i need help on the following issue:
where i can check data of report in R/3.
Inventory Management --> Stock Overview: Materials Shift Consumption report, i tried using MCRP t-code in ECC but it shows only the drilldown data,
i need to compare the shift consumption data with ecc and production system any t-code or pointer will be helpful
any suggestion/help will be helpful.

In my scenario , i have to convert incoming purchase order to sales order in my system . I am able to get message from partner and idoc is created to the message bt it contains error,

related to this I had gone through note 388120 - Transfer of conditions and terms of payment.
which says that i have to maintain tht entry in SMME tcode.
My confusion here is, while I tested same scenario in development , and quality server , it was not giving any such error bt in prod system i m gettin this error.
Also if some one knows more details abt this note ,let me know.

How to check data in the cube

for integration purpose, how can you go and check data in the cube and validate it against the query data ? i know we can go to corresponded infocube and right click "display data" but what's on the query is not available when i execute "display data"

You can always use the similar set of Restrictions as used in RKF and get the value very close to what RKF is displaying.
But getting the same values in CKF is a bit tough..I can suggest may be you can take few/1-2 examples and do the calculations manually and compare the query result and Infocube data.

Report designer - Check Data Provider button missing

Hi,
We are in Bi 7.0 Sp 17. I found out that reports designer with hierarchies don't offer the 'check data provider' button- In field catalog, over the query, right button. If report has a fixed structure button appears...
I need it to refresh the dataprovider with new filter values set in the query
Have you noticed this? Do you think it's a bug in report designer or can it be my sapgui version?

Hi Ruben,
I think I am correct in the following, it is my understanding that the Check Data Provider button only works on fixed (Static) structures not dynamic characteristics. Therefore if you add in additional characteristics (dynamic) after you have inserted the dataprovider into the report designer then you will not be able to use the Check Data Provider button.

Error: 0271: Real Time Clock Error - Check Date and Time settings.

Hello all,
I have lenovo T430s laptop that is configured with Bitlocker encruptions and TPM PIN entry. I don't think that has anything to do with the error msg I am getting but here it is. Error: 0271: Real Time Clock Error - Check Date and Time settings.
Press Esc to continue or F1 to enter setup. I am unable to get into BIOS or even the login screen for Windows 7.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks to everyone for the help. Just want to close this out. I had a IBM/Lenovo technician here today and he replaced the CMOS battery. Upon the change, the computer is fine being reconnected to the dock (the three times I tried it). So it has been resolved with the battery. Surprised by the incompatibility claim because I am not having issues now. Wondering if it's just a USB 2.0 vs. 3.0 thing (and Lenovo trying to sell more peripherals, of course).

Check Data Values, Generates Navigation Data steps taking more time

Hi,
In the Masterdata load to 0MAT_PLANT
The step - "Updating attributes for InfoObject 0MAT_PLANT" used to take a Maximum if 23 minutes for a data package size of 100,000 records till three days ago with the constituent steps "Check Data Values","Process Time-Independent Attributes" and "Generates Navigation Data" taking 5,4 and 12 minutes respectively.
For the last three days the step "Updating attributes for InfoObject 0MAT_PLANT" is taking 58-60 minutes for the same for data package size of 100,000 records with the constituent steps "Check Data Values","Process Time-Independent Attributes" and "Generates Navigation Data" taking 12,14 and 22 minutes respectively.
Can anyone please explain what is needed to speeden the dataload back to its previous timing e.g. if tables indexes need to built for 'P' or 'SID' table of Mat_plant.
An explanation of why the delay could be happening in the above steps will be really great.

Hi Kulmohan Singh,
I think there may be a difference between the first update and second update is the 100,000 records is
already in your 0MAT_PLANT.
If you update the 0MAT_PLANT in twice, The Modify statement should loop the Q table of
0MAT_PLANT that was already have the 100,000 records in it,so the upload speed was slowly.

Withholding infotype 210 using check date

Currently USTAX using Checkdate to determine IT0210 information ,how do we change this to period begindate/end date.
example we have an employee who wants to change the excemptios based on apyperiod but system taking check date instead of period begindate for fed tax calculation.
Please let me know how do i configure the dates?

check the value coming on the screens are properly.Use DIALOG_MODE as foreground and check whether all fields getting populated.

How to check data in physical standby database?

I'm maintaining physical standby database system. everyday, i must check tranfer and apply progress. I known, it operate very good. No archive gap is found.
But i want to check data in physical standby database that there is consistant with primary database, there isn't? What method do I use? How to do?

Once you create the physical standby database and set up log transport services, you may want verify that database modifications are being successfully shipped from the primary database to the standby database.
To see the new archived redo logs that were received on the standby database, you should first identify the existing archived redo logs on the standby database, archive a few logs on the primary database, and then check the standby database again. The following steps show how to perform these tasks.
Step 1 Identify the existing archived redo logs.
On the standby database, query the V$ARCHIVED_LOG view to identify existing archived redo logs. For example:
SQL> SELECT SEQUENCE#, FIRST_TIME, NEXT_TIME
2 FROM V$ARCHIVED_LOG ORDER BY SEQUENCE#;

Help! Check data in MS Excel file(JDBC-ODBC)

I wrote a program that can check data in MS Excel file.
User can input a sentence like "1->2" ,"1->3" (one determine one), then the program can find the data which violate the integrity constrains(functional dependency).For example, if we have the functional dependency "TSeq_gi->TSeq_accver", the program looks for two or more tuples with the same "TSeq_gi" value but the different "TSeq_accver" value in Excel file. These tuples violate the integrity constraint. But now,I can't figure out how to modify this program to multiple determine one. (like 1 3->5 or 1 3 4 5->7) . 1 3 ->5 means: look for 1 and 3 have same value but 5 different. I get stuck. Can some experts help me?

Oracle Alert - Last Checked Date

The Oracle user guide states "In the Last Checked field, Oracle Alert displays the last date that this exception condition was checked, if it has been checked.
I have a few Qs:
1. Is the Last Checked date field only updated if a scheduled (e.g. set to run every day) periodic alert is successfully run?
2. Will it be updated if the alert runs successfully but does not send email as no data meets the alert condition?
3. It appears to me that this field is not updated if a periodic alert with frequency of On Demand is run manually by clicking the Run button. Is this correct?
4. If 3 is correct, is there anyway of finding out when an On Demand alert was run and by who? If not via the apps then a script.

I am using :DATE_LAST_CHECKED in the SQL statement in Oracle Alert Manager while creating an alert. I was wondering how the :DATE_LAST_CHECKED gets populated during runtime.

PC Suite 7 – Data transfer not possible. Check dat...

When I try to use (open, update, modify etc.) the “contacts list” in PC suite version 7.0.7, I always have the following error: “Data transfer not possible. Check data connection”. Instead the SMS list works fine. My phone is Nokia 6267.
Anyone has a solution?

Hi everyone,
I had the same problem for months with many PC Suite versions & both XP service packs until I tried a phone setting just for testing and everything worked out fine In my phone (3110c) under Settings / Connectivity / Data Transfer / PC Sync, I filled in a random User name & Password and voila!!! All contacts copied just fine!!! I hope this works with other models with the same menu as well. It looks that it's not a PC Suite problem after all (at least for me that is).

Fairly general question.
A check instruction can have av. check first and alloc check next and vice versa.. with no apparent difference in results of the confirmed quantity in either case. (unless we bring in rules and remaning requirement logic that I am not at the moment).
There is small and sensible requirement.
I want to confirm a sales requirement against remaining allocation at a different date vis-a-vis actual availability check date (mbdat) against ATP quantity. For simplicity assume there is no b/w and f/w consumption in allocation design.
SAP help says this is controllable such in standard. but I want to know what could be the possible side effects and any other possible interpretation of such a design...keeping in mind this is change on top of live system where pre-sales and sales documents consume allocations without a strong concept of scheduling (within the check framework). Could this have any bearing on the order of check steps i.e. if I want to check allocations at a date earlier than material availability date, should Allocation check be the first step. I need to set up a hell lot to verify all this. help.com has no such re-assuring statement that I could locate.Hence looking for first cut answers from your experiences.
Business context: I want to check remaining allocated quantity on "scheduled" goods issue date as opposed to material availability date which is scheduled backwards from customer requested date. The reason being the customer has been promised a certain shipping date based on a auction he won. This means that being able to meet shipping date is more important than being able to meet scheduled delivery date. This is true of not all sales scenarios but only some. Moreover we take allocations seriously because that is the very basis for production planning from the limited raw materials from nature

I don't really understand most of what you have asked. You have stated it all as theory and not given any concrete examples of how you would like the system to react under various scenarios. However, I will answer as many questions as I can.

???? provided you already have a working SCM product check configured, and provided you do not have to create a custom characteristics, you can set up and test a single sequence combination alloc/product check ATP in less than a working day. Once set up, you can switch the allocation/product check sequence in your check instructions in seconds. The total amount of work will be the same, regardless of which sequence you end up using. This is work you will have to do anyway to implement allocation. If you check your planning area directly during development, you can vastly reduce the amount of time you spend on testing your theories. In a day you will have created 90% of the final solution, and you will have tested multiple theories and scenarios. The only wasted effort would be if you decided to abandon allocation altogether.

There is nothing inherently right or wrong in using any of the 3 dates (MAD/GID/DelivDat). When you are setting up your allocation quantities, you need to set them up in terms of the date within the sales order that you will be checking. All the dates in your planning book will represent one of the three dates, as configured in your allocation group.
The most common reason to implement allocation is that order entry is expected to be far in excess of capacity. Under these conditions, when I set up allocation, I usually set up Allocation first, then product check. I do this mostly to limit system load during backorder processing, since in most allocation situations, more orders will fail allocation check than will fail product check. The product check on these orders never gets executed.
