Checkbox checked for a particular rowid

Hi,
I'm using APEX 4.1
I have a page with checkboxes (Interactive Report Page) and a DML Form page for creating/editing lines.
I check one record, and press a button that open that DML Form page.
When I'm returning to the first page, I want that record checked by default.
Source of ReportPage is:
SELECT
APEX_ITEM.CHECKBOX(1, ROWID, null) chk,
col1,
col2,
ROWID
FROM table
What is the JavaScript code to check that column again (based on rowid selecetd before) on returning to the Interactive Report Page?
Thx in advance,
Rad.

Hi Scott,
This checking should happened only if a specific button is pressed.
So, on Report Page I choose a line, press that button and memorize rowid in a page or an application variable.
DML Form is opened, then I close it and return to the Report Page. I need that line (having that rowid) to stay checked.
I should define another column, then for that rowid I should update the value of that column, and then check or uncheck records based on column values when page loading?
I'm a newbie and I don't find where to put your code.
Rad.

    Hi Kapil,
Threre are some material for which D-Chain status ( MVKE-VMSTA) in the materila master are set in such a way so that deliveries can not be created. We need to bypass this restriction for couple of delivery types. One of them is the delivery type used for intracompany STO.

There is a prodn order being created for a particular material which consumes materials from RJ01 "ONLY".

    Hi,
In the definition of scope of check for that checking group and rule (transaction OVZ9) make sure that the flag of "no storage location inspection is NOT SET.
... and of course that there's a storage location definition in the production order component.

  • How to make "check for multiple logons" mandatory in webdynpro application.

    Hi SDN members,
Im having a problem with an application developed in webdynpro abap.
We require that  end-user only have a session per computer (ip address),
I already tried to achieve this by configuring the webdynpro application throguh SICF and going to Error Pages -> Logon Errors --> System Logon and mark the checkbox Check for multiple logons.
This configurations give only a warning when the user logs multiple times, and show a checkbox letting the user decide to end or not the previous sessions.
How to make end previuos sessions mandatory ??
    Regards,
    Franklin Cedillo

You would have to enforce this at the application level. You can get the IP address of the current client from the framework - IF_WD_APPLICATION method GET_REMOTE_ADDRESS.
You could write an entry with the IP address into a temporary table during WDDOINIT.  You could clear the entry in the WDDOEXIT.  Also during the WDDOINIT, check to see if there is already an entry for this IP address.  If so, then fire an exit nagivation plug to a static MIME object or BSP page that explains why the user can only be logged in once.

  • Authorization check For T code

    Hi everyone,
Can anybody guide to set a  authorization check  for a particular Tcode.
I have ztable where users are assigned particular numbers.
I want the users who are assigned some numbers should be able to use this particular t code
    Thanks in advance

    hi
    chk this out
    AUTHORITY-CHECK
    Basic form
    AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT object
        ID name1  FIELD f1
        ID name2  FIELD f2
        ID name10 FIELD f10.
    Effect
    Explanation of IDs:
    object
Field which contains the name of the object for which the authorization is to be checked.
    name1 ...
Fields which contain the names of the
    name10
authorization fields defined in the object.
    f1 ...
Fields which contain the values for which the
    f10
    authorization is to be checked.
AUTHORITY-CHECK checks for one object whether the user has an authorization that contains all values of f (see SAP authorization concept).
You must specify all authorizations for an object and a also a value for each ID (or DUMMY).
The system checks the values for the IDs by AND-ing them together, i.e. all values must be part of an authorization assigned to the user.
If a user has several authorizations for an object, the values are OR-ed together. This means that if the CHECK finds all the specified values in one authorization, the user can proceed. Only if none of the authorizations for a user contains all the required values is the user rejected.
If the return code value in SY-SUBRC is 0, the user has the required authorization and may continue.
The return code value changes according to the different error scenarios. The return code values have the following meaning:
    4
User has no authorization in the SAP System for such an action. If necessary, change the user master record.
    8
Too many parameters (fields, values). Maximum allowed is 10.
    12
Specified object not maintained in the user master record.
    16
No profile entered in the user master record.
    24
The field names of the check call do not match those of an authorization. Either the authorization or the call is incorrect.
    28
Incorrect structure for user master record.
    32
Incorrect structure for user master record.
    36
Incorrect structure for user master record.
If the return code value is 8 or 24, inform the person responsible for the program. If the return code value is 4, 12, 16 or 24, consult your system administrator if you think you should have the relevant authorization. In the case of errors 28 to 36, contact SAP because authorizations have probably been destroyed.
Individual authorizations are assigned to users in their respective user profiles, i.e. they are grouped together in profiles which are stored in the user master record.
    Note
Instead of ID name FIELD f, you can also write ID name DUMMY. This means that no check is performed for the field concerned.
The check can only be performed on CHAR fields. All other field types result in 'unauthorized'.
    Example
Check whether the user is authorized for a particular plant. In this case, the following authorization object applies:
Table OBJ: Definition of authorization object
    M_EINF_WRK
       ACTVT
       WERKS
Here, M_EINF_WRK is the object name, whilst ACTVT and WERKS are authorization fields. For example, a user with the authorizations
    M_EINF_WRK_BERECH1
       ACTVT 01-03
       WERKS 0001-0003 .
can display and change plants within the Purchasing and Materials Management areas.
Such a user would thus pass the checks
    AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'M_EINF_WRK'
        ID 'WERKS' FIELD '0002'
        ID 'ACTVT' FIELD '02'.
    AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'M_EINF_WRK'
        ID 'WERKS' DUMMY
        ID 'ACTVT' FIELD '01':
    but would fail the check
    AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'M_EINF_WRK'
        ID 'WERKS' FIELD '0005'
        ID 'ACTVT' FIELD '04'.
To suppress unnecessary authorization checks or to carry out checks before the user has entered all the values, use DUMMY - as in this example. You can confirm the authorization later with another AUTHORITY-CHECK

  • Is there any way to force a Role Check for authorization from a Ztable

    Hi all,
I have an issue that deals with Authorization check using a role. I have to know if there is any way to make a Role force to check if an entry exists in a Ztable.
Eg. A User is assigned a role Z:Ztable_check. Can we now force this Role to somehow check for a particular entry in a Ztable which has a Username and its Corresponding Authorized Cost center. Can the role check from the Ztable and allow the user to view only those cost centers that he is allowed to.
Don't know if this is even theoretically possible.

    <b>The SAP Authorization Concept
Authorization checks are a means of protecting functions or objects in the R/3 System. The programmer of the function determines where and how these checks are made, while the user administrator determines (within the framework defined by the programmer) who can execute a function or access an object.
The terms central to the SAP authorization concept are:
    Authorization field
This is the smallest unit against which checks can be made. The programmer can create authorization fields by selecting Tools &#8594; ABAP Workbench &#8594; Development &#8594; Other tools &#8594; Authorization objs &#8594; Fields.
    Example: ACTVT and CUSTTYPE.
    Authorization object
An authorization object groups together 1 to 10 authorization fields which can then be checked as a combination. The programmer can create authorization fields by selecting Tools &#8594; ABAP Workbench &#8594; Development &#8594; Other tools &#8594; Authorization objs &#8594; Objects.
Example: The authorization objekt S_TRVL_BKS groups together the authorization fields ACTVT and CUSTTYPE.
    Authorization
An authorization is a combination of permitted values for each authorization field of an authorization object. The user administrator creates authorizations by selecting Tools &#8594; Administration &#8594; Maintain users &#8594; Authorization.
    Example:
S_TRVL_CUS1 is an authorization for the authorization object S_TRVL_BKS with the values
    for customer type (CUSTTYPE) and
    02 for activity (ACTVT).
Users who have this authorization are allowed to change the bookings of all customers.
S_TRVL_CUS2 is an authorization for the authorization object S_TRVL_BKS with the values
B for customer type (CUSTTYPE) and
    03 for activity (ACTVT).
Users who have this authorization are allowed to display the postings of all customers.
    Authorization profile
An authorization profile represents a simple workplace in the context of authorizations. An authorization profile contains authorizations for the authorization objects a user needs to operate effectively in a restricted task area. The user administrator creates authorizations by selecting Tools &#8594; Administration &#8594; Maintain users &#8594; Profiles.
    User master record
Your user master record is checked when you logon to the R/3 system. Through the authorization profiles, this provides restricted access to the functions and objects of the R/3 System. The user administrator creates authorizations by selecting Tools &#8594; Administration &#8594; Maintain users &#8594; Users.
    Authorization check
The programmer can perform authorization checks with the ABAP command AUTHORITY-CHECK by specifying the value to be checked for each authorization field defined. The system then scans the profiles in the user master record for the authorizations specified. If one of the authorizations found for all fields of the authorization object covers the values specified by AUTHORITY-CHECK, the check was successful.
Example: Check whether the user is allowed to change the postings of business customers:
    AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'S_TRVL_BKS'
                    ID 'ACTVT'    FIELD '02'
                    ID 'CUSTTYPE' FIELD 'B'.
    IF SY-SUBRC <> 0.
      MESSAGE E...
    ENDIF.
If the authorization S_TRVL_CUS1 exists in the user's master record, the authorization check is successful. However, if the authorization S_TRVL_CUS2 exists, but not the authorization S_TRVL_CUS1, the check fails.
    Authorization assignment
The system administrator is responsible for assigning user master records with the correct authorizations. You should use the Profile Generator to maintain authorization profiles. However, you can also change them manually. Each authorization object contains authorizations. These are grouped together in authorization profiles such that each authorization profile represents a job description, for example 'flight reservations clerk'. You assign one or more authrization profiles to each user master record. You can assign an authorization to as many authorization profiles as you like, and an authorization profile to as many composite profiles and users as you like. Composite profiles are used in manual authorization maintenance, and form a further division in the authorization structure. However, they are not strictly necessary.
                      User master record
                    Auth. profile  Composite auth. profile
               Authorization              Auth. profile
                 Values              Authorization
                                   Values</b>

  • How to Disable CheckBox for a Particular Condition

    Hi All,
In my application, iam using one table having 5rows , with checkboxes,
based on one condition i want to  make few checkboxes as default disable in the same table, and some checkboxes i shud make it as enable, so experts please help me how to disable some checkboxes.
disable means even if we select it shud not get selected, like that is it possible,

    Hi Sushma,
You can have one more attribute in the same node from where you are populating the table and bind this boolean attribute to the enabled property of your CheckBox.
and by looping thriugh the table you can check for conditions and based on it set the Enability of the checkbox.
    for (int iRowsCount =0;iRowsCount < wdContext.node<name>().size();iRowsCount++)
    if (condition)
// Disabling the Checkbox based on the condition
    wdContext.node<name>().get<name>ElementAt(iRowsCount).set<BooleanAttributeName>(false);
    Hope this helps!!

    Hi
In general different users will be given different authorizations based on their role in the orgn.
We create ROLES and assign the Authorization and TCODES for that role, so only that user can have access to those T Codes.
USe SUIM and SU21 T codes for this.
Much of the data in an R/3 system has to be protected so that unauthorized users cannot access it. Therefore the appropriate authorization is required before a user can carry out certain actions in the system. When you log on to the R/3 system, the system checks in the user master record to see which transactions you are authorized to use. An authorization check is implemented for every sensitive transaction.
If you wish to protect a transaction that you have programmed yourself, then you must implement an authorization check.
This means you have to allocate an authorization object in the definition of the transaction.
    For example:
    program an AUTHORITY-CHECK.
    AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT <authorization object>
    ID <authority field 1> FIELD <field value 1>.
    ID <authority field 2> FIELD <field value 2>.
    ID <authority-field n> FIELD <field value n>.
The OBJECT parameter specifies the authorization object.
The ID parameter specifies an authorization field (in the authorization object).
The FIELD parameter specifies a value for the authorization field.
The authorization object and its fields have to be suitable for the transaction. In most cases you will be able to use the existing authorization objects to protect your data. But new developments may require that you define new authorization objects and fields.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/52/67167f439b11d1896f0000e8322d00/content.htm
To ensure that a user has the appropriate authorizations when he or she performs an action, users are subject to authorization checks.
Authorization : An authorization enables you to perform a particular activity in the SAP System, based on a set of authorization object field values.
You program the authorization check using the ABAP statement AUTHORITY-CHECK.
    AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT 'S_TRVL_BKS'
    ID 'ACTVT' FIELD '02'
    ID 'CUSTTYPE' FIELD 'B'.
    IF SY-SUBRC <> 0.
    MESSAGE E...
    ENDIF.
    'S_TRVL_BKS' is a auth. object
ID 'ACTVT' FIELD '02' in place 2 you can put 1,2, 3 for change create or display.
The AUTHORITY-CHECK checks whether a user has the appropriate authorization to execute a particular activity.
This Authorization concept is somewhat linked with BASIS people.
As a developer you may not have access to access to SU21 Transaction where you have to define, authorizations, Objects and for nthat object you assign fields and values. Another Tcode is PFCG where you can assign these authrization objects and TCodes for a  profile and that profile in turn attached to a particular user.
Take the help of the basis Guy and create and use.
