Hi,
Did you use the same account with the App creator(the account which deployed the app)? You can use the app creator to check whether it works.
Could the other accounts access the apps? You can use the other accounts to check whether it works.
To quickly and accurately find the issue, you can check the event log and ULS log to see if anything unexpected occurred.
For SharePoint 2013, by default, ULS log is at
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\LOGS

  • Outlook 2010, 2013 on new 2010 exchange server get windows security popup for password

We recently migrated exchange 2003 on 2003 server to Server 2008R2 and Exchange 2010 SP3.  The installation had multiple problems and we resorted to Microsoft technical support for the server resolution. On the server level it seems to function
as expected.  Our problem is with outlook 2010 and 2013.  Some of these outlook 2010 installs existed prior to the exchange 2010 upgrade and worked as expected prior to the upgrade
Now with new machines (never been connected to our Domain) and some existing windows 7 machines with outlook 2010 and 2013, we get a windows security popup requesting the password.
We have spent a couple of weeks reading blogs, how two's  and guaranteed fixes that don't fix.  The best we can do is start outlook, get the folders to sync and shortly thereafter it will request the password.  You can enter the password and
it comes right back requesting the password.  You can cancel the request and you will get needs password in the area where it shows connected to exchange server and then will not prompt for another password until you need an update from the server
or you try to send and email.  The email will not send until provide a password and immediately press send.  Once in the outbox it will require the password again to send and then cancel the popup and repeat the process again.
Outlook test, turn off discovery, remove all credentials do not help.  Outlook anywhere turned off.  So far nothing seems to help.
Does anybody have a solution to my dilemma?

    Hi,
Please check the problematic users' Outlook settings by the following steps:
    1. Click File > Account Settings > Account Settings > Change > More settings.
    2. In Security tab, make sure "Encrypt data between Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Exchange" option is checked, "Always prompt for logon credentials" is unchecked.
    3. Change the logon network security to Negotiate Authentication, and Apply > OK to set it.
Restart Outlook to have a try. If the issue persists, please
re-create Outlook profile to check whether the issue persists.

  • How to save the credentials in windows security when opening a report?

How to save the credentials in windows security when opening a report?
in Silverlight program, user click a link to SQL server report services link, it pops up a new IE window and ask for windows security.
Type the user name password in and check save password. reports showed and close IE. user click again, the same windows security popup dialog showed up. how to really remember the credentials?
If keep the IE open, reports shows in second tab of the same IE window for the second click, and it didn't ask for the windows security.

    Hi Lascorpion,
According to your description, users need to type username and password before they can open the SSRS report when reopening IE, right? If I have anything misunderstood, please point it out.
Base on my research, this issue offten occurs on IE9 which ships with Windows 7 operating systems. In this case, to avoid this issue we can add the report URL to the trust site, for the detail information, please refer to the link below.

  • Combine files stuck on checking for security settings?

Adobe Acrobat X Pro 10.1.1 on Mac OS X 10.6.8
I've been trying to combine 2 pdf files (scanned to pdf using Preview on Mac) in Adobe Acrobat. However, it keeps getting stuck on checking for security settings for a long time (see screenshot below).
I checked the security settings on each pdf file and they both are showing no security.
I opened the original file using Preview, open the Print window and saved it to PDF under different name and still I can't combine the files. Is there any other way to get this done? I've been searching on Google and this forum for hours and found no solution to my problem.
    Thanks.

    Seriously,
I have the answer!  I have found that Adobe Acrobat X is buggy.
1.) I cannot click on a pdf file in the finder to open in Acrobat X  - I must open the file from within the program.
2.) I cannot combine 2 or more pdf files in Adobe Acrobat X  as the files keep getting stuck on checking for security settings forever.
The FIX is to move back down to Acrobat 8.
Adobe 8 IS available as a FREE download here:

The license key is noted on the web page for Mac and PC

  • Windows Security Group

    Morning \ Afternoon all -
We have a Security Group for our support staff, called 'TechSupport'. If a member of the TechSupport group creates a directory on the file server (running Windows 2012), then you check Properties \ Security, it adds the actual tech username to security
as themselves. Whereas, since they are part of TechSupport, it shouldn't add them.
I'm a Domain Admin, and it doesn't add my actual account.
I'm trying to figure out how to prevent the techs personal account from being added to the security section. Any ideas? Can you help?
    Thanks
    Ivan

Are these folders all under one or more parent folders? If so, configure the ACLs on those higher folders so that when the TechSupport group creates a folder underneath it will inherit the permissions you want it to have.
Mark B. Cooper, President and Founder of PKI Solutions Inc., former Microsoft Senior Engineer and subject matter expert for Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS). Known as “The PKI Guy” at Microsoft for 10 years.
I'll try to explain the best I can. I have a drive (storage array) and it has permissions for all the groups (domain admins, Tech Support Group). Within that drive, I have two directories (Profiles & Docs), thus when a Tech creates a folder within say,
Profiles it SHOULD inherit the permissions from Profiles. Thus is should have Tech Support Group, Domain Admins, etc.
But, when a Tech Support Group person creates a folder within Profiles, it refuses to inherit the same permissions. It merely adds the actual tech's account as list\read only. Hence they can't change the owner, etc. And it doesn't add the group of Tech Support
    to the security. Weird really.
I appreciate the effort and ideas Mark...

  • Windows Security Error when moving files on a file server

We've recently added a new domain to our environment and have migrated user machines onto the new domain. We have a 2008 file server that is still on our old domain. When anyone tries to move a file within that server a Windows Security Error pops up
saying "Your Internet security settings suggest that one or more files may be harmful. Do you want to use it anyway?" This even occurs directly on the server from my old account credentials.
Changing Internet/Intranet zone settings or Enabling Launch applications and unsafe files had no affect. I checked gpresult/rsop local security policies and gp policies all on the client and server side and couldn't find anything that seems related
to this error. Any help would be appreciated.

I was able to solve this by adding our domain suffixes along with a wildcard to trusted sites in internet explorer through group policy.

  • Failures with windows security requirements and binaries installed

We are in the process of getting our application certified for Windows Server 2012 for Gold certification and running into the following 2 issues:
    1. Failure for "Applications must comply with Windows security requirements".
Looks like the MPR tool is trying to scan some .log files and .xml files when the test is running and these are being used/locked by the application at that time. So these are listed under "Checks that didn't complete". attached is a screenshot
    of this.
    2. Failure for "Were any binaries installed for this Component"
This is the log message for "No binaries were detected as installed". Ours is a Java app and Java binaries are the only executables.

  • Adding color to a check window in sap script

    Hi all,
I have a requirement where I need to get the check window printed with a background color-green in SAP scripts. the form i am using is f110_prenum_chck for check printing. Please let me know if I can do that in scripts. I know we can do that in smartforms but not sure about scripts.

It sounds like you need to purchase check stock to match your requirement.  Check stocks have multiple built-in security features as well for check backgrounds.  Otherwise, did you try a plain BMP color logo?

  • T60 not getting past "Checking embedded security chip

Of course my warenty ran out two months ago but this started last week.  It started as Firefox crashing and Act!2005 not starting the SQLSERVER service.  I ran all kinds of anti-virus and malware finders to no avail.
Now, during boot up process, it gets stuck and will not proceed past "Checking embedded security chip" during bootup.
I have researched the issue and tried several things like deactivating the chip and fingerrpint in BIOS but nothing seems to work.  At one point I was able to get to a WINDOWS login where you have to hit CTL-ALT-DELETE and it came up with my user name.  I entered the password I use during a normal login but it failed. I tried my user name@LENOVO-<my computer number> and that did not work either.
I am at the point of backing up through resue/recovery then burning a factory install disk and starting over but I REALLY(!!!) don't want to have to do that.
Any ideas are very much appreciated!

  • Checking for Security Settings...

    Hey all (:
    I'm having difficulties creating PDFs.
    Here's a screenshot of where it's stuck.
What must I do to have it skip that step, or have it working fine...?
    Thanks (:

    No luck... s:
Here's the  Accessibility menu... I don't think I see anything that should block me..
I tried a reduced amount of files, it still just stuck checking the Security Settings of the first file.
I checked all the settings and I don't see any mention of OCR, so I guess it can't be that.
I typed 'security settings' in the help menu and got this:
I checked all the menu's, also nothing weird going on...
I did also get this when typing 'security settings' in the help menu:
'Import Security Settings' might be interesting. Clicking on it opens up a Finder window where I would be able to select some file to import with new security settings...
Maybe if I can get a file with security settings from a computer that does work, it might work, right?
I also checked the 'Advanced Preferences' menu in the 'Security' tab in the settings. They look like this:
    and
Again, nothing suspicious going on... s:

  • Windows Security user name/password prompt when trying to remote access personal cloud storage device

I have 2TB WD Book Live drive setup at home and is working fine, including remote accessing by internet. However using a colleague's computer at the office recently, her computer would always prompt me for Windows Security username and password. I've tried
keying her admin user name/password and well as the router's admin/admin combinations and still doesn't allow me to access the cloud drive properly. However I have had no problem accessing the same drive remotely using other colleagues computers.
The exact message prompt as follows: Windows Security. The server 192.168.1.1 is asking for your user name and password. The server reports that it is from index.htm. WARNING: Your user name and password will be sent using basic authentication on
    a connection that isn't secure.
Please help me understand the problem and its solution. Thank you.

    Hi,
The IP address 192.168.1.1 is your Router server address, isn't it? I doubt there should some limition in your colleague's system. Please check it. Also you can try to disable security software for test to access your cloud.
The problem isn't your cloud server Authorization.

Based on the description of the fail issue, the account failed to log on the server and the fail reason was that Unknown user name or bad password.
From the sub state is 0xc000006a, the description of the sub state is that user name is correct but the password is wrong. I recommend you to check if the password is right.
You can also check the machine's PHS-AERO health by using:
    NLTEST /SC_VERIFY:domain-name
And if the result is SUCCESS, you can also try NLTEST /SC_RESET:domain-name several times to see what happens. The SC_RESET command forces the machine to select a new DC to authenticate against and you should see a random switching between your DCs.

  • Revolve 810 G1 Unlock Computer when in Tablet Mode. Press CTRL-ALT-DEL or Windows Security Button

    1.  I have an Revolve 810 G1
Running Windows 7 Pro (64 Bit).
When I change the screen to Tablet Mode
(Folding tablet over keyboard and using as tablet).
    I lock my computer.
    2.  What to know how to unlock without having to Open back up and use the CTL-Alt-DEL keys.
When Locked screen shows:  Press CTRL-ALT-DEL or use the Windows Security Button to unlock this computer.
I would like to use the Windows Button on the bottom of the screen
(One Used in Windows 8 to change between Desktop and Metro) to Unlock screen And bring up on screen keyboard to put in my password.
This is probably how it should work, but it does not work.
Even bringing up the onscreen keyboard via the blue power button On the screen to Ease Of Access does not work.
The CLT-ALT-DEL on the on screen keyboard will not unlock the screen.
    P.S.
Where is that Windows Security Button when you need it?
    Thanks,
    Rog

If you are using Windows 7 (not Windows 8), you should be able to touch the Ease of Access button at the lower left of the screen, then select Type without the keyboard (On-screen keyboard). When the on-screen keyboard pops-up, press CTRL, then ALT, then DEL. You should get a password prompt; the on-screen keyboard will stay visible unless and until you close it.
