassure me in that regard i am happy to try again. Perhaps you could remind me of the procedure though, to save me searching the site again? Many thanks and Regards 

  • $ 100 Gift Card - Not Received - Frustrating !

    I upgraded one of my phone - using the TRADEIN Promotion....BASIC to SMARTPHONE.
    I had to call three times and finally speak to supervisor.....to get the textcode.
    After submitting the textcode I received a brown envelope - I did everything mentioned and personally delivered the basic phone to the Post Office.
    Called verizon to verify receipt - they kept telling me they dont have the phone.
    Finally they said that they would give me the $100 gift card in the mail -  this happened on Nov 15th 2011 
    Nov 28th 2011 - No gift card received - Called back again  - was told to wait three weeks - till Dec 7th 2011.   
    Called back again on Dec 7th - was told - the delay could be because of Thanksgiving Weekend -  wait 5 more days
    Today Dec 13th 2011 - No sign of Gift Card.
    I have been a Verizon customer for more than 10 years....
    Verizon should keep its promise  - the way they want their patrons to fulfill the contract.
    This experience is dissappointing and upsetting....

    I purchased a Skype e-gift card on 22 of April.I placed my order with Chat and Vision. MY friend never received her gift card. And yes, she checked e-mail and the junk folder. The amount has been charged and withdrawn from my credit card.
    It's been a week ago. No gift card.
    Next step will be a call to my credit card company. So hopefully someone can help me.

  • Another Report of Gift Card Ordered and Not Receiv...

    Me too !  It was a birthday gift for yesterday.  It now makes no sense to arrive two days late, and just looks like a gift of charity. 
    I was annoyed to have to fill in all my credit card details as skype already has them, and I don't like doing it online to unknown third parties without paypal.  It was a gift from me to a fellow skype user, so should have been a very smooth transaction.    
    It was from Carol ([Removed for privacy]) to Marc ([Removed for privacy]).
    Please contact Chat & Vision and cancel and refund my order.   It is unsettling to discover that they are an online sales and marketing company.

    Hey Skype, 
    I have ordered $10 gift card through your vendor Chat and Vision,.
    48 hours have passed and the recipient still has not received the email. 
    I am looking at her email inbox with her and there's no sign of it.
    This is unacceptable as she needs it urgently to call overseas.
    Please take care of this as we consumers do not have direct access to Chat and Vision Customer Service (or lack thereof)
