i bought it 14 days ago and seller said to me you can check and active your warranty with your serial number
i cash 100 $ for one year warranty of exchange

Who did you give $100 to? There is no need to pay for warranty. The warranty goes with the serial number, not the person.
If you are not able to register it online, that usually means that Apple does not have a record of the sale or it has been too long since it was recorded (Apple starts the warranty registration automatically at time of shipment to a store or sale to a person). That happens if one person or a store buy it and then it takes a while before they sell it - that means you need to show Apple that you bought it new. That works if you bought it from a store (reseller); if you buy it from a private person and it has been too long since that person bought it (and the warranty has expired), there is nothing you can do.
Take it to an Apple store and bring your purchase receipt (bill) with you.

So I bought my x230 off of ebay, and apparently it has a 3 year limited warranty... but I do not know whether it has a warranty for the screen?
My laptop tumbled a foot off the ground (it slid from the edge of the bathtub, where I placed it while I washed my hands", partly open, and tumbled onto a bathroom scale, which was only a foot below...
I was seriously annoyed, because I bought this laptop under the premise that thinkpads were indestructable, and yet a little bump and tumble cracked the screen. Fall from the table? I could understand. Slide on to the floor from a foot high ledge and crack? that sort of breaks my conception of its legendary sturdiness. Huh...
Anyways, I'm on ubuntu, and I want to know if:
A: My limited warranty can do anything for me in regards to this,
and
B: Whether or not I have a screen warranty for little drops. How do I check this?

Also a word of warning to lenovo designers: In the developer community, you are losing popularity because of the choices you have been making in regards to design recently. For my part, I want a utilitarian laptop, with my blue enter keys, lots of keyboard functional buttons, clean black plain design, durability and battery life at the cost fatness, and not a carbon copy of generic acer toshiba cheapo plasticy junk.

If your system is under warranty and is having accidental damage protection plan along with it, you may contact Lenovo Technical Support to get it fixed.
Click here to check your warranty status.
Otherwise, you’ll have to visit the nearest Lenovo authorized service center and get your screen replaced on a chargeable basis. Sorry about that.

How can I check for spyware on my Intel based mid-2007 iMac running Lion?
I recently received a message stating that my Intel based iMac desktop may contain spyware plus a friend sent me a copy of an email to my iCloud email address that i did not send to him, i was not even home using my iMac on that date. I do have anti-virus software on my iMac from Integra and I do a scan each day before i shutdown the iMac and have not received any such warnings from that software.
I do appreciate any and all advise I can receive in this matter. A long time ago I did receive an email a Yahoo based email address and was notified that I could possibly loose my email account due to junk email being sent from my iMac. I did have the support/warranty from Apple at that time and a phone rep did talk me through steps to check for any intrusion to my iMac with negative results, the iMac was clear of any spyware, etc.
Hoping there is the same for this issue.You can't use a specific Mac OS X disc for a Mac with a different computer. First, call Apple and buy Mac OS X Snow Leopard > http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57 Then, make a backup, insert the DVD and upgrade OS X. Finally, open > Software Update and install the most recent version

What do you think you could see if you managed to snake an endoscope into the device? There are almost no moving parts and the ones that do move are mostly switches that are visible from the outside. The vibrator is kinda obvious when it fails.
The gyroscope technically moves, but that is encased inside a chip.

Number Range for Warranty Claims
Dear Experts,
I am trying to work out with SAP warranty claim processing, I dont have any idea of warranty claim processing provided in SAP, I have gone through the SAP library and Best Practices, and trying to go through.
But I strucked up @ the initial stage itself. I have assigned my username through the T Code WTY_UPROF, then trying to create a warranty claim through T Code WTY.
I have mentioned the warranty claim type as precediting then clicked on create warranty claim. system is giving a message : "For object WTY_CLAIM , number range interval does not exist".
Then I tried entering an external number WTY1 then clicked on create, this time system giving another message " Number WTY1 lies outside number range validity area"
When I go through the help of the system message it is as follows:

Diagnosis
The database table NRIV has the delivery class 'C', i.e. the SAP default settings are only in client 000.
Procedure
Create the missing number range interval in customizing.

System is not even giving the T code for proceeding further.
I have checked in SPRO for warranty claims number range, but couldn't find it out.
Please help me in this regard.
Where should I make the settings?? And What all other settings to be done for Warranty Claim Processing, creating, processing and Completing.
Please give me in detail information if possible.

When I click on help of the error message it is as follows

Diagnosis
The system has identified an inconsistency in the tables for number range maintenance.
System Response
Program termination.
Procedure
In most cases, you can overcome this by executing the report RSSNR0T1 (Consistency check and repair of number range intervals). This report lists the inconsistencies and eliminates them (with F11 = "Confirm").
Why this message is coming?? and what is the solution for that?? Is there any config missing for that??

IS-Auto Warranty - How to delete a version and check the warranty result.
I need to implement warranty for an OEM. The scenario is that dealers of the OEM should place warranty claims on the web and it should get automatically validated. The requirement is of post-crediting. I want to use vehicle VIN number (Object type VELO) as object for warranty claim. I have created VIN number, subsequently created equipment for this VIN using standard actions, assigned master warranty and measuring point to the VIN.
Now while trying to create warranty claim, I'm facing problem and need few clarifications,
a) Should I maintain the usage of the vehicle in Kilomenters under version specific measuring details or at object level? I need to check warranty of the vehicle.
b) After recording measurement document at object level, I run the action 'S003', but nothing happended. how can I check the status of warranty now? System should update the warranty status automatically but it is not happening. Please guide.
c) How can we set the system so that warranty is checked automatically as soon as the claimant enters the warranty claim. Currently, I have to manually run the action S003.
d) After copying the 'version from claimant' to 'verison to reimburser', If we notice some mistake, can the second verison be deleted? How can we handle this situation?
e) If the dealer wants to mention the part price and the applicable tax in the warranty claim document, where can he enter the tax code/ tax percentage?

There is a problem with my iphone5 recently which I bought last year. i checked the expiration time for repairing which is 30 October 2013. But the problem is that the nearest time for making reservation is also on 30th October 2013. As a result, I made a reservation of genius bar on 30th October. The right channel of my Creative EP-830 headphones doesn't work anymore and since I bought it only 8 months ago (in a Dutch store: www.bol.com), I want to claim my warranty. However, I don't have the packaging anymore and thus I also don't have any serial number. And for some ridiculous reason Creative has seemingly set up its site such that it is impossible to contact them through e-mail or phone without a serial number.
How can I contact them to claim my warranty in the Netherlands? I have not been able to find any phone number on the website, and every time I get to an e-mail form to contact them it wants the serial number of my headphones, which I don't have.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially since this is not the first time I'm having broken Creative headphones within the warranty period.

Validate purchase for warranty
Hey guys. I bought my macbook pro early this year. It is a late 2013 w retina display. Guess what, I have yet to register my mbp for warranty. I've heard that it is okay to not register, just need to visit https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do and check. So, I did visit the website. When I inserted my serial number in, it says that apple is unable to provide info about my service coverage. They states that i need to sign in my apple id and provide my product's date of purchase. I pressed continue and sign in. But the problem is it goes back to the very first page where i need to insert my serial number. I did the whole process again. And again, i press continue to validate my purchase date, it goes back to the first page. Can somebody help me please? My laptop is facing a few difficulties and i need send it for repair.
Well, Apple's policy is that the warranty is automatically started when the product is shipped to the retailer; when you buy it, the warranty is "restarted" so to speak - if you buy it at an Apple store, that process is automatic. If you buy it at a reseller, you have to do it. Since your warranty has almost expired, I'd suggest you take it to your nearest Genius Bar along with your receipt - they can initiate the troubleshooting and authenticate it your purchase all at the same time.

Warranty claims can only be made in the country of purchase.
Try resetting your iPhone. Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.
If that does not fix it, check Settings > General > Usage and make sure you have enough free storage.
