Check and modify ISE SNMP comunity

Hi
I have ISE 3315-k9 version 1.1
what is the procedure to view and modify SNMP community
Thanks

For accessing Command Line Interface (CLI) of ISE, we need a different admin account. If no one is able to log into the Cisco ISE system because the administrator password has been lost, forgotten, or compromised, we can only use the Recovery DVD to reset the ISE CLI admin password.
Resetting the Administrator Password for a Cisco ISE Appliance

For SNMP, you can create a new community for ISE and PI under network devices.

  • How to open and modify a internet service.

    I want to modify Internet Service PZ02. I checked in SICf, it is listed under bc/gui/sap/its and is also activated.
    But when i go to SE80 and search for it in Internet Service, i get a message saying "Service PZ18 does not exist, create object? "
    How do i open, get access to code of pz18 and modify it
    Thanks

    Chris-
    Thanks for the reply.
    How do i create the ITS service (service file, template, theme etc..) out of the dynamically generated HR service PZ02.
    Pleae let me know if the following steps are correct
    1. In SE80, Choose Internet service and enter a name like zpz02.
    2. In the pop-up for transaction code enter pz02. Check the box for ITS mixed mode
    3. Then Right click in zpz02, select create->template->
    assign theme=99,
    program number-SAPMPZ02
    screen number=1000
    generating style=webgui
    ( The above informtaion was found out in the following way: go to se93 -> enter pz02 as the transaction code ->
    click display.
    When i did that it displayed the following info
    program : SAPMPZ02
    selection screen: 1000 )
    When i click on save it says that the screen 1000 does not exist in the program SAPMPZ02.
    But from the info that i got from the SE93 it looks like the screen number is 1000??
    What is the mistake ?? Is the approach wrong
    Help will be really appreciated

  • HOWTO: Create a Boot Configuration That Has No Driver Signature Checks. Disable Driver Integrity Checks and Install a Custom Non-Signed Driver

    Hello,
    Recently, I had a task where I needed to install a custom non-signed driver onto my Windows 8 64-bit setup. As it is known, Windows has driver enforcement policies that, as a security measure, do not allow you to install non-signed drivers.
    I did not want to alter my current boot configuration so I decided to create a separate boot entry that would have driver signing policies disabled. For some reason I did not find any good source that would contain a step-by-step instruction on completing
    this task, so I decided that I'd better share my experience here.
    Lastly, there are multiple ways how you could turn off driver enforcement policies, but I find the way to do this via boot manager.
    Here's how you can do that.
    1. Press WindowsKey and type 'cmd' (without quotes) to find Command prompt, then click Command prompt icon. If you have User Account Control turned on, hold Ctrl+Shift keys pressed when clicking the icon.
    This will force Windows to ask you for elevation of command prompt. Elevation is necessary for editing Boot Configuration Database (BCD), the database used by Windows boot manager to store boot settings.
    2. In the User Account Control window click Yes to confirm elevation of command shell.
    3. At the command prompt type
    bcdedit
    to list your BCD entries.
    This will give you an output like:
    Windows Boot Manager
    identifier {bootmgr}
    device partition=\Device\HarddiskVolume2
    path \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\bootmgfw.efi

    The section that starts with Windows Boot Manager lists current settings for the boot menu. Here you find what boot entry is chosen by default, this is the one what you will boot into if you do not select any boot entry in the
    boot menu.
    The following record
    default {current}
    indicates that by default my Windows boots into configuration which I use at the moment (currently booted Windows configuration).
    To find out what exactly is current configuration, look into the list of boot entries, records that contain boot loader configuration and are titled as Windows Boot Loader in the bcdedit output.
    For example, the entry shown above is one of my boot configurations. This is one of the boot entries listed on the boot manager screen when I start my PC and it looks like:
    Windows Boot Loader
    identifier {a329b5d0-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    device vhd=[D:]\win8prowmc01.vhdx

    nx OptIn

    This record has a unique GUID identifier that can be used to reference this boot entry, which is:
    identifier {a329b5d0-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    If we look at the Windows Boot Manager settings, we'll see this entry is the first in order to be displayed in the boot menu on OS start (I marked the unique bits):
    displayorder {a329b5d0-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    {a329b5cc-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    It references my VHD drive, a virtual hard drive where my Windwos 8 setup is residing:
    device vhd=[D:]\win8prowmc01.vhdx
    And it also specifies that the boot manager must use UEFI BIOS extension code to access my Windows boot partition:
    path \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\bootmgfw.efi
    3. Now locate the current boot entry.
    Current boot entry contains boot settings used to boot into Windows configuration to which you are currently booted. It is referenced in the list of boot entries as a Windows Boot Loader record that has the {current} keyword inside and may
    look like:
    Windows Boot Loader
    identifier {current}
    device vhd=[D:]\win8rtm.vhdx
    path \Windows\system32\winload.efi
    description Windows 8 Enterprise RTM

    nx OptIn
    bootmenupolicy Standard
    hypervisorlaunchtype Auto
    Because we are more than happy with current configuration and want to base our new boot configuration on these settings, we need to copy this boot entry ({current}) to a new boot entry.
    This is done by running the following command:
    C:\Windows\system32>bcdedit /copy {current} /d "No Driver Signature Check"
    Parameter /d here indicates that the following sequence of characters specifies the display name for the new boot entry that we are creating. The name inside the double quotes will be displayed in the boot menu when you boot your Windows.
    In other words, if you know restart your system, you'll see the new No Driver Signature Check in the boot menu.
    When copied, the entry is automatically given a new GUID identifier, so upon running the command above, you'll see the following line returned (you'll have an other GUID since these are unique identifiers):
    The entry was successfully copied to {a329b5d8-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}.
    4. Make sure the entry has been successfully created.
    Run the same bcdedit. (You may specify /enum or /v, or both /enum /v parameters at the prompt to get more detail about boot entries, but simple bcdedit is just enough to see the new entry):
    C:\Windows\system32>bcdedit

    The entry has been created and given a unique a329b5d8-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240 ID. It now has exactly same boot settings as the boot entry we used to boot into current configuration of Windows.
    5. Modify created  No Driver Signature Check entry and specify that Windows must have driver integrity checks disabled when booted using this boot entry.
    Any modifications to boot entries are made using /set parameter. To indicate that we modify a specific boot entry, we must specify the GUID for the No Driver Signature Check record, which is:
    identifier {a329b5d8-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    In other words, to edit (add or change) an option for the boot entry, we need to use the following command syntax:
    C:\Windows\system32>bcdedit /set GUID <boot_option> [<option_value>]
    First, we must specify that we don't want integrity checks be made. This is done by adding the loadoptions option and setting it to DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS value:
    C:\Windows\system32>bcdedit /set {a329b5d8-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240} loadopti
    ons DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
    The operation completed successfully.
    6. Verify that load option has been added.
    Run the bcdedit command:
    Windows Boot Loader
    identifier {current}
    device vhd=[D:]\win8rtm.vhdx
    path \Windows\system32\winload.efi
    description Windows 8 Enterprise RTM

    7. Add the option that turns on test signing mode and disables checks of driver signature.
    Adding the testsigning option and setting it to ON does the trick for us:
    C:\Windows\system32>bcdedit /set {a329b5d8-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240} TESTSIGNING ON
    8. Now we have a boot entry that enables Windows not to do integrity checks and digital signature validation.
    We check it by running bcdedit:
    Windows Boot Loader
    identifier {a329b5d8-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    device vhd=[D:]\win8rtm.vhdx
    path \Windows\system32\winload.efi
    description No Driver Signature Check
    locale en-US
    loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
    inherit {bootloadersettings}
    recoverysequence {a329b5c3-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    integrityservices Enable
    recoveryenabled Yes
    testsigning Yes
    isolatedcontext Yes
    allowedinmemorysettings 0x15000075
    osdevice vhd=[D:]\win8rtm.vhdx
    systemroot \Windows
    resumeobject {a329b5c1-fb29-11e1-a74d-f2c962d62240}
    nx OptIn
    bootmenupolicy Standard
    hypervisorlaunchtype Auto
    9. Type 'exit' without quotes to exit from command prompt, and restart Windows.
    Upon booting you will be present with a new boot option to start Windows in configuration that allows you to install custom non-signed drivers.
    Hope this will help anybody to create their own custom boot configurations.

  • Created By field and Modified By field and People Picker field values are hidden to other Users

    Hi,
    We have a strange permission issue in one of the MOSS-2007 server farm. The users are not able to see each other name in "created by" and "modified by" column value in lists and libraries. For example if "User A" create an item in a list then if "User B" opens that item then he cannot see "created by" and "modified by" column value and vice-versa. But they can see their name in "created by" and "modified by" column but not others. Both the users has contribute access to that list, so both can edit each other data but cannot see each other name.
    This become a bigger issue, if any of tje list has people picker column, then thay cannot see that column value(if that column value does not his/her own name). This means this column value will be always empty for "user A" when that peopel picker value is anything other than "User A". This happens for all the lists and libraries.
    Even "User A" and "User B" are owner of that site, it behaves the same. But site collection administrator can see  "created by" and "modified by" for all items for all the users.
    It seems very strange for me. any help on this will be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Sanban

    Hi,
    You can try to create a new standard view, then select “created by” and “modified by” column under columns, next apply this view, finally check the effect.
    Did you customize the permissions of the list or document library? Did you customize the permission of the item? For example, break the permission inheritance form its parents. If so, try to inherit permission from its parents, after that create a new standard view according to the steps above, then check the effect.
    By default, permissions on lists, libraries, folders, items, and documents are inherited from the parent site. However, you can break this inheritance for any securable object at a lower level in the hierarchy by editing the permissions on that securable object (that is, creating a unique permission assignment) . For example, you can edit the permissions for a document library, which breaks the permissions inheritance from the site.
    You can also try to create a new document library, then create a new document with user A, after that log into with user B, check the effect.

  • Deploy to single managed server checked and greyed out while performing upgrade to EPM 11.1.2.4

    Hi Gurus,
    We are trying to upgrade EPM from 11.1.2.2 to EPM 11.1.2.4 and have applied the maintenance release successfully.
    Issue:
    When we are trying to configure EPM 11.1.2.4 and are providing the same Shared Service database details, at the summary screen, we are not able to uncheck the option "Deploy to Single Managed server" which is checked and is greyed out.
    We have tried the following:
    1. We updated the HSS_COMPONENT_PROPERTY_VALUE table  and updated the PROPERTY_NAME "isCompact" to false.
    2. Modified the config.xml file located at EPMSystem/config and epmsystem1/config to remove the property for compactState.
    We are still having the issue where we are not able to uncheck the option for Compact Deployment. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    As it is a maintenance release and it deployed as a single managed server then you will not be able to change the deployment type when applying the maintenance release.
    There is a procedure to change a deployment type from compact to single managed server that I created as an internal document.
    you may want to give it a go but you would need to test this first as this was an in house test that I carried out.
    Hyperion Planning - Version 11.1.2.2.300 and later
    Information in this document applies to any platform.
    Goal
    The scenario:
    EPM system 11.1.2.3 was configured and deployed as a single managed server compact deployment so that only one JVM was used for all products EPMServer0.
    Later on, due to performance issues, the decision was made to go for using a JVM for each product and get rid of the compact deployment.
    The administrator went ahead and redeployed the application servers individually into their own JVM.
    However everytime the webserver is reconfigured, the weblogicCluster entry in the OHS file mod_wl_ohs has 2 servers, one for EPMSserver running on port 9000 and another server running on the product default port (as if it was being load balanced)
    The aim:
    It is clear that initial compact deployment has not been cleared from the EPM environment and the aim in this exercise is to clear the registry and the file system so that the compact deployment is removed fromthe EPMenvironment and we are left with the desired configuration Single JVM deployment for earch web application.
    Solution
    Caution:
    Make sure that you take a backup of the following:
    - TheFoundation Services database schema backup
    - Take a backup of the following folders:
    \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\FOUNDATION1\httpConfig\ohs\config\OHS\ohs_component
    \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\servers
    \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\config\fmwconfig\servers
    Disclaimer:
    This was tested in House and it worked for this specific environment and it may not work for your environment. So the suggestion is to test first in a development environment and make sure that you take the appropriate backups in case it does not go according to plan.
    Use at your own discretion.
    Procedure:
    1- Run the epmsys_registry to generate the Registry report
    2- Search through the report for the word applicationServerDeployment with a corresponding value of configured and take the ObjectID number down for any entry of applicationServerDeployment that has a value of Configured
    i.e:
    Instance Tasks Configuration (INSTANCE_TASKS_CONFIGURATION)
    Object ID:   e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7adf
    3- use the object ID of each entry you have taken down throughout the Registry HTML Report to manually set it back to Pending using the following procedure:
                    Start a command prompt and set the working directory to
                     \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\bin
                    run the command:
                     epmsys_registry.bat updateproperty #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7adf/@applicationServerDeployment=Pending
                    Repeat this command for each ObjectID that has its applicationServerDeployment
                     property set to Configured
    4- rerun the epmsys_registry.bat to generate the Registry HTML report and search for applicationServerDeployment in the newly generated report to make sure that they are all set to Pending and there none missed (very Important).
    5- Search the registry HTML report this time for EPMServer0 which is the default serverName given to the single managed server deployment (there will be multiple entries)
    Take note of the first ObjectID entry in the section header: for example
    WORKSPACE_WEBAPP (WORKSPACE_WEBAPP)
    Object ID:   e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd3
    - Start a command prompt and set the working directory to
                     \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\bin
    - run the command:
                     epmsys_registry.bat view #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd3
    -Note the Parents ID in the output:
    For example:
    Parent 1
    NAME -  WORKSPACE_LWA
    ID -  e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd0
    TYPE -  LOGICAL_WEB_APP
    Parent 2
    NAME -  HOST:BACHVMPS3TR
    ID -  e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7ffe
    TYPE -  HOST
    - Note the single child ID:
    For Example:
    Child 1
    NAME -  WebLogic 10
    ID -  e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7fd6
    TYPE -  APP_SERVER
    Now run the following command to remove the Link between Parent and child:
    epmsys_registry removelink #parentObjectID #childObjectID
    In this example that would translate to:
    To remove the single child1 link to the WORKSPACE_WEBAPP (#e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd3 ):
    epmsys_registry removelink #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd3 #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7fd6
    And do the following To remove the link between WORKSPACE_WEBAPP (#e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd3 ) and Parent1 and Parent2:
    epmsys_registry removelink #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd0
    #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd3
    epmsys_registry removelink #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7ffe
    #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd3
    - Now that the link has been removed, delete the WORKSPACE_WEBAPP component using its ObjectID :
    epmsys_registry deletecomponent #parentObjectID
    In this example:
    epmsys_registry deletecomponent #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd3
    - Delete also the Parent representing the WORKSPACE_LWA
    epmsys_registry deletecomponent #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd0
    Note:So we have now deleted the WEBAPP and LWA for workspace.
    6- Repeat steps in section No 5 for every WEBAPP with EPMServer0
    7- Start the Weblogic admin console and login
    Then go to the left panel and Expand Environment -> Server
    Click on Lock & Edit -> Select EPMServer0 -> click on Delete and confirm
    Activate Changes and Log off
    8- Stop the weblogic admin console server
    9- Go to the following location and delete the folder EPMServer0:
    \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\servers
    Delete also EPMServer0 from the following location:
    \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\config\fmwconfig\servers
    10- Start a command prompt and delete the Windows service that was created for EPMServer0 (if using Microsoft Windows Operating System):
    Right click on the service 'OracleHyperion EPM Server - Java Web Application (epmssystem1)' and get its service name i.e: HyS9EPMServer_FOUNDATION1
    Run the following command: sc delete HyS9EPMServer_FOUNDATION1
    11- Launch the EPMSystem configurator and redeploy the web application server to their own JVM
    12- Go to the following location \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\FOUNDATION1\httpConfig\ohs\config\OHS\ohs_component and rename the file mod_wl_ohs.conf to mod_wl_ohs.conf.old.
    13- Copy the unconfigured mod_wl_ohs.conf file from the location C:\Oracle\Middleware\ohs\ohs\conf to the location \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\FOUNDATION1\httpConfig\ohs\config\OHS\ohs_component
    14- Run the EPM System Configurator again and configure the WebServer to reconfigure the OHS configuration file mod_wl_ohs.conf.
    Once done then open the mod_wl_ohs.conf file and make sure that there are no servers configured with Port 9000.
    15- Start the services and test the workspace

  • How to check who modified a file

    Hi is there any way to check who modified a file on Windows Server 2008? I tried to display the file's attribute on windows explorer, but it doesn't show anything.
    Thanks

    You'll need to setup auditing. This one may help.

  • Userexit to Restrict the VIEW and MODIFY of the Sales Order

    Hello Everybody,
    I need to do the following task.
    I want to restrict to VIEW and MODIFY the sales order for particular sales office or sales group.
    I need  user exit for that.
    Please help me by providing brief information.
    Thanks
    M Rahman

    Hi Rahman
    Instead of changing the DISPLAY and CHANGE status of Sales Order,
    i think it would be better if u make a check at the time of SAVE.
    When the SO is being saved in VA02,check the sales office or sales group
    and then give a error message to the user, saying that he is not authorised to make changes to the
    SO for this particular sales office or sales group.
    For this you can use the inckude MV45AFZZ,and USER EXIT userexit_save_document.
    Sample Code:
    IF SALES_OFFICE EQ 'XYZ'.
    MESSAGE 'Change not possible for this Sales Office' type 'E'.
    ENDIF.

  • Sharepoint Site User name,created by and Modified field issue

    I am being admin of sharepoint site . I have added a user to my sharepoint site from people and groups(Site Action-->Site Settings-->Users and Permissions-->People and Groups). So Now "Created by" and "Modified by" field should
    show My login name(display name) in those fields Right ? But In those field it is showing  user name whom I have added to my sharepoint site. I have added user to my site so My display name should be their  in "created by" and "modified
    by" field. Facing this issue on PROD and UAT.

    Hi Rajshekhar,
    Actually, the users have been added to the site groups or granted with permissions in Site Permissions, then the users will be added to the User Information List of the site collection.
    I recommend to check if the users you added have already been listed in the User Information List.
    If yes, then the Created By and Modified By fields have already been filled with other values.
    Created By field will show the user name who is the first one to add the user to the site and the Modified By field will show the last one who edit the My Settings of that user.
    To access the User Information List, you can type the URL like this:
    http://server/_catalogs/users/detail.aspx.
    Best regards,
    Victoria

  • ICE-transport resets modified and modified by properties

    I am using ICE to transport content between portals during a reinstall/upgrade. For one of my content areas / folder structures the property values for modified and modified by are reset in target portal on import. The modified property is set to todays date, and the modified by property is set to the user who is doing the import (package upload in ICE).
    All other areas / folder structures seem to be behaving nicely, keeping values set in portal from where the export is done.
    The folder structure holds XML-form published items / news.
    Any hints or tips?
    Henning Strand

    Carsten
    For all other repositories than the one mentioned, the original property values are transferred to the new portal. My experience now is that in most cases all properties are indeed transferred, but:
    Scenario:
    We are installing new environments rather than upgrading existing portals. Thereby we have to transfer all of our repositories and content - which we are doing by creating ICE packages which then are uploaded to the new portal 7.
    It was during the initial transfer, when checking through all repositories on our new portal, I saw that this specific folder structure had not been transferred with data for properties modified and modified by.
    Instead of the original property values, the content was presented with modified = import date and modified by = whoever was doing the import.
    Now, interestingly enough, after doing multiple exports and imports of the same folder structure, it seems that the original property values have been transferred.
    I don't like this uncertainty as It's quite critical that all property values are transferred through ICE. Therefore all hints and tips will still be very welcome.

  • DISM "you do not have permissions to mount and modify this image"

    I have tired to mount a vista and 7 WIM to add a service pack, but I keep getting the error "you do not have permissions to mount and modify this image"
    I'm running as administrator I'm running from the waik, I was able to mount with readonly permissions but that not what I need.
    Louis Ramirez

    Thanks Juboori, this solved the issue for me too.
    The odd thing though is that the "Read Only" attribute was NOT ticked in the Right-Click Properties windows but it WAS enabled when checking via a DOS command prompt.
    How to check in DOS:
    "Attrib Install.wim" (you'll see the 'R' attribute is enabled)
    How to disable in DOS
    "Attrib Install.wim -R" (Removes the 'Read Only' attribute)

  • Extract date/time stamp and modifier name from memo field

    I need to extract all date/time stamps and modifier name strings from the Work Log memo field - or conversely, filter out all of the comments after the date/time modifier strings.    I have the string extract but it only extracts the first one.  I need to loop until all are found - how can I do this?  The memo field will look something like this:
    3/5/2009 3:32:05 PM John Doe
    Comments - string can be any length
    3/4/2009 12:35:43 PM John Doe
    Comments - string can be any length
    3/4/2009 12:28:17 PM Jane Dough
    Comments - string can be any length and include date format 2009-06-04 14:20 CST.
    3/4/2009 12:27:47 PM Mary HadaliddleLam
    Comments - string can be any length
    3/4/2009 12:26:55 PM Lamseedivy
    Comments - string can be any length
    3/4/2009 12:15:22 PM Mareseedoes
    Comments - string can be any length.

    Here is a formula that will strip all 'comment' and blank lines and puts the datetime stamp and user names into an array.  You have to manipulate the elements of the array to further separate the datetime stamp and user name if required.
    // Declare two indices
    numbervar i := 1;
    numbervar j := 1;
    // Split each row of the memo field into an array
    // if chr(10) does not work then try with chrw(13) or chr(13)
    stringvar array x := split({Sheet1_.Comments},chr(10));
    // Declare a holding array
    stringvar array y;
    // Declare the size of the new array to be equal to the elements in array 1
    redim y[ubound(x)];
    // Copy only if the first word of each element of array 1 is neither "comments" nor a blank line
    for i := 1 to ubound(x) do
    if split(x<i>) = 'comments' or x<i> = '' then
    else
    (y[j] := x<i>;
    j := j + 1;
    // Compress the new array to eliminate the last blank element
    redim preserve y[j-1];
    // Joining the elements of the new array and the number of elements for display
    join(y,chrw(13)) & chrw(13) & ubound(y);
    With your example, this formula will return:
    3/5/2009 3:32:05 PM John Doe
    3/4/2009 12:35:43 PM John Doe
    3/4/2009 12:28:17 PM Jane Dough
    3/4/2009 12:27:47 PM Mary HadaliddleLam
    3/4/2009 12:26:55 PM Lamseedivy
    3/4/2009 12:15:22 PM Mareseedoes
    6.00
    Make sure the "can grow" option is checked to display the results and also check for case sensitivity of "comments".
