Chat & Vision payment not going through

This is really a message for Microsoft. I have in the past attempted to buy prepaid cards from Chat & Vision in repoinse to email offers from Skype. At the end of the transaction I was told my bank had refused payment. My bank confirmed it had authorised payment but the payment was never collected. After several conversations with Chat & Vision I gave up.
Recently I tried again to buy a gift card wih exactly the same result. Oddly, however within 2 days i received an email from Western Union offering me a discounted gift card for Skype with a link that took me to a Skype log in page. Both the Western Union email and the Skype log in page were absolutely authentic in every detail that i could check.  Nevertheless i declined the invitation to log in and sent the email to Western Union for a check. They replied advising me never to respond to such emails and I have to assume from this that the whole thing was a scam.
I just think it amazingly coincidental that this "opportunity" arose immediately after my contact with Chat & Vision and one which Microsoft should take seriously and investigate.
Finally I have tried to find the names of the "selected retailers" that sell Skype Gift Cards in the UK but ot seems they are non existent??

Hi Chat & Vision, thanks for your reply and sorry to take so long to respond. I do not have the order Nr etc so cannot help you in that respect but my email is [Removed for privacy] and i was trying to send an email gift card to [Removed for privacy] if that helps. It is  a transaction I would still like to complete but am concerned that i will have the same problems and that the money may simply disappear. If you can reassure me in that regard i am happy to try again. Perhaps you could remind me of the procedure though, to save me searching the site again? Many thanks and Regards

    I would recommed getting it from a European country or from the UK which has a 220-240V supply. The US bulbs are 110V and i've read some conflicting reports on their compatibility with a 220-240V power supply (India). It turns out to be expensive if you buy it from UK as compared to the US but at least there will be no doubts about it working. You may just be taking a chance plugging a US 110V directly in India but if you already have tried it then please share your experience here.

  • Payment not going through via credit card

    my payment seems to not be going through and my renewal date was yesterday. the card i use works on every monthly payment. and when i went to try and pay, it told me that theres something wrong like "your card or payment provider seems to be having a bad day" is there some maintenance being done?

  • Emails from the organization are not going through ePrint

    Hi,
    I've been having some issues with the ePrint feature that's configured in one of the printers that we have in our office. The printer is a HP LaserJet 200 color MFP M276nw. Every other client from other email addresses such as Hotmail, Gmail or any other address are able to send emails to our ePrint address and are able to print on it successfully. However, all the emails that are being sent from within our organization are not going through. We get an unsuccesful delivery message from the Exchange server stating that 
    The server has tried to deliver this message, without success, and has stopped trying. Please try sending this message again. If the problem continues, contact your helpdesk
    We had checked with our Exchange administrators and they have advised that the email is trying to be sent, but in the destination it is being rejected. How can I get this issue to be addressed?

    Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I understand that your corporate emails are failing when trying to send an email to the Laserjet 200 MFP 276nw printer's ePrint email address.
    Are you getting any messages about the failed messages in your ePrintCenter/HP Connected account?  If so what does the message state about the failed job?

    I noticed that the fax is not going through with your HP Officejet 6700. I am happy to look into this for you!
    What type of phone service do you have? Analog or digital? Analog. Digital. What’s the Difference?
    If the phone service is analog, please see this guide, Cannot Send or Receive Faxes.
    If the phone service is digital, please go to this guide, How to connect your HP Fax Device to an ISDN, ADSL, PBX, or VoIP line. Note: HP fax devices are designed to work with traditional analog phone services. They are not designed to work with digital phone services such as ADSL, PBX, ISDN, or VoIP. While HP fax products are not supported on these types of lines, they might work given appropriate setup and equipment.
    To find out if your phone service is analog or digital please contact your phone provider.

  • Service Account details are not going through header(OSB Business service)

    I have an issue with service account. Assume I have a proxy service A, Business Service B, Proxy service C.
    A invokes B and B invokes C (A --> B --> C). All calls are through http protocol.
    I created a service account with userid and password details and attached it to the Business service B(Static for basic authentication).
    Added log activity in proxy service C for context variable $header to verify whether userid and password are coming through request header or not.
    I executed proxy service A from sbconsole but I couldn't see userid and password details of created service account in the logs. Only nemespace are logged in the file.

    Can someone please help me why service account details are not going through business service request. Am I missing any steps?

    Basic authentication information is stored under transport headers (check $inbound) whereas $header is populated for message headers (for e.g. - SOAP headers), so you should be checking $inbound instead of $header

    There's an article that Apple has acknowledged this issue. They recommend turning off imessages, reset all settings and then reactivate imessages.
    If that doesn't work, you may just have to wait until they release an update, which should be pretty soon.

    Yes, many are experiencing this issue.  A phone reset or going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings resolves the issue.

    You can share MP3, AIFF, WAV, AAC, and radio station links, but you cannot share iTunes Store Audio Books, Audible spoken word content, or QuickTime sound files.

    We don't have any reported issues of call malfunction. (There aren't any "international" calls with Skype). All Skype calls are "local" worldwide including calls from one country to another.
    Please contact customer service

    I am having problems with my tx messages not going through.  some do and some don't

    Do you mean after a phone update? Do you mean just at home? Does it happen everywhere?  Do you have wifi turned on? If its on and your not connecting just clear out the connections (forget) then reset up the connections and see if that helps.  Did you get a Jelly Bean update? Many people have had wifi connections issues because your router is either outdated and not supported with the new os, or it needs a firmware update.  Post back with more information.

    After the 10.6.4 update I've been having trouble with some audio not going through the USB headset.
    Things that refuse to go through the headset:
    * Empty trash noises
    * Skype notification noises
    * iChat alert noises
    Things that are working:
    * Coloquy
    * iTunes
    I've tried toggling the System Preferences obviously. Unplugging speakers and USB headset and plugging back in a number of times (this seemed to fix some things, not others).
    Anyone else having the same issue?
