  • Checking of Radiobutton Group selection

    Hi,
I have a screen wherein i have 3 Radiobuttons wrapped in radiobutton group and  2 input fileds. Whenever i select  1st radiobutton on the screen then 1st imput field should be enabled and the other field should be disabled.
if i click second radiobutton then 2nd field should be enabled and first one should be disabled. if i click 3rd radiobutton then two of the fields should be enabled.
I have tried using onClick event for radiobuttongroup but ended up in Portal Runtime Exception. May be, i'm not using the event in a correct way ?. Should we use onClick event of RadiobuttonGroup or is there any other way to achieve the same ? . Would be happy if you can send code snippet for reference
    Any ideas/help would be rewarded..

  • Radio button and selection screen

    hi
my requirement is that if the user enters some particular combination of value in the select options and clicks a particular radio button there should be an error message displayed.
    1)  I am getting the error message in the form a dialog box , but it has only option of  exit , and the user is thrown of the screen. my requirement is that after the error message the user must still be at the same screen so that he can enter new values.
    2)  the code that i have written also has one more anamoly that the displaying of error depends upon the sequence of  actions .
if  i enter the value in the select option first and then click the radio button then the error message is displayed which is correct.
but it doesnt work i click the radio button first and then enter the value, the program is executed and NO ERROR message is flashed.
here is what i have written

  • Error in generating data source from planning area

Hi experts! I have an error while making data source from planning area:
after the screen when i fill in the data source name (Window name: Generate export data source) i have the SYNTAX_ERROR Message:
    Syntax error in program /sapapo/cl_im_extract_ex======cp
the main reason: the type /BI0/9A0IVWKNDGD is unknown
what you can suggest to solve this problem?
    Thanks.

    Dear Andrey Kudriavzev,
The reason is the program is trying to use the datatype '/BI0/9A0IVWKNDGD' which does not exist in the system.
Go SE11 to cross check if it exists. Check dataelement radiobutton -> enter /BI0/9A0IVWKNDGD -> Choose display option. You would need to create this datatype in the system. I feel there must some OSS Note related to this.
Search for an OSS Note. Raise one if you cannot find the relevant notes.
    Regards,
    Naveen.

  • Help needed for  ItemListeners for Choice Boxes

    Hi,
I am new to AWT prgramming .
I have created a menu called " Menu System Test window " and it contains toplevel menu items of "File" and "Help" and File Menu contains subitems "Product Evaluation" and "Exit".
When i click File->Product Evaluation it displays a new Frame named "ProductEvaluationMeasurementTool" with some check boxes ,radiobuttons, buttons , text fields and choice lists.
I have added action listeners for Buttons ie Button1 and Button2 and they are working fine.
My question is how can i add ItemListener for Choice list so that when i select Choice1 in my program it should display a new Frame Window. i am sending the code .

    Hi,
I am new to AWT prgramming .
    Thanks in advance

  • Help Needed with Itemlsteners for Choice in AWT

    Hi,
I am new to AWT prgramming .
I have created a menu called " Menu System Test window " and it contains toplevel menu item "File" and File Menu contains subitems "Product Evaluation" and "Exit".
When i click File->Product Evaluation it displays a new Frame named "ProductEvaluationMeasurementTool" with some check boxes ,radiobuttons, buttons , text fields and choice lists.
The two Choices ie c1 and c2 contains items choice,choice2 and scale 1 and scale 2 respectively and i have added ItemListeners for both the choices.
My question is when i select Both choice1 and scale 1 it shoulddisplay a new frame.
(NOTE : THE NEW FRAME SHOULD BE DISPLAYED IF I SELECT BOTH CHOICE1 AND SCALE1 NOT EITHER CHOICE1 OR SCALE1)
Similarly when i select Both choice2 and scale2 it should display another new frame. How can i do that? i am sending my code.
    Thanks in advance

The easy answer is that you need to add state to one of your classes. What does this mean? Somewhere you will have to keep track of which items are selected in each Choice. There are a lot of ways to do this. One way is to pass a reference for each Choice, ie, c1 and c2, in to the constructor of MyItemListener and for each ItemEvent.SELECTED type of event:
    1 - check the selected item of each Choice and see if they have the same ending number, or are the same index in an array kept in your MyItemListener class or ... many ways;
2 - decide what to do depending on what you find after checking.
Since you have a separate class for the ItemListener this might be a good place to keep track of the selection status of the two Choice components. The member variables you use to keep track of things is the state.
Another thing to consider is whether to add a separate listener to each Choice or to create a single instance and add it to each component. If you add a separate one then the Choice selections won't know about each other - each separate listener receives events from only one of the components. If you use a single instance for both components then you can get selection information from each of the Choice components. This way you can track things, or keep state, inside the class.
I abbreviated the class name so you can run this without name-clashing in your computer.

  • Help needed to extract a value from Textfield

    Hi,
I am new to AWT prgramming .
I have created a menu called " Menu System Test window " and it contains toplevel menu item "File" and File Menu contains subitems "Product Evaluation" and "Exit".
When i click File->Product Evaluation it displays a new Frame named "ProductEvaluationMeasurementTool" with some check boxes ,radiobuttons, buttons , text fields.
After compiling the program if i check some check boxes and radiobuttons and press Button1 it displays the result as no of checkboxes checked divided by total no of checkboxes(which i have declared as 18 in my code) in textField1.
I also have textField2 for entering user input.
now my question is after compiling program i check some checkboxes , enter some value in textField2 and press Button2. The result should be diplayed as no of checkboxes checked plus the value added in textField2 divided by total no of checkboxes(which is 18 in my code) . This result should be displayed in textField3.
    Can anyone help me?
    Thanks in advance
    i am sending my code.

  • SQ02-Query error-'Commentary Query_head or Query_body is missing'.

    Hi,
Has any body tried this. I've setup the structure and written the ABAP code for data retrevial.
I then create the infoset using transaction SQ02, Checked the radiobutton Data retrevial by program in the first screen with the structure name and external ABAP Program name which are created earlier.
Then get into the Change infoset but when I try to activate or generate the infset I get a generation error in the retrival program as 'Commentary <Query_head> or<Query_body> is missing'.
I cannot find any sap docs on this and hope someeone has an answer or some sample code.
    Regards,
    Rajesh

The create and running of an external program must have a certain structure.  See the documentation for creating the program at

  • Alv Output after dynamic selection screen

    Hi Guys
I have coded a dynamic selection screen (shown below). I want to create an ALV report based on what the user enters in the selection screen. Is the right way of doing this to code an IF s_matnr is not initial statement then call all the subroutines for output of material data and then else call a second batch of subroutines for billing data. It seems a bit long winded to me but I haven't been able to find anything on google that clearly explains the approach.
    REPORT  ZTREVOR_DYNAMIC_ALV_MAKT_VBRP.
    TABLES : makt,
    marc,
    t001w,
    vbrk,
    vbrp.
    CONSTANTS : c_yes TYPE c VALUE '1',
    c_no TYPE c VALUE '0'.
Selection-screen begin of block b1 with frame title text-sc1.
    PARAMETERS : p_opt1 TYPE c RADIOBUTTON GROUP radi USER-COMMAND op1, "Material
p_opt2 TYPE c RADIOBUTTON GROUP radi.                  "Billing Document
    Selection-screen end of block b1.
Selection-screen begin of block b2 with frame title text-sc2.
    SELECT-OPTIONS : s_matnr FOR makt-matnr MODIF ID op1, "Material
s_vbeln FOR vbrp-vbeln MODIF ID op2. "Billing Document
    Selection-screen end of block b2.
    T SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT.
    LOOP AT SCREEN .
    IF screen-group1 = 'OP1' .
    IF p_opt1 = 'X' .
    screen-invisible = c_no .
    screen-active = c_yes .
    ELSE.
    screen-invisible = c_yes .
    screen-active = c_no .
    ENDIF.
    MODIFY SCREEN .
    ENDIF.
    IF screen-group1 = 'OP2' .
    IF p_opt2 = 'X' .
    screen-invisible = c_no .
    screen-active = c_yes .
    ELSE.
    screen-invisible = c_yes .
    screen-active = c_no .
    ENDIF.
    MODIFY SCREEN .
    ENDIF.
    ENDLOOP.

    Hi,
First of all, you should check your radiobutton instead of select-option...
Then you will have to build the output internal table dynamically based on the option chosen. There are lot of example on SDN...

            endif.
            modify screen.
          when 'MTA'.
            if  p_new is initial.
              screen-input = '0'.
              screen-required = '0'.
              screen-invisible = '1'.
            endif.
            modify screen.
        endcase.
      endloop.
Reward Points if it is useful
