Check stock consistence

Hi,
I have used the transaction MB5K to check stock consistence: about several materials codes there is a red message that is : ' 506 miss an enter in the historical table'..What means?Where is the historical table and how can I correct this inconsistence?( In fact for these material there is a value stock =0 and instead it wouldn't be zero..).
Please help me,10 points for a right answer.

you can use any material for consignment and if u wan tto consider certain factors for MRP then u may assign the specila procurement type in mrp views

Check stock availability in non-PROD loc

Hello,
I have set my production st/location(PROD) in material master, When I creates the prod order it always check the stock availability in PROD location and pops up missing parts as stock is in raw materials loc.
Can we set something, so that while prod order creation, it should check stock availability in all raw material locations (but not in PROD).

I think it can be done via OPJJ, no sto loc inspection, but what could be the pro/cons for setting this indicator.
Please suggest.

If you make the OPJJ setting, it will check all storage locations in that plant, including PROD. Depending on what this StLocn is used for, this is probably OK.
Some companies 'stage' their materials, which means they move stock from RM stockroom to a production floor staging area location. Then, they run their ATP. 'Missing parts' means they have to go to the RM Stockroom, get the missing stuff, and move it into the production staging area. For these companies, they want PROD checked exclusively.
Other companies (sounds like your company) don't stage their components. They run their prod order ATP checks, and any missing parts list they hand to the expeditors, who may go to the department that makes the subassembly (manufactured component), or may go to Purchasing department to expedite the RM (Purchased component).
It really depends on the business requirements.

User Exit in ME51N & ME21N for checking stock at location

Dear All,
Requirement is to give error message while creatin a PR / PO for a material for whcih there is stock at XXXX storage location.
Is there user exit for checking stock whiel creating PR and PO waih will check stock at a particular storage location ?
OR any other way ..

There are a lot of providers who can supply pre-printed checks in Check-Check-Stub or any other format but nothing might exactly fit SBO PLD. Some customization might be needed as per Client requirements.
Costco Business has a good variety but you would probably need to select any other application like Dynamics as a Customized version for SBO is not available

Narayana,
There is no std SAP WM report which will show you this. I will take some calculating to get a total for all movements for a material/ST/Bin/etc. I did it in excel and it took some time, but I'm sure you could write a basic query / ABAP report to get this.

We have a below requirement..
While creating sales order if the available stock is zero after doing ATP check,then we should not be able to save the sales order...(if confimed qty is zero,then saving of that particular item should not be done.It should throw out error message saying stock not available for that particular item).We should be able to delete that item and save remaining items in sales order.....
Is there any standard config available for the same....

Fail to print check stock properly

We have an HP 3210 all in one. It's printing fine when I use regular multi use paper. However, my checks are on a slightly heavier paper stock. It is not printing these properly. It does not seem to feed the paper through properly and I wind up with the payee, amount and other information printed much farther down than it should be. Any suggestions? Thanks.

The problem arises when the you attempt to set different clip rectangles as you render various page elements. Avoiding setting clip rectangles will help in avoiding the problem.

Sales order checks stock and auto planned ord created for shortage quantity

Yes strategy 40 will work for the first part, but if stock are not there, then how to get Planned orders with reference to Sales order? Infact as i wrote before, we can get that as well using MD50 MRP run, but the process order has non valuated GR, the price for FG is zero. Can you help me with that, to get a valuated Goods receipt for the Finished product?
You can check your self, in the Documented Goods list of Process order, the non valuated material marked "X"

Here is how the system will behave.
Product A requires X and Y. For making A = 1000 EA, we need X = 1000 EA and Y = 1000 EA.
Stock of X = 1000 EA in unrestricted use. Stock of Y = 500 EA in unrestricted use.
Assumption:Scope of check will consider only the available on hand inventory
If we run MDVP, the committed qty for A will be 500 EA because it will consider the maximum possible qty that can be made with available stock.
In MF60, for both X and Y the reserved qty will be 500 EA. The balance 500 EA of X will not be reserved for this planned order because, it will not be of any use until you receive 500 EA additional of Y. System will have it open for other planned orders if any.

Sales order ATP check - stock transport order

Hi,
When the sales orders is created it performs availability check on stock transport order as per the settings and confirms quantity. However, when the stock transport order carries a batch which has a restricted status, the sales order still confirms the quantity based on the stock transport order delivery date. I have applied OSS notes 350864 and 154682, but still the system confirms quantity, which has restricted status at batch level in stock transport order.
Can any one help with a solution for this scenario?

Checking Stock (Available Stock)

I have a requiremnt to develop a report to show Available Stock of the material.
While displaying the stock it should check the quantity of the open orders and duduct that from the stock.
i.e Available Stock = stock - quantity of open orders
As I know we can see all open orders using transaction VA05
or we can find all open orders in VBUK/VBUP with status = A
from where we can calculate the quatity of open orders.
but I have gone through one program in which the developer used table VBBE and field OMENG for quantity of open orders,
here I have noticed that I have taken some orders where we get using transaction VA05 but those orders not exist in table VBBE so I am bit confused in this, please let me know if any one have clear idea on this...

Try Tcode CO09 to view the ATP quantities. The ATP quantities are the Available To Promise - which are not assigned to any sales orders or customers and are free for sale.

Check stock of BOM in sales order

Is there a easy way to check the stock of the items in a salesorder with BOM - Sales and Assembly type

Hi,
If i have a line in the salesorder with assembly bom or salesbom i want to check see / check if there are enough onhand stock for the total needed when i create an delivery. The BOM could have more then 2 levels
So quantity in salesorder * quantity in bom should be matched against total onhand.
I know how to create fms on itemcode fms but not when there are childitems / components which are not visible in the salesorder.
Know we must click the item in the salesorder and check all BOM lists to see if there is enough stock to create an delivery.

Check stock quantity available during Hu packing

Hi guys,
When I Pack HU on HU02 transaction, system don't check available stock for material packed.
So I can pack 1000 kg of material A, and for this material the available stock only has 700kg.
When I transfer HU, I have inconsistent information, on MMBE 'Stock overview' I have 700kg but when I display HU, the packed quantity are 1000kg.
Any ideia how I can solve this problem.

Go to T.code OPJJ.Select your Checking rule (which you have assign in your Checking Control for your Order Type in T.code OPJK) and activate Check for Include Reservation and dependent reservation as X.
