Need to develop a report for checking balance with asset register  and Trial balance. Now asset balances and TB is not matching. We need report at Plant level. pls suggest

In the most reports you can select current book value (you first have to select ALL SELSECTIONS)
These values are the same as on FI on your G/L accounts

  • Difference between Asset Register and Trial Balance

    Hai Guys,
    Our client went live in the year 1999. At present they are in Ver. 6.0 but New GL is not activated.
    There is a situation where some of the Asset accounts have a difference between the amounts shown by the Asset Register and the amounts shown by the Trial Balance.
    The issue was written to SAP support team. I was told about a special T code (ABF1) which is not available through the standard menu. But the same can be used only if we need to change the GL in line with the Asset accounting and that too if the GL balance is less than the Asset accounting balance. But, in our case, the situation is such that the GL figures have been freezed for the year end and cannot be changed.
    In such a situation, SAP support replied me about a program RACORR05 which will give the missing line items in asset accounting. If I run the same, it is giving a output of some document numbers and I am not exactly understanding the same.
    The balance has been carried over for quiet some years and it is of no used to go into those years and find out the reason for the difference. Now, the Asset accounting is to be set in line with the GL balances and that too without hitting the GL balances by any way. I know that the same is difficult.
    But will any of you be able to help me in this regard as I have tried all ways out but could not find a solution.

    Thanks for your reply. I have already gone through the note 69225. In our case, the requirement is to align the Asset Accounting without hitting the GL balances of the concerned assets which is a difficult situation. When contacted, the SAP Support team has given a program RACORR05, which outputs some list of documents which are existing both in GL and AA. I do not understand the output. I have seen all the related notes in this regard. The difference has been carried over for quiet some years and there is no use in going into the details of the reason for the difference as the years are already closed.
    The total difference as between asset Register and GL is around 55 lacs (GL balance is less than asset register balance) and the difference in accum. depreciation is around 43 Crores (!!!!!!!!) (Balance as per Asset Register is less than the GL balance).
    Is there any way out to resolve this. can I handle this using AS92 (Legacy asset transfer values). But I need to change the Legacy asset transfer date for this. I hope the same is not advisable in a live company code. Please comment on the same as to whether it can be done.

    There is a script in the link which provides you the determination of the database or the system which could present inconsistent inventory values between stock audit reports and general ledger stock accounts, resulting in potential asset valuation discrepancies.

  • Balance Sheet is different from Trial Balance

    Have a client that is on SQL 2005, SAP B1 8.8 PL 10  They are in an audit and when running their Balance Sheet their Purchases Clearing u2013 Allocation Account is showing a $0.01 balance.  Yet when they run the Trial Balance Report it does not show up.  Also when reviewing the journal entries for the Purchases Clearing u2013 Allocation Account there is no discrepancy there.  We have pulled a copy of their DB over to our test box with the same setup and the issue still happens.  Updated to PL 17, still the same issue.  Again the client is in an audit at this time.

    Issue was opened with SAP.  There was issue with certain Journal Entries where there is a difference of cents in the Local and the System Currency. However, the System Currency and the local Currency is same i.e. US Dollars.
    They sent a script that was run on the clients db to resolve the issue.

  • Problem with document splitting and zero balance clearing account

    Hi SAP Gurus,
    We've already configured the document splitting functionality in our project, however we still encounter some issues with the outcome of posting documents. For some scenarios, the document split functionality seem to work. Below is such example
    Scenario # 1
    Entry View:
    40  Expense (cost ctr 0001)

    GL view:
    40 Expense (cost ctr 0001)
    31 AP (cost ctr 0001)
    However, whenever 2 GL items are included in the document, the document split functionality acts differently.

    I've done the below configuration and assigned cost/profit center update. It now works for profit center split. It still does not split accordingly per cost center though.
    SAP Customizing Implementation Guide > Financial Accounting (New) > Financial Accounting Global Settings (New) > Ledgers >Ledger > Assign Scenarios and Customer Fields to Ledgers
    In the below configuration, cost center is not an available option. Unlike the profit center which is available here.
    SAP Customizing Implementation Guide > Financial Accounting (New) > General Ledger Accounting (New) > Business Transactions > Document Splitting > Define Document Splitting Characteristics for General Ledger Accounting
    The profit center split looks fine now, however the cost center split still is only reflected in the expense items and not on the AP item.
    Any ideas on how to actually split the AP line items according to the cost center assignments ?

    we will deploy a new DC as Active/Active.
    We will have ISPA and ISP B in each DC. Internet users are anybody in the internet coming to our e-commerce DC application.
    How could we do load balancing between ISPs using the ASR9001 and nV feature ?
    There is any IOS-XR feature that could help us about to do load balancing between ISPs?

    You have 2 options here Jordi, either you can use BGP loadbalancing, this requires multipath as BGP by default would only install one route from the BGP table to the RIB hence FIB.
    But this may result in excessive IRL (inter rack link) usage in the cluster when traffic coming in on rack0 wants to take the bGP path out on rack1
    You could also use ABF (access-list based forwarding) to forcelly push traffic received on rack0 out on the link on rack0 and use an ipsla tracker to fallback to rack1 in case the uplink is gone.
    Alternatively to extend this by IGP signaling to redirect traffic preferably to rack1 to start with to minimize the IRL usage.
    And then you also have the ability to use RPL in the uplink path to make one link more preferred on teh internet then the other in case you want to control a bit which link is preferably used on rack0 or rack1

  • Dual ISP load balancing with 2 routers and 2 FW without using BGP

    Based on the attachment diagram, is the design viable?
    Do anyone has a similar deployment before and can you share with me the config guide to this because I'm at lost on a few configs:
    1. On core switch A and B, I understood we need to have a default route pointing to the firewall interface. For this case, I have different IPs for the same context on both the firewalls.
    So, how should the config be?
    CoreSW_A(config)#ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 192.168.1.110
    CoreSW_A(config)#ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 192.168.1.111
    I don't think the above will work as the core switch will load balance the traffic to both firewalls even if one of the context is on standby mode?
    2. The area from the firewall to the internet would all be public IP. Thus, if i put a switch in between the firewall and the router, then i would waste some public IP addresses but if i remove the switch, I would not have enough ports on the ASA firewall. What is the best recommended solution for this?
    3. How do I load balance traffic to both R1 and R2 to their respective ISPs without using BGP? I may be using only a 2811 router.

    For policy based routing, I would need to create route maps on the core switch itself right?
    Correct me if I'm wrong, if i use route-maps, i would be assigning e.g. internal network A to go through firewall context A and internal network B to go through firewall context B.
    Context A will only have path to Router A and context B will only have path to Router B. But if router B goes down, network B won't be able to access the Internet, right?
    I'm not sure whether it's a PI or PA for this as the ISP will assign us a block of IP address, for example 202.111.1.8/29 (these IPs can be used for webservers, etc). There will also be a public IP of /30 on the serial interface to connect to their router.

  • Fixed Assets beginning and ending balance on depreciation

    Ending depreciation of previous year is not being carried over to the beginning depreciation of this year. GL balance is fine. But when I run any asset balance report or asset explorer, I see the ending balance of depreciation is different than the beginning balance.
    For example - if 2010 ending depreciation is $5000.00, $5000.00 should be the beginning depreciation for 2011 - instead it's shows a different amount.

    That means there is pending depreciation to be posted in 2010... Did you do any back dated capitalizations in 2010 or any change of dep Key??
    If you have not yet executed Dep for 2011, execute Dep for P12/2010 in REPEAT mode.. Else, execute AFAB P13/2010 as per note 619969 and see if the Posted & Planned values reconcile or not

    Is there any special configuration? Or just config rewrite rules?
    Something like this:

  • Difference in closing balance of last year and opening balance of next year

    when i see the cumulative balances of bank g/l in T.code-FS10N for the last year and see the balance carried forward in this year , i have found a small amount of difference of Rs.300. I have checked the line item balances and it is showing the balances of last year only. Can anybody please tell me the reason of such difference . Is it a normal feature?

    Please carry forward the balance once again, then check.

  • Issue with SPA525g registation and FXO port call calls are not disconnecting properly

    I  have a UC540 and updated it to the latest IOS version with the latest  firmware to my phones and i am having registration problems with SPA525g  IP Phones. I updated the firmware of the phones as well and create  manual tftp bindings with but still it is not registering. I run a  couple of debugs (debug tftp events and debug ephone registration) I can  see from the logs and in the phone that it is taking the proper VLAN  and being discovered via CDP and being pointed to the TFTP server and  still wont register. I can see that it is also taking its own .cnf file  properly then the output sccp token regected invalid devices error is  shown I have a SPA502G and it is working fine. Also there is a previous  issue that all the voice port are shown as engage or offhook even the  calls are disconnected thus make the main PSTN number busy am based in  UAE and our service provider is etisalat I have check with them about  the proper disconnection values but still it the same. That's why I have  arrived in the conclusion to just update everything including the IOS  and the phones firmware. I have put my config in this post, I am also  trying to take the CCNA Voice exam on the 2nd week of april and I think  that if i don't know how fix this issue for our customer then I would  probably fail that exam. any suggestion and help is greatly appreciated  cisco experts.

    Nicolo - First off this stuff gets crazy sometimes.  No worries about the exam.  Sometimes when FXO ports go crazy it is due to battery reversal.  If you go to the FXO port settings try turning battery reversal on and or off... depending on its current setting.  See if that helps. 
    As for the 525s not registering..  These are inside the network correct?  Are you connecting one directly to the UC500 with a Cat5E or Cat6 patch cable and the same thing happens?  Does the MAC address on the phone match a MAC address under the EPHONE settings? 
    If you telnet into the UC500 can you execute a "dir" command at the CLI prompt and "CD" (change directory) into the phones folder and then the spa525g folder?  Do files exist in there? 
    Also I only see an IP address under BVI100?  This is the voice side of things what happened to the IP address under BVI1 (Data VLAN).  Can you give us some information about the internal network?  Cna you PING this phone system from the network?  What IP address does it have?

        In ANEk table ,check field BELNR . the number may be a material document no or Fi Doc no. if it is material doc no then try MIGO - Display -> doc info ->press FI Document.
    Or directly try with fb03.
    Or in BKPf table there will be field awkey. in that field give material doc no and material year combinely , then you will get FI Doc No. then go with bseg table.
