Check the frequency a report is run

Hello experts,
I like to know if there is a way to find out how often a custom abap report is run and who the user is ?
Is there anything in sap that i can use ?
Any suggestions is appreciated and awarded.

How 2 Set the logic for report 2 run 1st of everymonth......

Hi Experts,
i ve developd a HR-ABAP report in that Some part of code will Mon-Fri, Excluding Public holidays and sat & sundays...( i.e no public holidays and no sat & sundays)
and some part of should Run on 1st of everymonth.... but 2 parts of code should be in same report..
How can set the logic to run the report respective times....

you can code this but need some good expertise on fm's , date handling techniques and subroutine call coding.
1.
to make the code run only on 1st of every month
capture the rundate of ur prog .. take value of sy-datum
ex.. 01.xx.yyyy
or date std will be yyyymmdd so check for dd = 01 ..
so per logic first two chars show that its first of any month in any year ..
if yes
execute the logic for the first of every month ..
endif.
2.
where the code needs to be run on mon-fri and not on public holidays / sun / sat ..
first fetch the day based on date .. like mon or tue or wed .. except sat and sun..
second check whether if m-t-w-th-fr if any of them is a holiday or not
u need to check the date in the calender list like tholi thoc and .. to check whether that is a holiday or not ..
coming to sat and sundays .. u need to check the day for date using function modules and build the logic ...

How to allocate order by checking the price scales during MRP run

Hi,
Here is a scenario.
A material XXXX is being supplied by Vendor A and Vendor B.
Vendor A has got price scale as below
For Order qty 0-10 pc -- Rs. 10 per pc
For Order qty 11-20pc -- Rs. 10 per pc
Vendor B has got price scale as below
For Order qty 0-10 pc -- Rs. 12 per pc
For Order qty 11-20pc -- Rs. 8 per pc
With these price options,...
--If requirement qty is 8 pc, then Vendor A should be assigned as Source of Supply in PR
--If requirement qty is 12 pc, then Vendor B should be assigned as Source of Supply in PR
How can this be met?

As told, here I come with news about my problem.
Finally, the Strategy Group didn't solve our problem.
We didn't solve our problem as planned but we have found another way to work.
Instead of including the unrestricted stock in the MRP project, we use transaction CO46 to have an overview of the unrestricted stock of all the components of the project's BOM.
Based on that overview, the user can make stock transfers of the available quantities from the unrestricted stock to the project stock.
I hope it can help people having the same problem!

Checking the master data automatically before the payroll run...

Hi Friends,
Can anyone tell me that, is it possible to check the master data automatically before the payroll run.
If any user forget to maintain any important info-type ( like Cost Distribution ) in time of master data maintenance, SAP allow the Payroll system to run the payroll for that employee. Only in time of account posting the user is able to know the problem and due to rectify the problem they have to delete the payroll.
So, I therefore wants to know that is there any check point or can customized any such things, which will check the necessary info-types before running payroll and generate an error massage about the missing info-type and also skip the processing for that person.

Schedule report to run daily

Hi,
I want the Inventory Audit Report to run automatically daily (and thereby update the Last Evaluated Price).
I know the report scheduler can schedule reports for user queries, but I need this out-of-the-box B1 report to run automatically with a predefined schedule.

You can not Schedule Standard Report for Scheduling for Email.

How to configure oracle 6i report server run time component with application server

we got oracle 6i report server for developing the web based reports for our undergoing product. we r succesed in developing the web based reports using oracle 6i report server.But we r facing problems while deploying the product with oracle reports at clients place,why because the client does not have the oracle 6i report server. To solve this problem we have to configure the oracle 6i report server run time component with application server at client side , but we are unable to configure this component(that is CGI handler).

You can run multiple instances of Reports Server in 6i.
In tnsnames.ora, for each server, have a different name and each listening to different port.
For example,
server1.world = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(Host = myhost.mydomain.com)(Port = 1949))
server2.world = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(Host = myhost.mydomain.com)(Port = 1950))

How to check the Business Package version in portal

Hi All,
I need information on business package version which is running in portal. after the business package deployed in portal then we could see the content in portal content->content provided by SAP folder.
Recently we upgraded the Busiess Package of XRPM from 4.5 to 5.0 in portal, now i wanted to see what the content currently running in Portal whether it is Business Package of 4.5 or 5.0 version??
Please let me know where could we check the BP version which is running in portal??

Unable to read the frequency!

my programe reads in off an lvdt transducer through a labjack my programe works up until the LJ stream graph process reads to "scaled data v's seconds" graph.where it graphs a sin wave (amplitude vs time)
for some reason the "freq. amp." analyser won't read the frequency correctly. when i run the programme it outputs a frequency of zero.
note: the amplitude is reading correctly

Your actual data are not accessible and the sub-VI is missing. If you could re-post your VI with time data saved as default on your graph that would be helpful.
In the mean time ... few comments:
- You are attempting to display Amplitude vs. Frequency on an XY-graph. However your graph "data" are just two scalars representing respectivelly the single value amplitude and the single value frequency. This will only give you one point on your graph.
- What exactly are you trying to display? A set of multiple amplitudes vs.frequencies? The spectrum of your signal?

I don't really see the utility of this VI, however, the variable "scan rate", of the "LJstream graph processing", it's an arbitrary value, why?...
What is the idea with these VIs?, tell me more, please.

The subvi that produces the output for the "Scaled Data vs Seconds" is not available from your upload--it appears to be your problem.
I attached a jpeg of a test I ran on the last part of your vi--it should work successfully. The simulated signal correctly produces a point on the X-Y graph for amplitude and frequency which is what you desire I believe. If you can find the problem in "LJstream graph process.vi" the output part should work correctly.

How to check the status of infopackage ??

hi,
I have executed infoobject, and i can go to moniter and see the status. but over there it only shows time and no. of records.
like this...

does it mean its loading 234 records from 120 records ? that doesnt sound right. for me the second no. is always smaller then the first no.
also, is there any other way to check whats going on ? other then Monior????

Yes it means the load is still processing. Once the load gets completed the request will change to Green and the record count will match like
EX: Green o 15.30.00(234 from 234 records)
As the load is running you can check the back ground might be running goto SM37 tcode enter user name and select the active requests and click execute
or
From the monitor screen "environment" --> job overview --> in the "source system" it will take you to SM37 screen.
Check the job log till it finishes.
If the job finished and still the load is in yellow status - check for the idocs and if they are hung process them manually.

No reading on the frequency counter

I'm not getting a reading on the frequency counter when I wired the clock signal onto it. There's just one input to the counter, so I wired a clock and try to get a reading. All I see are the dashes. Is there something else I need to do? thank you.

Hi,
You can configure some parameters in the pop-up window of the instrument. Trigger Level, sensitivity and AC or DC Coupling. You can try to set these based on your circuit.
If you want us to take a look at it, please post the circuit.
As an alternate, you can also see the freq in the measurement probe. Go to Simulate -> Instruments -> Measurement Probe and click on the net (wire) where you want to check the frequency.

Measure the Frequency Of User Report Running

Hi Experts,
Currently I am working on the BW3.5 version. Currently we are having 70 reports in the system. Our client requirement to list out the reports which is not executed frequently and label that obsolete.
So I want to find out how many times a particular query has been accessed.Unfortunately, the BI statistics cube are not activated in the current server. So I cannot utilize the BI statistics cube option.
I tried working with ST03N as well with table RSDDSTAT but didn't get a clear picture. I am still amazed how people find this mode useful to gauge the frequency of use. Probably I am not interpreting the data well. Would preferably like to know who have used a particular query on a particular day.
Please through your thoughts on the issue. Thanks.

Hello Nacho,
the output terminal of the AI Start VI will never be able to give you the actual rate when you use external clocking. It's only valid whenever you use internal clock (and the board divides down the master clock to get as close as possible to the desired rate). This is what you get at the output.
You can test this by using an example with internal clock and choose a "rare" frequency/rate such as 1621.5. The board will really sample at a similar rate, but not always at the exact speed you may choose.
If you want to calculate the frequency, you'll have to use counters and feed the encoder signal (CH A) to the counter's source (or gate depending on which method you use to compute the frequency).
