Check overflow on another printer

Hi All,
I'm working on the check printing program in transaction F110 and program RFFOUS_C. Is there a way that the 1st page be printed on 1 printer and the overflow on another printer? The check preprinted form is in 1 printer and the plain paper in another printer.
Please help.

The file that have a name that begins with "c" are control files. They contain the specific printer settings etc that are to be used. They do not contain any document data.
The files that begin with "d" should be PDF files. You should be able to add the .pdf extension to the filename and open with Preview. You will most likely have to change the ownership and permissions of the files to work with them.

Our customer is on SAP2007A SP01 PL07, SQL2005, US localization. They don't have 3rd party add-on up and running when they print the checks. I have their database restored on PL08.
Administration >> System Initialization >> Print Preferences >> Per document >>
Print on: Check stock >> Overflow Blank Paper >> Maximum lines 10
Then if the check has more than 10 lines of invoices, SAP will print it on a blank paper.
However, the system print 12 lines on the blank paper ( < 1/2 of the paper) and go to the next page. How can we let the system print the invoice info on one page (One paper looks like could have over 40 lines).
I also reproduced this on SBODemo DB. May I have someone try it? Before I log SAP a tech support message, we would like to make sure if this is a SAP behavior.

Dear all,
I did more test today in their database.
1) Use stub-check-stub (system) PLD: Overflow is 12 lines per page (1/3 of the page)
2) Use stub-stub-check PLD: Overflow is 32 lines per page (2/3 of the page)
3) Use No stub-stub-check PLD: Overflow is 34 lines per page (2/3 of the page)
4) Use long stub-check PLD: Overflow is 30 lines per page (2/3 of the page)
5) Use check-stub-stub: Overflow is 48 lines per page (full page)
It looks like only check-stub-stub can print overflow invoices info on the full page. Other PLDs can only print overflow invoices info on the stubs. This can be reproduced on CA and US databases.
Is this a system behavior or a bug? If I cannot have an answer here, whom should I speak to? Thanks.

Sometimes I get an “Unable to Connect” error and sometimes I get “1 document in printer queue”. No matter what printer I choose after I try to go to Adobe, I cannot connect to a printer. The only solution I have come up with is a clean reboot which I can't afford to do 4-5 times a day.
Currently on Acrobat XI Pro 11.0.09

The first step I would try is delete the Adobe pdf printer and then repair Acrobat.
Repairing Acrobat will bring back the pdf printer. We released an update yesterday i.e. 11.0.10. try updating to the latest version and check.
Have you tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling it.
You might also want to check the performance in a new admin user account.

How to check-in the files checked out by another user

We are using NWDI for checking out and checking in the code.one of the developers checked out some files and left the company.so when I am trying to change the same files it says files are already checked out by another user and we dont have any idea of his password or his system where he has done the changes .
how do we check in his files and start working on the same files without any problem

How to check reprint option when printing program

Hi Expert,
I have to check reprint or original print(first print) when same document is print using smartforms.
for ex- if production 1000181 is printing for first time them 'Original Print' should be displyed on print preview and when same document no i.e.- 1000181 printing for second time or more than that then 'Reprint' should be displayed on print preview.

Setting text to overflow into another text component in flex

This was pretty easy when I've done it in html but I can't find any info on how to incorporate this into flex. I want to get this sort of thing into my app where once the text reaches the bottom it wraps underneath the bottom of the left hand image the way it does in the top product here in this html site:-

I've tried to emulate this and I have a top left container containing all my images which is within a hbox and also within this hbox on the right is my text. The text box has it's height and width set to 100 so it takes up 100% of the h box height wise and the remainder of the width left over from the product image which resizes based on what product is selected. The maxHeight of the h box is set to 400 (my images only go up to this size) but what I want is when the textbox exceeds this it will 'overflow' into another text box below the image/text like in that example. I have no clue how to implement this though.
Can anyone help me out?

page1_txt, page2_txt, page3_txt (replacing test_txt and rest_txt)
and so on. And I can see how it works for the text string, but how
do I import an external text file to replace the string?

Do I network or buy another printer?

Hi all,
Here's the problem: We have an old iMac from which I poached the printer (Epson USB Stylus Color 880) to go with one of my Beiges. But the user of the iMac (venerable spouse) would like to use a printer occasionally.
The iMac is in a small office across a large, open living area from the printer.
I know nothing (NOTHING) about networking. I don't think stringing ethernet cable up through attic, etc. is worth the trouble and hole-drilling.
So ... is there another way to network the printer to the iMac? An Airport card I think costs more than a new cheap printer. Are there other wireless solutions? If yes, must they have line-of-sight access between iMac and printer? It seems wasteful to me to buy another printer (that would make 3 Macs, 3 printers).
Remember, now, networking is a foreign language to me, so be gentle! Thanks!

Do you have other reasons to network that would justify the cost? One word of caution about buying a third printer, will you use it enough to keep the ink fresh? Many people have the ink dry out before they get their money's worth out of it.
I am reminded of two stories. One business associate spent $900 to network a $150 printer. The other reasons for networking were never realized. Cheaper to buy another printer. Now networking is much cheaper.
Second story, a lady at Weyerhaeuser in 1988 wanted a to try a Mac for desktop publishing. She had to convince her bosses that not going IBM was justified. The Apple dealer loaned her a system with a laser printer for a one month test. In one week, she had the engineering department newsletter completed, a task that took her one month on their IBM network. In two weeks, she had permision to buy TWO Macs and she said that without any training, she had the second computer unpacked, set up and networked to share the $5,000 Laserwriter. And she was not a computer technician.
A third printer is the simplest. If all printers were HPs, you could share the ink cartridges but the Epson printers do not allow for ink swaps. Wireless is the most elegant when setup with a print server.
My daughter just emails the document to another other computer to get to the printer of choice. If none of your printrs are network printers, you are really networking computers and letting one be the print server. Sounds a lot like email. That is my teenagers approach.

I am assuming that you used the same cartridges in the printhead when trying them in another printer, let me know if you didn't please. Since the new printhead works in another unit, it looks like it would be a hardware issue with the printer and it would need to be serviced. YAPP (Yet Another Printing Problem)

I've found another printing problem - this time with colour printing.
To my
surprise, Forte (3.0.E.0) can print in colour (at least on a HP 690C,
using
NT drivers for the 660C, the printer being connected to a Win95
machine).
I can print OK with from my NT develpoment machine in colour, but when
running
the same app from the Win95 client with the printer attached locally the
coloured text disappears. Has anyone else come across this problem?
Is this another of the 'Printing works fine as long as it happens
non-locally?'

In the pop-up screen, have you tried licensing it and signing in? Signing in is crucial, so it knows what you paid for.
