Check print program prints an extra page...

Hello Experts,
I have a dillema here wherein I cannot customize the standard check print program RFFOUS_C. When I check
the spool, it always prints an extra page even though the prior page does not overflow. I also do not
have any explicit NEW-PAGE or related code.
Have you guys encountered this?

1. Go to SM37 and check the Job log, is there any other program is triggering.You need to check the FBZP, for is there any other form is configured.
2.In the selection-screen you need to make sample printouts as zero.

Print unreadable characters and extra pages on Xerox 3050

We only have a Xerox 3050 Printer. Jetform server has setup it as Default printer. We have compiled our forms with 'Window default print driver' option. When merging DAT file into this printer, it printed most correct information but with some unreadable characters and also printed some extra pages with totally unreadable characters.
For the same forms, we have also compiled with PDF driver. When merging the same DAT files into the PDF files, they showed and printed correctly.
Is Xerox 3050 printer driver not supported by Jetform server, or other reasons?

I've seen this before, now let's see if I remember the cure!
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), this will clear the font caches for one thing, then run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Reboot.

Extra pages in new printer

Hi Experts,
We have installed a new HP printer (devise type HPLJ5SI) . When we print the work order or anything related, at the end of the printing, there are 2 extra pages are coming. If we use any other printer, it works fine. Can anyboty help, to resolve this issue? Is this related to printer settings or something else? Really appreaciate your valuable suggestions.

Hi,
This is a issue which occurs of a missing parameter in printer settings in SAP. Ask your Basis person to check for that missing parameter.
I also faced the same issue but I have lost the parameter name and value.

HP 5500 Extra page printing?

Have am HP 5500 networked printer spitting out an extra page after print jobs, has been going on for about a month now. It does this about 3/5 print jobs. When a user sends a document whether multi paged or not, it will print the job then prints an extra page saying
JOB STORAGE STATUS PAGE
Error: Unable to store job at printer
Reason: Printer not configured to collate
Solution: Install an EIO hard disk.
There is already 176 Mb or RAM installed along with a 81 RAM disk.
Ive tried turning off job storage, with no luck and turning it back on. I already did a firmware update and its still printing extra page. The printer is set to spool from the server. Did RAM check with no errors.
Running out of ideas, any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks .

Prints an extra page with message

Every time I print I get an extra page. I'm only prinitng one doucment and I get a second page with the following message:

Can someone help make this stop?

No the printer does not. I was finally able to solve the problem:
1. The X driver will not download at all from Minolta's site on the Mac Pro using firefox or safari as its a .gz file.

2. Found another link to download from Minolta. Installer would not work - it quit with an error - Minolta site says 10.2 or later - using 10.7.4 so maybe not.

Software Update printer driver update for HP causes an extra page to print that just has "2345X" printed on it.

A few days ago, Software Update showed a printer driver update for HP so I installed it. Now, after everything that I print, I get an extra page that just has "2345X" printed on it. I tried reinstalling the driver update but still get the extra page. Anyone know how to get stop this extra pgae from printing?

What I suggest is to reset the print system, click the link below to proceed:

Once you have reset the print system please make sure you are selecting the HP Driver and not the Airprint driver (see picture below)

Do we change print program, if we resize the page in scripts

My req is: There is a paragraph which is coming in two pages, but I want to show it only in a single page. So, I resized the page in layout set. but its working still, can we do something in our Print Program also, to get it done or resizing is the only way to accomplish this.

/: ENDPROTECT
can help you to print the paragraph in the same page without changing the print program or resizing the page.
If this page protect attribute is set, then the complete paragraph is always printed on one page.

Driver program or print program both r same... u can call either driver program or print progam.
Modifying the scripts depends upon your requirement,
basically if u have standard scripts better to copy it to zscript then make the chages like adding company logo or adding the company address or adding the terms and conditon what ever u asked to do then use the same print program write the extra logic in a subroutine in an executable program and call this routine in the script.
This is the method to modify the scripts with out modifying the print program because sometimes its not advisable to change the print program or
u can copy the print program to z program and u can add u r extra logic into it

Problems with Print Program of Production Order (CO03) !!

I have a question about Print program of Production Order. I created a new Order in CO01. Then, in CO03, I call Print Program ( menu Functions >> Print). At the first time, it printed a so-called original version. Later, when i printed it again, it informed me that just was a copy. Now, that's ok.
I made some modification of Print Program by copying and changing the code (let's call it Z_PSFCOBJL) and SAPScript form. However, When I call Print function in CO03 for that Order, it didn't show any changes which I made. What's wrong? I checked in the code by debug mode, the variable that I transfered to the form was correct with its value.
I think that because SAP just make a print copy so that it will not reflect any changes that I made to the program, right? Is there any way to overcome this because I don't want to create new Orders just for testing every modification?

Yes, I did assign the new program and new form for this before printing. But I wanna know if there is any way that allows me to view those changes I made?
When I change the code in Print Program, print-out includes this update (although it still informs me that is a copy version). But when I make changes in the SAPScript form (for example, adding a variable for display), it will not update this?

Detect print program name from within Sapscript. Is this possible?.

We have a situation whereby for the single and group delivery we have two print programs printing to one Sapscript form. This is exactly what we need, with one exception being the title. What I would like to do is detect the print program and change the title accordingly. Does anyone know if this is possible?.

hhhmm, the obvious answer sy-repid is of course bogus, because that would contain the program from the SAPscript environment. I wonder though if sy-cprog is of any use - probably not, but was too lazy to test this...
In general though I'd recommend though to use some better marker than program name. E.g. don't you have any existing global field that can be used (e.g. are you using the same delivery type, same output type, ...)? If you don't have one, maybe you should consider putting a global variable in both print programs that you fill to indicate which type you're processing.
In theory you could of course determine the program name, even from SAPscript, with the help of a ABAP form routine that evaluates the call stack and returns the program name of the print program. Or you could evaluate TNAPR as suggested by the previous poster, but I'm not sure if that's available by default (like the NAST record); I thought not, but my memory might serve me wrong. If not, I'd personally go with the markup variable (ideally existing content, if not available new one) as this seems the cleaner approach.

Unwanted Extra page in payment advice form (F110_PRENUM_CHCK, RFFOUS_C)

Hi,
We are printing payment advice form along with the check using standard print program RFFOUS_C.
But instead of using the standard form F110_PRENUM_CHCK we are using our own form. But when printing this form one extra page is coming with no data although all the line items are getting printed in the first page itself.
Can anyone plz help me on how to avoid this additional blank page.
And we have defined only one page with all necessary windows although there are 3 pages in the standard form F110_PRENUM_CHCK.

in the selection screen of RFFOUS_C, u can c multiple options,among them c the checkboxes that have been checked.. there r options for printing additional details,summary and things like that.. u may find something useful out there.. n also if u r using a variant in the program, just look out for the options that have been checked in the selection screen for this variant..

Hello, I have exactly the same problem. I could have written the same text. And I have'nt found solutions. Except, perhaps, change this printer (and quit HP?).

Cheque printing form always prints an extra page...

I have a custom form the cheque printing program RFFOUS_C. Now, my problem is that it
always prints an extra page even though the MAIN page doesnt have any line items. So instead of
expecting only 1 page it always shows 2 pages. And the worst thing here is that they I cannot customize
the standard program since it is the client's rule.
Any of you have encountered this problem before?

in your Form there is only One Page created?
just check if there exists any other page and in the Standard attributes of the page in "Next Page", the other page is set.
Ideally there should not be any page as the Next Page.

How to change font size in check printing program in AP Invoice

I would like to know how to change font size in check printing program in Oracle Payables Module for Invoice printing. We are using Oracle standard
report to print check.
Concurrent program short name : APXPBFEL
Prt file : APLASP.prt
I modified prt file for code 199 like below
code "199" esc "(8U" esc "(s0p12.00h10.00v0s0b3T" esc "&k11.75H"
Font size changed for last page only which prints checks, for Void pages its printed with default font. For Page 1 printed with default font and page 2 has reduced font. This change is not intiallized for all pages.
Please let me know if you any of you know how to change fonts.

thanks for your prompt responses...added to the question, in the extra page i'm getting spool information.actually the program is set in background.once the invoice is issued the form is sent to printer.and in the spool it is displaying the actual pages only.its not showing the extra pages.but once it is out from the printer,i'm getting the extra pages with the spool information
