Check Workflow logs

Hi Gurus,
As we can check workflow logs based on the workitems or from the business work place. Is there a way/transaction code to check all the workflows which are currently running/active in the system and to check their respective workflow log.

Hi,
you can see in SWI1 or if you want to see for particular BO, you can go for SWI6. And you can see all the workitems in SWIA.
Or if you want to see for particular task, you can use SWI2_FREQ.

    To check the log of a workflow; you can use transaction codes SWI1 (from the list - switch to log) andsee also other SWI* transactions for the other functionalities.
    You can even switch to the workflow log from the respective application transactions provided there are already workflows executed for that...using business object services...
    SWWL is to delete thr work items data but not for checking the logs.

  • Document change via workflow log.......

    Dear all
    In our scenario, I am creating a word document in workflow.After creation its going to first level approver for his decision.consider he is not executed the doc.
    When I check the status of document from the workflow log(from :Work item executed by me), its allowing me to change the doc.If I made any changes its updating the document,which is already waiting for decision.......Is this correct?Is there any possibilities to restict the document changes from the workflowlog view?
    Not only for Word doc.......other doc also.........

    I feel you can restrict this by putting some authorization. May be there is something you can restrict in the HOLD Document option.

  • Activity step is not visible in workflow log

    Hi All.
    I added two task  in my workflow and transported it to qualityand it got transpported successfully.
    then i triggered the workflow and when i am checking the log
    one of my task is not visible in my log.
    Please guide me in this.

    I feel like you have to re check the activity steps defintion  under the tab Details , in this tab, you have a section Workflow log ---> Graphical represnetation make sure that you hvae selected the In All workflow Logs....
    This could be one of the reason that why the workitem is not appearing in the workflow log....
    And even under the OUTCOMES tab you have a check box where you can say that if this is the outcome then do not display in the workflow log so please even recheck under the outcomes tab of the activity step if any of the check box is enabled please disable it and then try to reimport to the other system and check...

  • Customizing Standard Workflow Log

    Good Morning!
    I'm asking this question from an end user perspective.
    Is there a standard way to bring the workflow log on the main document screen (for example: ME23n) so that user need not navigate to workflow overview?
    Also there are many improvements that are to be done in this view.
    1. Showing the current user name the workitem is sitting with instead of information link.
    2. Showing the workitem processing end date/time alongwith start date/time.
    3. highlighting deadline notifications (to keep the end user happy )
    Can this be achieved?

    The only way I know of is "Development"...."Extensive Development" :-)
    Say, ME23N, check for Screen Exits, then develop Screen code similar to screen 0200 of program SAPLSWI2, with all your add-ons. This would be painful for every type of transactions.
    Users will always want to have everything on one screen, moon and stars and the sun, however, that ain't possible
    Try convincing for standard reporting, for example:
    Frequently workflows in system - SWI2_FREQ
    Work items by deadline monitoring  - SWI2_DEAD
    Work items initiated by ‘Me’ (from SAP Business Workplace – SAP Inbox)
    Workflow in which ‘I’ took a decision/ forwarded (from SAP Business Workplace – SAP Inbox)
    Workflow for a given type Document - SWI6
    Workflow of All documents of a type – SWI14

    My workflow on Document Library needs to keep logs of:
    - When a user is assigned the document for approval/rejection, did he actually open it or download it before approving?
    How to get this information please in workflow logs please? (I know this information exists in SharePoint Audit logs but that does not work for me - I need this in workflow logs).

  • Workflow Log - No proceedings found

    Hi Experts,
    I had developed a simple workflow scenario (SWDD) just to send a mail to inbox which contains only 2 items (in SBWP):
    Accept or Reject.
    I had created the step for User decison & steps for Approval and Reject only.
    Workflow is error free and activated.
    When i see the Graphical workflow log, the green line stopped at the decision step to approve or reject.
    After this, it has to send a mail to SBWP.
    Please tell me if  where i am wrong?

    Please check wether you maintain you Standard task as General Task or not.
    If it is not maintain then it will may give such problem.
    To make it General task
    additional data->agent assignment -Maintain
    as general task

    1. Check the item is assigned to that org where you are creating order.
    2. Check the item attributes and warehouse default if any.

  • Hirarchical view of agents in workflow log

    Hi,
    some users in the system when they go to se the agents from a workitem in SWI1 they see them in a hierarchical view. And some other users can see the same agents but as a list of agents, that0s they way I wanted always to be.
    Do you know which user-secific parameter do I have to modify to always see a list of agents instead of a hirarchical iew of them?

    Then I think you ought to play with the Personal Workflow Settings - or check to see if there is any clue there - ie: do the users who see the agents the way you want have the same personal workflow settings?

    I've got a error msg when try to generate a report using Cisco history report tool:

    It only happens when choose report template: ICD_Contact_Service_Queue_Activity_by_CSQ_en_us.
    User tried samething on other PC, it working fine.
    only on user' own PC and only choose this report, error appears.
    user runing windows 7 and do not have crystal report installed
    tried reinstalled the software, doesn't work.

    I am getting an error message "All available connections to database server are in use by other client machines. Please try again later and check the log file for error 5054"  when trying to log into HRC (This user has the reporting capabilities) . I checked the log files this is what i found out 
    The log file stated that there were ongoing connections of HRC with the CCX  (I am sure there isn't any active login to HRC)
    || When you tried to login the following error was being displayed because the maximum number of connections were reached for the server .  We can see that a total number of 5 connections have been configured . ||

    What is the OS version of the PC you are running  and is it physical machine or virtual machine that is running the HRC client ..
    OS Version Windows 7 Home Premium  64 bit and it’s a physical machine.
    . The Max DB Connections for Report Client Sessions is set to 5 for each servers (There are two servers). The no of HR Sessions is set to 10.
    I wanted to know if there is a way to find the HRC sessions active now and terminate the one or more or all of that sessions from the server end ? 

    We have had this "PRX5" problem with Exchange 2013 since the RTM version.  We recently applied CU3, and it did not correct the problem.  We have seen this problem on every Exchange 2013 we manage.  They are all installations where all roles
    are installed on the same Windows server, and in our case, they are all Windows virtual machines using Windows 2012 Hyper-V.
    We have tried all the "this fixed it for me" solutions regarding DNS, network cards, host file entries and so forth.  None of those "solutions" made any difference whatsoever.  The occurrence of the temporary error PRX5 seems totally random. 
    About 2 out of 20 incoming mail test by Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer fail with this PRX5 error.
    Most people don't ever notice the issue because remote mail servers retry the connection later.  However, telephone voice mail systems that forward voice message files to email, or other such applications such as your scanner, often don't retry and
    simply fail.  Our phone system actually disables all further attempts to send voice mail to a particular user if the PRX5 error is returned when the email is sent by the phone system.
    Is Microsoft totally oblivious to this problem?
    PRX5 is a serious issue that needs an Exchange team resolution, or at least an acknowledgement that the problem actually does exist and has negative consequences for proper mail flow.

  • Recipients view in workflow log

    Hi all,
    Today I noticed that Recipients list in workflow log for a particular task looks different if I log on with two different users.
    For example I have a decision step with two possible agents US 00000001 and US 00000002.
    If I logon with my user id I see recipients list like this:
    Approval process
    |--> US 00000001
    |--> US 00000002
    But If logon with another user id I see recipient list like this:
    US 00000001
    |--> US 00000002
    Do you know if it is something related with configuration?
    If yes what should we do to change it?

    One problem is that I can not identify the script because it was not created by me, as I understand this calc is implicit in planning, only runs when you select the option "mass allocate".
    The published extract was obtained from the log of the application in which the calculation is running, this was extracted from essbase directory that hosts the application.
