Check spelling before sending an email, strange words

I have the default set to check spelling before sending an email, sometimes I get all kind of strange words that are not in my email show up as spelling errors. What do I need to change to correct this problem

Any examples of the words?
Are you replying to or forwarding messages created by users of Outlook or other Microsoft email products? Their messages are full of bloated Office-based non-standard coding that Thunderbird's spell checker struggles (and fails) to understand.
Fundamentally, if you can't see the text that the spell checker is complaining about, it almost certainly doesn't matter.
Next time you get a message that does this, go back to the original message, select it and use ctrl+u to see its source. You may be surprised at the sheer bulk of invisible and largely useless code in the message sent to you,

  • Check Spelling Before Send

It's a trivial thing, but embarrassing if you expect it and it doesn't happen. Sure, turning on spell check puts red lines under misspelled words. However it's not easy to correct them on the Z10; you can't right-click the word, etc. On the 9900 and all previous models, it would prompt you for each detected bad word after you hit "send". But now, I found to my chagrin that the z10 doesn't. Is there an option I don't see somewhere to turn this feature back on?

once you have finished typing your word, and are on another word, the misspelled word is underlined by a funny red line. Just hit that word, and it will open a context menu that will give you correct word propositions, you just have to select the correct word.
This acts as in the 9900, but indeed it does not to the "last pass" going through all the red lines one at a time like before.

i have a problem with mail.  the spelling and grammer check box before sending the messege is no longer there.  I did everything but cannot get it back.  is ther anyone who knows how to get the box with spelling and grammer checks before sending the mail.
Also the mail is acting very funny by not getting the rules work in a proper method.  Is ther a software to repair mail.

i did both of them, but still the while sending the mail the diolog box is not showing up and also the spelling and grammer does not do the spelling check.
This problem just started for about 3 to 4 days now.  earlier it was working normally.

I drafted an email, hit my home button and went to Safari before sending the email or saving it as a draft. When I returned to mail, the email I was working on cannot be found. How can I recover it?

I've found that since I installed iOS7, I've had this problem a lot. In iOS6, I was initially cautious about leaving a draft open and unsaved while I used other apps, but soon found it was quite reliable and they were always still there when I returned to Mail.
With the first version of iOS7, the draft was almost certain to be gone when I returned. Since iOS7.0.4 it's a lot better, but not reliable enough to trust. I've got into the habit of using Cancel/Save Draft *every* time I need to use Safari, etc, before continuing with an email I'm typing. It's just not worth having to retype it.
Note that when you return to the Mail app, you don't have to go to the Drafts folder to find your draft again. Just tap and hold the New Message icon, and a list of drafts will appear. The most recent one will be at the top. I've found that this tip makes the idea of having to cancel, save and reopen much less tedious.

  • Check mail before send

Hello. I have a problem. I'm new with Apple world. Until now I used like Email client Pegasus Mail on PC. My ISP needs for using the smtp server to check email before send it. On Pegasus there was the flag to use it. On AppleMail I found nothing. I can't send mail.
So I'm asking if there is a way to make the login to a pop before use the smtp.
(do a prior POP3 login to authenticate before sending mail)
    Checking manually doesn't work.
    Many thanks and best regards.

This question about the so called "pop before smtp" authentication occurs every then and now. However, nobody every posted a "solution" for Apple's Mail.app. You can use an alternative third party client (e.g. Thunderbird) or change your provider (or tell your provider, that a thing called "asmtp" exists, and there is no need for pop before smtp any more).

  • Checking input before sending request

    Hello JSP-fellows,
I have an jsp-page with a number of input fields which I would like verify before I send the request.
Is there any possibility that after pressing the submit button I go to
a java script input check and if the check is not OK I do not send the request to the server?
My submit button tag looks like this (the ordinare way):
    <td ><input type="submit" value="Submit" name="submitButton"></td>
Can I, in some way, embed an onClick() script in the tag above and not execute the submition in case any input field is wrong?
Perhaps there are some other better ways to do an input check in an jsp page before sending request?
Thanks in advance for you help,
    Best regards
    Danny

Not really a JSP issue, more general HTML.
But, yes you can. You can, like you already wrote, embed an onclick in a submit button. A better approach, in my opinion, is to use the onsubmit function of the FORM tag:
    <FORM action="..." onsubmit="return validate();" >
Let the validate function return false if the validation wasn't successfull, then the form will not be posted.

  • How do I down size my photos on the ipad before sending by email?

When I send pictures via email from my 3rd generation ipad they are "oversized" or too large.
How do I down size before sending?

In Safari, (the web browser), there are specific arrows to go back and forward through website pages.
In other Apps, it will depend on how the App is built.
As to Yahoo Mai it depends on where you are viewing the email.  If you are using the Mail App, then you don't log out.     The Mail accounts in the Mail App are always there.
If you are using the Yahoo App, You can Tap on the folder at the top, then on your account/name, and then on Sign Out.

  • Check attachments before sending?

How can I check the PSD files I have attached to an email are the correct ones before I send it?
After attaching PSD files they don't show up in the email... though they are there as I can save draft and then see a list of attachments.
Other files .doc, .txt etc are ok.

You can't, unless you want to go back and open them again in Photoshop. When you attach a document, you should know whether or not the ones you choose are correct, otherwise there would be no point for you to attach them. So why second-guess everything you do?
PSF files may not render in the message window, but that doesn't mean they're not attached.

  • When I check spelling, after correcting the first misspelled word the rest of the missspelled words in the message are no longer marked as misspelled..

If, say, five words originally show as misspelled, after I correct the first one the other 4 no longer show as misspelled.

Hello.  I too have a Mail spelling issue since Mavericks.  My mail has never made any automatic corrections - only suggestions - and I am not sure how to get that going.  Anyhow, these days when the speller doesn't recognise a word and I go in and add an accent to that word (alt+e+e), it infuriatingly sends the message immediately without continuing the spellceheck.  Any ideas gratefully received.

  • How do I "insert characters" before sending an email - to avoid spamming?

I followed normal procedure for forwarding omn an email I had been sent. It would not go, and I was told to add characters as this would avoid spamming as a security measure. This has not been asked before, and only started today. Why? I do not know what to put!

Firefox doesn't have any email features like that.

  • How to automatically spell check emails before sending

Hi. I have a Q10, and I was wondering how I can automatically spell and grammar check emails before sending. Currently, if a word is misspelled, I get a red underline, and most of the time, if I click on that word, I get this magnifying glass, which I have no idea what the magnifying glass is, and why that comes up instead of options for the spell check. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

BB decided it would be nice to take this feature away. I do not think that there is ONE phone left on the market (other than an old BB) that has a good old fashioned spell check.  There are A LOT of unhappy BB users who really miss and relied on spell check/check spelling before sending.  Little things like this are what made BB's stand apart from other phones.  Now it's just a wanna be iphone

  • OWA Email Prompt Before Sending Email With Spelling Errors

Looking for a way to configure OWA so that it does not send, or at least prompts you before sending, an email that has spelling errors?
    Thanks

    Hi FaeB,
    Thank you for your question.
Exchange 2013 OWA didn’t  just receive email without any development.
When we send email with spelling error, OWA will display the red line under incorrect word, as the following snapshot:
In snapshot, I make the word of “email” and “error” incorrect.  If we didn’t modify it, OWA will not give another reminder when we send emails.
If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.
    Best Regard,

  • Reviewing attached PDF before sending email

    Hello,
I use the email option within Acrobat Reader to generate an email in Outlook Express with the active PDF-file as an attachment.
Then I fill out the recipients etc. and write the text of the email.
At this point, just before sending, I would like to review the PDF-file, just to make sure everything is "in sync" with the content of my email message, but this is not possible.
Nothing happens when I double-click the attachment and I can't go back to Acrobat Reader to scroll through the PDF-file there - Acrobat Reader is "locked" as long as the email window is open.
When I do not use the email function within Acrobat Reader, but attach the PDF-file from within Outlook Express itself, I can open the PDF-file and view it without problems prior to sending.
Is there any way of viewing the attached PDF-file before sending the email when using the email button from within Acrobat Reader?
    Thanks!

  • Everytime I send an email I have to sign in with my password.

I figure I must have something checked in my setup that makes me sign in my password before sending an email. Or is this something that my comcast carrier is requiring me to do.

For the past two weeks Thunderbird is acting weird. It keeps saying to enter password, then it says log in failed. Then there is a delay in receiving messages. Checked my settings, everything is ok. What is causing this.
