Hello, just wanted to share some expirience with this company.
So, I ordered a gift card worth $75 xxxxxxxx on Dec. 2d . And missed a letter in recipient address. Typed @gmal.com instead of gmail.com
23 days passed since my order, and 20 since I contacted support for the first time.
Dec. 13th  I got this:
"My apologies if there have been no further updates in your case yet. I have escalated the matter for you this time in hope that this matter will be resolved shortly. We will inform you about any movement as soon as it occurs."
So, in 20 days no to fix such minor issue with digital purchase... this is simply outrageous.
Oh, yeah^ and they took my money almost immediately.
My recomendation to community would be to avoid this seller, for good!
I messed with this purhcase only because they have a promo on skype site.

3 days passed until they sent me a message that card has been delivered.

When on earth are Skype going to drop Chat And Vision as their "Global Sales Partner"?  They are absolutely atrocious and appear to be doing all they can to halt the sales of Skype products.
I ordered a RTX-4088 Dualphone on the 5th of December as a Christmas present, getting an alomsot immediate order confirmation  When it had not arrived by the 20th, I chased it up by email.  After half a dozen mails, they advised calling the phone number to re-order it.
For 1 month, I tried to call them - Option 1 "Sales" perpetually gave a "I am sorry, we are experiencing technical difficulties - Please call back later" recorded message.
Today, I tried option 2 - "Customer Don't Care" - They themselves said you need to speak to sales, and even they themselves couldn't get through.
I am fed up trying to order this damned phone.  Skype themselves seem to have as little care about it as Chat and Vision and trot out some excuse that its a matter for Chat and Vision to sort out. 
In a Live Chat session at the moment with Skype, they have advised;
I really do apologize about it, dear customer. I know that it is frustating to keep on hearing me apologizing, however, as much as I wanted to help you it is already out of my hands. The best I can is to document your case and if possible enough consult this with my Supervisor. Our higher deaprtment are reviewing each case, they will be able to see about this problem and in the future might have get a different, much better supplier that will satisfy our customer, for Skype's products and goods.
I note the reference to them getting a "different, much better supplier" so I guess that Chat and Visions incomptencies have not gone un-noticed by them either.
In the meantime, does any one know where else Skype phones can be bought, aside from this useless bunch?

  • Not authorized to purchase ITunes gift cards from this account.

    I made three purchases of ITunes Gift Certificates and then am told on subsequent purchase attempt that I have to go to an Apple retailer to do this. What is up? Same is true on my spouse's account.

    This problem crops up for people from time to time and no good explanation has ever been given (that I've seen, anyway), though it primarily stems from the time a few months back when a Chinese criminal ring cracked the algorithm used in certificates and issued thousands of counterfeit iTunes gifts. Contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department using the form on their Support page (select the category and subcategory closest to the issue you're reporting and you'll find an "Email Us" button) and explain your situation to them. Perhaps they can help, though it's not unknown for them to just reply "it's not possible, and we can't tell you why it's not".

  • Using gift card for payment in iPhoto?

    Hello. I have some concerns about paying in iPhoto. I want to send some letterpress cards to the United States through iPhoto. I am located in Europe (Bulgaria) and I am registered in the Bulgarian iTunes and App Store. As far as I know you can only pay with credit cards issued by American banks and I don't have one so my only option is to pay through a gift card. Is that a payment option in iPhoto at all? And can I buy an American gift card from ebay, where the seller can email you the card code? Is it a problem to pay with an American gift card from an account that is not registered in the US iTunes and App Store?

With the exception of gift cards, certificates, and iTunes downloads, you can purchase just about anything sold by Apple, including products from both Apple and third-party makers.
    You might be able to select the United States print product store in Apple's Advanced preference pane
    and use an Apple gift card.  This is only a guess.  Maybe someone will pop in who has had experience with it and confirm or deny the premise.

    I'm not sure wether this is the right forum category for this question.
    But...
    I was thinking of buying an iTunes gift card for a friend as a christmas gift. This friend I will not see for a long time therefore I need to buy something online to be sent via email or something, an iTunes gift card seems like a good idea. I am Swedish currently living abroad and this friend of mine is Asian.
    On the US Apple Store page it says quite clearly that if I were to buy a gift card on this US version of the Apple Store I can only use the card on a device with the AppStore or iTunes set to the US (as it states "Valid only on iTunes Store for U.S."). If I buy a gift card on the Swedish version of the Apple Store page it says that I can only use it for iTunes Store set to Sweden. From this I would assume that if I bought let say a $50 gift card on the US Apple Store I can only use this on a device with iTunes set to US, and if I buy the same card on the Swedish Apple Store page then it would be restricted to the Swedish version of iTunes. I have previously bought Swedish ones for myself and they work fine on my Sweden-set iTunes in other countries than Sweden (obviously).
    Now,
    if I go onto the Chinese, Korean or whatever Asian version of the apple store they do not have these gift cards, which leaves me with a bit of a problem... If I bought a $50 gift card on the US version of the Apple Store does it mean that my friend would only be able to use this on an iTunes store set to the US, therefore not on iTunes store set to let say China as I concluded above? If so, how can I resolve this? because I will not see my friend until probably February or much longer, and I would feel very bad not buying my bestie something for christmas... If it is as I say, that iTunes gift cards purchased online (as well as Apple Store gift cards) do not work "internationally" so to speak, are there any suggestions of other Apple related options? or perhaps non-Apple related options?

    Gift cards are not available in all countries. In order to use a US gift card, you must be using the US store. You can not set yourself up to use the US store unless you are physically in the US.
    It was a nice idea, but it's not going to work. Send them money via PayPal or something and let them use it however they want.

  • How do you use an iTunes gift card for in-app purchases?

    My kids received iTunes gift cards for christmas and want to use the $$ towards in-app purchases in Clash of Clans. We've already redeemed the cards to their iTunes accounts. Now they want to use them within the app.
    How do they do this? If they try to purchase something it seems to just go against a credit card, and not give them the option to use the iTunes credit.

    Purchases are always deducted from the credits first.  Look at the menu bar at the top for remaining credit.  My credit is $23.59.

    So yesterday I picked up a 25$ itunes gift card and added it to my itunes account. I was in quite a bit of a hurry (added to my account on my smoke break from work) so I didn't look too closely at the screen. I made a couple of in-app purchases last night with no problem but when I went to make another purchase this morning it wouldn't go through so I looked at my itunes receipts and it appears I was only given 16$ credit for my 25$ gift card. I will admit that this is the first time I have used an itunes gift card but this has to be some kind of error or mistake right?
    After realizing the problem this morning I even went into my itunes account thinking maybe something happened before I put the gift card on my account and somehow I owed itunes money before I entered the gift card but looking at the receipts in the days prior to yesterday show no purchases that weren't paid for.

    You've tried logging out and back into your account to see if your balance then updates, and you are sure that you didn't owe iTunes anything (no pre-orders and/or auto-renewing subscriptions due) ?     I know it's cause it's from Canada I live here, so how do I make it so that my store is Canadian or w/e to fix this problem please help thanks.

    In iTunes, click on iTunes Store and change the country at the bottom of the window, scrolling down as needed.

  • Has anyone returned an iPod for a gift card

    Hi everyone. Apple was kind enough to return my 3 week old refurbished iPod video so I could get a new one. Now I am iPodless! I was planning on getting a new iPod right away when I got my Gift Card. Seel, I bought the iPod using a gift card. Now they are saying it will take 2 weeks to get the gift card! This seems a little crazy to me. Has anyone returned an iPod for a gift card who can tell me how long I should expect it to take? Where do they ship the gift card from? I sent my iPod to somewhere in California, and I live in California. I don't see how it could take more than 2 or 3 days. Maybe I am missing something? The return policy says they send the gift card within 2 days of receiving the iPod. I'm sure someone has done this.

    My family and I have been a VZ customers since we purchased our first cell phones over 12 years ago.  We always buy in to the upgrade program and purchase new phones and all the goodies that come with them like good little consumers.  I have converted numerous AT&T friends and family members to Verizon and this is how I get repaid for my loyalty...
    We upgraded to the new Droid in August and received these email in September.

    I received this email then end of September for only “one” of the phones?
    ..."We have determined that the value of your device matches your appraised value. You will receive your Verizon Wireless Gift Card in the mail within the next three weeks." I received the card in December!
    Now this is the scam/run around I am getting in regard to my second phone we returned... (remember this all started in August 2011!)
    I never received an email, phone, letter or any other correspondence from Verizon regarding the 2nd phone we sent in so I started calling them.
    First call 12/5/11:Verizon… haven’t received phone yet.  I gave them the tracking number as I was tracking it online myself.  It was delivered in September!  Apology for the delay it will be processed and mailed to you tomorrow 12/6/11.           NO CARD, NO EMAIL, NO PHONE CALL.
    Second call 1/11/12 Verizon: it went to the wrong department but we will submit the request and have it mailed out to you with in the next 24 to 48 hours.           NO CARD, NO EMAIL, NO PHONE CALL.
    Third call 1/17/12 Verizon:  (this is now the 5th person I have talked to) I get transferred to “STERLING” a so called “supervisor” in the Trade In Department in Nashville.  I am, again, told the phone was sent to our donation department and so we can not send you the $100 Gift Card!  THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!
    I asked to speak his supervisor, Sterling told me he was the supervisor.  I asked to speak to his superior.  (which I have done on each and every call only to be told some one will call me back with the next 24 to 48 hours and not once did I get a call back from any one at Verizon!) This self-righteous jerk told me it wouldn’t matter who I talked to I won’t get my $100 Gift Card.
    I have had 4 people tell me they are they were sorry for the delay and confusion and one person, named Megan in Nashville, told me that the phone did get sent to the donation department in error but they would honor the $100 gift card anyway.  Ironically the last phone call I made to Verizon on 1/11/12 when I spoke to Megan isn’t on record…hummmm, sounds a little fishy to me.  I get my hands on that recording and ever other one and we’ll just see how “SUPERIOR” Mr. Sterling really is.
    Now, is it just me or did I get totally screwed here?  Believe me, it won’t end here. 
    I WILL GET MY $100 GIFT CARD IF I HAVE TO FLY TO NASHVILLE TO GET IT!!!!!

  • ITunes store won't redeem gift cards!

    I start iTunes; go to iTunes store, click "Redeem", enter a gift card "Activation Code"; Immediately upon hitting Enter/Return I get an iTunes error screen reading "*Your session has timed out. Please start over.*" or some such message. At that point, I can't start over, iTunes is frozen up and I have to quit iTunes completely and restart it to try again. I try again, typing the code CAREFULLY, same thing happens. I quite iTunes, start over, and try a different gift card, same exact message. I'm running OX 10.4.11 with iTunes 8.0.2 on a Powerbook G4. I'm thinking iTunes 8 is not all that compatible with 10.4.11. Any thoughts? What do I do with $65 in gift cards?

    This being a very old thread, you'll probably have better luck getting suggestions if you start a new topic with your issue.
    Without any details as to where things are going wrong for you, it's difficult to offer much advice, but one thing to check is to make sure you're using the correct code. For most iTunes cards, the code is under the scratchoff area on the back of the card. For more information, see their web page If you can't get it to work after perusing that page, use the form at the bottom of the page to contact the iTunes Store customer service group and explain the problem to them.
    This of course presumes you purchased valid iTunes cards from an authorized reseller. There are scams out of China selling counterfeit cards and gift certificates, so if you purchased your cards from a private individual or an unauthorized source such as eBay, you may have counterfeit cards for which you have no recourse.
