Check in MIGO for the excise tab
Hello Guru's,
We are trying to put the check for the Sub Transaction type in MIGO. As we capture and post Excise in MIGO itself.
We have tried but none of the Excise CIN exits are firing in the MIGO transaction.
Can anyone please suggest any BADI or exit which you have used for Excise and which fires in MIGO transaction.
Thanks in advance,
Sam

Additional tab item level on MIGO supresses the excise tab at item level
Hello Experts,
I have used MB_MIGO_BADI to add an additional tab at item level. It is working properly.
But now Iam facing a problem the additional tab supresses the excise tab that comes up dynamically at the item level,.
Now how do i reslove this problem.
Since excise details are entered later and the tab comes up dynamically my tab should not supress the excise tab at item level
it should come after the excise tab.
Now do I set this.
Please help . highly appreciated.
Regards,
Ranjith NHi Balu,
Thanks for your reply.
I dint get you what you have explained.
Hope you are clear with my problem.
I have created a subscreen 'ZMIGOITEM' with screen number '9000'.
In the PBO of BADI MB_MIGO_BADI I have displayed this subscreen.
This is getting displayed at item level when I call Tcode 'MIGO'.
After fillin up the details for performing GR..and when I check it it gives me a warning to fill in the excise details when I fill in the excise details at header level and check as per the standards an excise tab at item level should come up right ?
Since i have added a additional tab the excise tab doesn't come up....the additional tab supress it ...

Need to capture the excise for the excise tab missing item in GR
Hi Masters
Our users has done MIGO with one line item(for Material A) with excise item tab and other line item(fro MAterial B) without excise item tab(non availability of Chapter ID).
They are able to capture excise in J1IEX for the first item only with the help of GR document.
But they want to capture the excise for the second line item?
When we process the same GR document in J1IEX once again it shows error that documeny has been already processed.
How to resolve this?
Regards
Mohanraj.CHi,
If u have done only GR for Both materials then Cancel ur GR and Post it again.
And if you have Done J1iex for first material then Cancel GR first then Cancel Excise Invoice.
Now to cancel Excise Invoice follow the path as
From the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics ® Materials Management ® Inventory Management ® Goods Movement ® Goods Movement (MIGO).
In the top line:
Select Cancellation.
Select Material document.
Enter the number of the goods receipt that you want to cancel
Choose .
Flag all of the line items as OK.
Save the reversal document.
Reversing CENVAT Postings
From the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Indirect Taxes ® Procurement ® Excise Invoice ® Incoming Excise Invoices ® Individual Processing ® Change/Display/Post/Cancel.
In the top line:
Select Post CENVAT.
Select Vendor Excise Invoice.
Enter the excise invoice number.
Choose .
Choose Simulate CENVAT.
A dialog box appears, showing which postings the system will make to reverse the CENVAT.
To close the dialog box, choose .
Choose Post CENVAT.
Canceling Excise Invoices
From the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Indirect Taxes ® Procurement ® Excise Invoice ® Incoming Excise Invoices ® Individual Processing ® Change/Display/Post/Cancel.
In the top line:
Select Cancel.
Select Vendor Excise Invoice.
Enter the excise invoice number.
Choose .
Save the excise invoice
if Not solved then please specify that is error by system.

Maintain Vendor for the excise invoice
Dear Guru's,
While creating goods receipt (In STO Process), I am facing the following error,
"Maintain Vendor for the excise invoice"
How to solve this one.
Regards,
CSHi CS,
Check whether you had maintained the vendor(supplying plant) in J1ID and also check whether excise indicator 1 is there.
And also check whether vendor (supplying plant ) is linked with customer in vendor master in Account control tab and also check whether vendor master (supplying plant) is linked to your customer master in control data ....
Hope this will serve you..

>Vendor Excise Details ( Check the Excise Indicator) as 1
>Check the tax code assigned
Please maintain and let me know.

Below are the steps / settings I have done,
01. Copied TAXINJ to create tax procedure say ZAXINJ and assigned to country IN.
- Please confirm what needs to be AltCty & AltCBV for JMO1, JMOD, JMOP ?
02. Excise defaults maintained as per TAXINJ for ZAXINJ.
03. Acces sequenece maintained for JMO1, JMOP, JMOD is MWST - Tax code.
04. Then created Tax code say T1 - and % maintained as below
JMO1 - 100 %
JMOP - 100 %\
05. J1ID - maintained for vendor, plant, material etc.
05. Excise rate maintained in J1ID for chapter ID as 14 %.
06. Chapter ID maintained in material master.
07. PO created for the material with tax code T1 for the said vendor.
Still while GRN message comes "BED, AED & SED for the excise item is ZERO" and BED is not getting populated for BED.
Please confirm where I went.
Waiting eagerly for the valuabale inputs..

SVHi SV,
Please check the below auth objects, If I understood your issue correctly you can restrict the usage of characteristics through the below objects. Please check the SAP help on these, it has very useful information about characteristics and org areas.
C_TCLS_BER Authorization for Org. Areas in Classification System
C_TCLS_MNT Authorization for Characteristics of Org. Area

Why does a box appear under the pointer with words for the last tab clicked on?
When I am searching for something I get to a site and the pointer can be anywhere and then a small box appears under the pointer with words for the last tab clicked on. If I move the pointer the box disappears and then reappears at the new location. How can I stop that from happening??

Error in "Checking Availabe Space for the DB2 UDB for Unix..." phase
Hello,
We are in the middle of an Upgrade proyect from R/3 4.6C (kernet 4.6D EXT) to ECC 6.0.
As a first step we are doing an Heterogenous System Copy to migrate from servers with HP-UX B11.11/Informix 9.4 to servers with AIX 5.3/DB2 UDB 8.
We already did the database import with no errors. When we are installing R3 4.6C in the target server we are getting u201CMemory Fault (coredump)u201D error in the u201CChecking Availabe Space for the DB2 UDB for Unix, Windows Tablespacesu201D phase.
Any advice will be appreciated.
