Check serial numbers of ohter applications

Anybody know if I can use ARD to check the serial numbers of installed applications.
For example, I'd like to get a list of installed FileMaker Pro serial numbers by machine.
Thanks,
b.

Sorry, but probably not. Most applications deliberately do not write their serial numbers in an easily accessible or readable place (it would make it easier to pirate the software), and this includes FileMaker which, I believe, encrypts the SN so that it's not viewable outside of the application.

  • MB_DOCUMENT_BADI - MB_DOCUMENT_BEFORE_UPDATE : how to check serial number

    Hello,
we would like to check serial numbers just before saving our document.
How could we read the serial numbers from memory ?
The GET_SERNOS_OF_DOCUMENT does not return data from memory !
Do you know a function to catch those datas ?
    Best regards

    Hello Kesav,
If we use the customer exit EXIT_SAPLIPW1_008, we have a select in SER05 and OJBK for each serial numbers.
                                     => 200 serial = 200 select.
The use of the BADI would be a better solution  => only one SELECT .... into t_tab and then one READ for each SN.
    The use of GET_SERNOS_OF_DOCUMENT  :
    data : ls_rser  TYPE rserob,
              lt_sernos TYPE TABLE OF rserob.
        move: x_mkpf-mblnr to ls_rser-mblnr,
                   x_mkpf-mjahr to ls_rser-mjahr,
                  'SER03'            to ls_rser-taser.
      CALL FUNCTION 'GET_SERNOS_OF_DOCUMENT'
        EXPORTING
          KEY_DATA            = ls_rser
        TABLES
          sernos                   = lt_sernos
        EXCEPTIONS
          KEY_PARAMETER_ERROR = 1
          NO_SUPPORTED_ACCESS = 2
          NO_DATA_FOUND              = 3.
Result = NO_DATA_FOUND (True, because we have no SN in SER03 for the specified document => not saved).
This function seems not to be the good way to catch our SN from memory !

  • Stock check error message in serial numbers problem

    Dear Experts,
In serial number profiles i did the stock check indicator to give an error message if there were incosistinces in stock data,
    now this is the scenario:
after doing an external maintenance order and creating a PO with reference to the maintenance order PR, and also entering the specified serial number in the PO:
    1) Goods Issuing: i used MB1B with movement type 541 and as the serial number already exist and not wrong so it didnt show any error messages and by checking the stock data in MMBE the material was in stock provided to vendor.
    2) Goods Receipt: when using MB01 with movement type 101 and when entering the serial number of the material it gives an error message ALTHOUGH it is the same serial number issued and the same serial number in the PO
This is the error message :
Stock data of serial number G081 not suitable for movement
    Message no. IO231
    Diagnosis
The current stock information for the serial number G081 contradicts the stock information of the movement to be posted. The following stock information is valid for the document and the serial number:               Batch Number Stock data Serial data   C2
Only the first different field for the stock data/serial data is assigned. However, further data may also be inconsistent. To determine whether this is the case, you can start an analysis.
    System Response
Two system responses are possible (set using Customizing): If the case of an error occurring, the assignment of the serial number to this posting procedure is not possible. In the case of a warning, you can, if necessary, transfer the notification.
    Procedure
Assign a serial number which corresponds in your stock information to the stock data of the posting. You can display the serial numbers which can be used using Select serial numbers.
    Any help is appreciated
    Thanks in advance

    Try with MB04 t-code.
And External Operation scenario is as follows:
External Operations will be defined in Maintenance Order with control key PM02. There price will be maintained. So based on that, PR will be created for the External operations. Convert to PO & do GR for operations. I guess, here we can't do any goods issue of material to sub-contractor.
The reason is that in Sub-contracting, issue item & receiving item should be different. It can't be same. But here in our case, material code & serial number are same.
    So try this process.
Check the below link for External Processing.

  • Where can I find a list of application serial numbers in 10.8

Where can I find a list of my installed applications serial numbers?

doubtful that apps store their serialnumbers in keychain.. Like "kappy" said : you must keep track of such important stuff on your own. Those unlock/activation numbers for software are like the key to your car. In the case of a app like comiclife it might be only terrible if you loose it and must re-purchase the app, but imagine that would happen to owners of the full adobe cs suite, which is several thousand Dollars ..

Sorry to say you are out of luck.
The serial numbers came on the cd case. If they are no longer there, you have no way of using the program except as a 30 day trial. Adobe does not sell CS5 licenses any more.

  • Check number of enteered serial numbers in sd order

    Hallo,
i need to check wether a user how many serial number were entered into a SD order by the user. this should be checked before the sales order was saved.
to do so I tried to implement the logic into User exit USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAP in include MV45AFZB. The problem is: All function modules I found to determine the entered serial numbers need a document number for the selection. Due to the fact, that the sales order is not saved, yet, a document number does not exist at this time.
Does anyone know a way to get access of the serial number data of a not saved sales order?
    Thanks a lot,

    Hi,
thanks for the answe but I think that I am missing something here..
In field ANZSN has how many serial numbers have been entered from Extras-Technical objects. And I want to check the numbers that have been entered if they allready exist in another sales order. And for those numbers I cannot find the internal tables that they are keeping them..
    But thanks anyway..

  • Applications with serial numbers from old to new mac

    Hello,
I just purchased a new Retina Display MBP as an upgrade to my old iMac.
I have over 200 Applications taking up the bulk of my drive, many of which have serial numbers that I no longer even know of due to loss of original boxes, or what have you.
I am trying to avoid copying all of my content over to the new MBP, I would much rather just move what I actually need to and try to keep it a little "cleaner". So my question is, with a Time Machine Backup of my iMac... Can I plug that into the MacBook Pro, launch Time Machine, and simply drag the last backup's Applications over? Will the ones with the serial numbers run?
Is there a better way to do it?
    Thanks!

Use Migration Assistant. You can customise to a certain extent what you transfer over, but it'd be easier to transfer all your stuff that way and then delete what you don't want.

  • Applications keep losing their serial numbers

From time to time I get that applications at start-up ask for their serial numbers. These are being filled in again and after some time the message appears again.
I have encountered this with Adobe Suite apllications and SketchUp.
    Have done the permissions correction.
This is on a MacPro with MacOs 10.6.8
Hope someone can have a suggestion.

You should contact Adobe Support and/or post in the Adobe Forums since it's their product and Sketch Up developer if its not part of Adobe.

Adobe Activation error I bought a used CS2 application with serial numbers: it loads fine and works, but I cannot activate it and it will run out in 26 days. I bought it on ebat for 40 dollars. I am willing to pay a royalty fee. In 2006, or so, I bought a student version of CS2 at the College bookstore legally and registered it and it is still running on my 2002 eMac, but my Mac cannot communicate with my wireless printer I just got. So I looked for a copy of CS2 to put on my second hand IBM PC.

  • How to check for Auto Allocated Serial Numbers

    Hi
I have chosen ALLOCATE SERIAL NUMBERS = YES in Organization Parameters Form.
I have set the Item SERIAL GENERATION = AT SALES ORDER ISSUE at Item Level.
Done with the creation of Sales Orders
Done with Releasing a SO(Auto Allocate = NO and Auto PICK CONFIRM = NO)
Done with Transacting a Move Order.
Now moved to SHIPPING > TRANSACTIONS Form
In Lines/LPNs Tab, Entered Shipped Qty and then I forgot to allocate/assign Serial numbers from TOOLS --> Serial Numbers and created Deliveries and Trip Stops.
Now the Delivery status is CLOSED and Line status is SO Form in SHIPPED.
As I forgot to allocate sno's,system would have allocated serial numbers because ALLOCATE SERIAL NUMBERS = YES in Organization Parameters Form.
    Now my Question is,
How to find the serial Numbers that were allocated by the system?
    Thanks
    Veda

    Hello,
    What is the question?
Now you have line closed but delivery is still open?
Run this request OM > Shipping > Interfaces > Inventory Interface–SRS set debug to 1.
In requests you have Inventory Interface–SRS, Shipping.... SRS and another with SRS. I do not remember correct name now but you have to pick last one:) and set debug to 1. I will give proper name tomorrow.
Look into results and look for errors.

  • How to insert serial numbers in the creation of a delivery via VL01N

    Hello everybody,
In the creation of an outbound delivery via VL01N I have to copy the serial number from a specific inbound delivery. I can get these serial numbers but I do not know where or how I can insert these serial numbers.
I have to insert them just after the user press enter in the first screen of VL01N (before the delivery number is created) I cannot use a bapi like BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE because the delivery is not created yet.
Could anybody tell me how to do it? Any BAdI/Exit I can use? and which internal table I shoud update?
    Thanks a lot.

But this is impossible! Believe me! When I open Creative Cloud.app, the window which pops out says :
    ===========================================
    APPLICATIONS INSTALLEES (= Installed applications)
    Indesign CC (2014) ----- A jour (= up-to-date)
    Acrobat XI pro ----- A jour (= up-to-date)
TROUVER DE NOUVELLES APPS (= Find new apps)
Photoshop CC (2014) ----- Installer (Install)
    etc., etc.
    ===========================================
In the second part of the window, you have already installed apps, as Photoshop, which have not been updated as well as apps I have never installed, as Scout CC.
So it is impossible to install Indesign anew.
When I click on the small gear, a small window opens up, and I can check that in Preferences/Apps that the "Langue de l'app", that is the "Language of the app" is "English plus hebrew (some hebrew characters)
", since i made this choice yesterday, as you told me.
And nevertheless, the Creative Cloud.app does not want to download any new Indesign application.
It is not possible to ask the people at Adobe who have designed CC.app?
    Thank you,

  • Serial numbers invalid !!!

Yesterday I installed Flex Builder 2.0.1 with charting to my
    XP Pro Sp 2 machine.
After installation completed I open the FlexBuilder
Application and prompted me serial numbers dialog. I entered both
FlexBuilder and Charting serial numbers and clicked "OK" button.
Serials were accepted and application opened.
I checked "Manage License" from Help menu.
Both Flex Builder and Charting seems as "Full Version" means
    serials were accepted by application.
I closed the application than I opened again.
I got a prompt from application then it said "Trial period is
    expired" and serials are invalid.
Now I can not open the Flexbuilder.
Is ther anyone who has any idea about the solution?
    Any help is apriciated.
    Rusen

    Rusen,
This sounds like what happened to us. There are two
different Flex Builder 2 applications that look exactly alike.
Regular, single user packages, and volume licenses. We bought three
copies of Flex builder 2 and had no idea there was anything to be
concerned about. The software vendor sent us single user software
and volume license keys (serial numbers). By looking at them we
couldn't tell there was a different, but the software knew and
wouldn't work. We wasted about two months before we got to the
right person at the vendor who understood what was going on. Check
with whoever sold you the software to make sure that those licenses
    go with that software.

  • Asking for serial numbers

Aperture started asking for a serial number to be entered after having used it for the last 6 months or so. I posted some questions regarding this under the Aperture discussions, no insight yet.
Now soundtrack is asking for serial numbers despite my having used soundtrack for a good length of time. I'm seeing a pattern starting to form and am wondering if there might be more of an OS issue in general as opposed to one application.
Any insight as to why Apple products are randomly prompting about once a week or so for serial numbers? It didn't used to do this and they've worked great. They still work fine after inputting the serial number again. And again.
Its not a big deal to put in the serial number, more of a pain than anything. But I'd sure like to nip this in the bud if possible. Could something be going on with keychain? Or does keychain have anything to do with serial numbers for apple apps?
Any insight is appreciated. I do have all current software updates installed and have run the diskmanager to check for permissions issues, got those resolved (weren't many) and it is still asking about once a week for serial numbers on Aperture and Soundtrack.
    Thanks

I started a while back in the Aperture area for the Aperture stuff. Now that it is also happening with soundtrack, I'm wondering if there might be some issue that is outside of the individual app and more of an OS issue as opposed to an individual app.
I'm not sure if the serial numbers are stored in a central location or if they are app dependent
