Check to see if datasets are done being built

Basically I want to kick off a script which runs as the last
possible event of the page creation. Looking for something to occur
after the dataset has been built. Similar to the spry:state"ready"
feature but it kick off a script rather than display a region. Is
there any feature within spry or object I can check to produce
this. What I am hoping to do is Hijax a page after the data set is
created

I have Firefox 18.0.1 and when I click "Check to see if plugins are up to date", I get an uresponsive script warning.

When I click the link "Check to see if plugins are up to date" at the top of the Add-ons Manager page, it opens a new page like normal. The new page displays everything but the plugins and their status. The page just sits waiting for the status results to populate. If I try to click anything at this point, the page freezes and I see a message at the top of the window that Firefox has become unresponsive. If don't click and wait about 60 seconds, I get a "Warning - Unresponsive Script" message. I also see the following information with this warning:

This first happened yesterday, after accidentally removing Java from my PC - I think it was Java 6. When I tried to access Java downloads to re-install, I got the same unresponsive script message. So, I had to access Java downloads with IE instead of Firefox, and I re-installed Java (version 11, update 11). Has Java caused my problem? Should I attempt to find Java 6 and install it?

Check what oracle installed components are actually being used in database

I have been allotted a new database which I have to optimize. So I am thinking about removing some installed components which I think are not being used in any way in database (i.e procedures calls etc). I can see a whole lot of components like "SDO","ORDIM" which I think are not being used but previous DBAs have installed them. So, is there any way to ensure that no part of database are actually using these components so that I can remove these components. Also ,what are your expert comments about this?

Is this a production or a development environment? If an object isn't being used then it's not necessarily a problem (performance wise) unless it's cluttering up either your dictionary or raising concerns in regards consuming unnecessary space. Personally I'd recommend that it's better to tune what is being used / taking resources. It may be a once a year report or some old utility pulled out once a year, best check why these things are there.
If you go down the dropping route, rather than drop anything immediately lock accounts for an agreed period of time to make sure that the schema isn't used & check any references from other schemas to objects within the schema that you're planning to drop, potentially audit these to check whether they're being called by other schemas / checking dba_dependencies between schemas & objects using a hierarchical query to check sublevels.
There are also quite a few Oracle standard components that are installed by default that have interdependencies and won't necessarily be used in the dictionary (checking dba_features_usage_statistics)

I updated to firefox 35.0 and cannot check to see add ons are updated it just spins I tried refreshing firefox and no help

I was wondering if towers are still being built in dead areas and roaming areas.

So, my iPad cannot roam in extended coverage and I was wondering if you guys are still building towers in dead areas with no service and roaming areas. It would be nice to access data service mostly everywhere, even in mountainous areas. So I was wondering if you guys are fixing the roaming and dead areas. I think every town in the United States needs coverage also in parks like the grand canyon, so I was wondering about that. Thanks!

Windows 8.1 VMs are randomly being built with the taskbar on the left side

I have created a new Win 8.1 image and run a powershell script to deploy it to a number of VMs.
Most of the VMs build with the taskbar at the bottom of the desktop, but for a few random VMs it builds with the taskbar on the left hand side. There is no obvious pattern in the VMs that have the taskbar on the left hand side, and we would like all of the
VMs to build with the taskbar at the bottom.
Has anyone come across this before? Is there a reg key that can be used to specify where the taskbar is located?

I want to know the powershell command you had used to deploy this and whether there is MDT or WDS in your deployment environment, if you do have, I suggest to upload the setupact file at: C:\Windows\Panther\UnattendGC, this will give helpful information
for each vm. Besides, the toolbar setting can be set at the Windows 8.1 image that you want to deploy, you can set the taskbar at the bottom in this way:
1.type taskbar and varvigation at the search box,
2.find the “taskbar location on screen” and set it to the boootom, just like the screenshot below:

You cannot update iPhone 4 to IOS 8.1.2, the highest you can update is IOS 7.1.2.
Unless you've iPhone 4S (looks similar to iPhone 4)

One resolution to your issue would be to update your iPhone using iTunes on your computer rather than over the air. This requires much less space on the iPhone as most of the work is done by the computer. See this article for how to do it -

There are a couple of possibilities that may apply to the email you have received regarding your Apple ID. The first is that the email may be a legitimate warning that your Apple ID has been compromised. For this reason I would suggest that you change the password to your Apple ID as soon as possible. Check boxes are not being displayed in any list applets

Issue: The check boxes are not being displayed in any list applets in the system. A check box can be marked in the system, but as soon as the user clicks anywhere outside of the box the check box 'visibly' disappears. If you hover the mouse over the check box it displays a 'Y'. However, check boxes are working fine for the form applet, the issue is only with the list applet.
I verified the checkboxes work fine in the thick client and in production. However, it is the testing environment, which belongs to client, that is showing the above behavior. I think there is some setting that is missing for them. But I am unable to figure it. I would really appreciate if someone could help !!

One way that you could make it work (just tried it out again) is to use the windings font
and use the checkboxes from there. However, you need to register the font with xml publisher. In the template builder for Word, you can put a configuration file under:
C:\Program Files\Oracle\XML Publisher Desktop\Template Builder for Word\config
(depnding on your installation). The file should have the name xdo.cfg or xdoconfig.xml.
There is an example file: xdo example.cfg that you rename and change accoringly.
The font is there setup for windows 2000 as an example. Select the correct font
path - for my XP it is:

<truetype path="C:\WINDOWS\fonts\wingding.ttf" />
</font>
Then you can put the symbols into your RTF template and it will be rendered.
At least it worked for me - with 5.6.2. (Availbable on Wednesday or Thursday), but
I am pretty sure I tried it before with 5.5.
Didn't have the 5.5 manual with me - so I have to check what that says again..

If i go to Tools > Addons and click on the "Check to see if your plugins are up to date" link, it gives me an error
"Plugin Finding Service Error

How do I dis-able the pop-up blocker when the box is not checked and yet, pop ups are being blocked?

I want to totally disable Mozilla's pop-up blocker. I went to the tools/options page and found that the pop up blocker box is not checked but it is still blocking pop-ups. I see that others are having the same problem. How do we fix it, or, is this a programming issue and if so, is Firefox fixing it? It is quite annoying.

Could you click the Exceptions button to the right of "Block pop-up windows" and make sure none of those sites is specifically blocked?
If you have unchecked the box and there is no site-specific setting, that usually does it...
Is it possible that an add-on is doing the blocking? A standard diagnostic to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings) is to try Firefox's Safe Mode.
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [[Backing up your information]]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, restart Firefox in Firefox's Safe Mode ([[Safe Mode]]) using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode."
Check the Options dialog > Content to make sure the pop-up blocker is turned off.
If popups now work correctly, this points to one of your extensions as the most likely culprit. If you restart in normal mode, you can try disabling (or adjusting the options of) any that seem possibly popup-related (e.g., security related) here:
