Checking blacklist IP in Security Intelligence Feed

Hi Everyone,
I read that Security Intelligence Feed download IPs that have bad reputation from Sourcefire cloud.
But when I click on Security intelligence feeds I see no IP address.
Does anyone can please tell me where I can find blacklist IP's ?

The security intelligence data is considered proprietary and so the content of those lists is not made public.

Do you mean names and passwords in the Password Manager or do you mean that you are no longer logged on to (remembered by) websites after closing and restarting Firefox?
If the latter happens then you have a problem with cookies that are not kept or the file that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie that you must allow: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Exceptions"
Make sure that you do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the 'Cookies' and the 'Site Preferences'.
Make sure that you not run Firefox in [[Private Browsing]] mode.
In Private Browsing mode some menu items are disabled (grayed) and some features like visited links and others are disabled and not working.
You are in Private Browsing mode if you see "Tools > Stop Private Browsing".

SourceFire Defense Center Security Intelligence Events to External Syslog server

Hi,
I want to forward Security Intelligence Events to Syslog server, is it possible to do from Virtual Defense Center.
I also wanted to forward system logs to Syslog server but it seems you cant forward it to syslog server and how to access Sourcefire Series 3 managed Appliances via SCP, if any one knows how to do it kindly let me know.

I have set up to send email and syslog messages from the RME applications. LMS server immediately started to send messages to the email server but syslog messages are not forwarded to the syslog server. Everything was done according to your instructions except that the name of the first script (syslog_forward.pl) is made consistent with what the second script (.bat) refer to (forward1.pl). What's the problem? Do RME sends the standard syslog messages via UDP port 514?

On my macbook pro
I'm try to set up a new Epson printer SX 445 to my router/network but each time I run the set up wizard it fails to complete saying Security Key/Password Check fail.
*entered security key/password does not match the one set for for router.
I know that the password is correct and have rechecked this by changing it a few times
and I still get the same result.
My network internet service provider is not interested and says to call Epson.
Anybody have any clues how I can resolve this?

I personally suggest the new Drobo FS. Since it has an iTunes server built in and you can use any size sata hard drive in it it is better and a NAS that has to use the same size drives.

Can't watch security camera feeds in Safari

I got a Security Camera system, I can watch the video feeds from the computer just fine (thru Safari), but when I try to check it in the iPhone, using Safari, I can see the interface (it's a website) but none of the videos show up.
The videos are in Quicktime, which is weird, I should be able to see them in the iPhone. What could be wrong?

for ex, i have 2 types of users
normal user and super user
super user can see the group set (some column name) created by normal user
but normal user can not see the set created by super user
this set crestion aslso has 3 types "U','P',S'
P & S can be viewed by even normal user
but U should not
so here we are having some row level security for the normal user .....
So, in TOAD for oracle how to check that......

So,if user 'a' logins then he can be able to see only the records inserted by 'a' only...

Check current report user security inside CLR code

I am writing a CLR stored procedure which will be invoked via a SSRS report.This SP will call a web service to fetch secure data. As this data is critical, we are implementing many security measures, one of the measure is to check inside CLR assembly,whether
current report user is a part of an AD group (only this group will have access to read secure data) or not before I call web service .
I am not sure if there is a way to check individual users inside CLR code . Any suggestion /input is appreciated.

SAP security - changing check maintain setting for security objects

I am trying to change the check maintain indicator for a couple of transactions
to alow me to manage access based on security objects that are not currently defined as check maintain. Specifically, I have updated the check indicator
(using SU24) to check maintain for object c_stue_ber on transactions MD11 and MD12 (planned order create/change). The transactions still do not check this object as expected. Does anything else need to be done to enable checking an
object that is not set up as check maintain originally?
Any help is appreciated.

Dear Doug,
An authority check on C_STUE_BER is not possible for the transactions
CO02, CO03, MD11, MD12, CO26, CO27, CO28, COOIS, COHV, CO05, CO05N,
CO04N, COMAC or CO46.
In CO01 we check if the user has the authority to resolve the BOM
(C_STUE_BER). After resolving the BOM we don't check any longer with
C_STUE_BER since we don't work with the BOM but with a component list
in the order (which is actually a copy or the BOM).
For this component list there is no authority check.
The component list is visible in CO02, CO03, CO26, CO27, CO28, COOIS,
COHV, CO05N, CO04N, COMAC, CO46.
For production orders we use authority C_AFKO_AWA. With this
authority you can limit the access to CO02, CO03 and the change of
production orders by other transactions.
But please note that there are still transactions
that will display the orders and its components without authority
checks. For example infosystem transactions (COOIS, COHV, CO26, CO27,
...) and other processing transactions (COGI, ...). For those
transactions you would have to limit access.
For the creation of planned orders MD11, the authority check C_STUE_BER
is not used. Here you can use M_MTDI_ORG to check on a MRP controller.
So you should enter the same MRP controller in the material master
of the troublesome products and only this MRP controller will be able
to create a planned order for this material.
I am sorry not to be able to offer you any better solution for this
problem.

"Stay logged on" checkbox is ALWAYS CHECKED - this is a security issue

Could Adobe please change the code for the login screen so that the "Stay logged on" checkbox isn't always checked (on)?
It doesn't matter if cookies are enabled, or not, it never remembers my desire to NOT BE AUTOMATICALLY LOGGED ON WHEN I VISIT.
Cookies aside, this checkbox should never be automatically checked unless the user has expressly decided for it to be so.
Anyone using a public computer may not remember to uncheck that checkbox; or may not even see it, if the user is in a hurry. This leaves that user's Adobe account VULNERABLE to anyone who uses that computer after the user is done. Not just for that hour, or day, but for as long as the cache and cookies are not cleared. How many accounts have to be ruined (password changed; vulgar/profanity-laced posts; etc.) before Adobe will take this seriously?
On top of that, I'm sick and tired of having to remember to uncheck that stupid checkbox before typing my password (it always remembers login name - another potential security vulnerability) to log on.
Stop thinking that you know what's best for everyone in the whole world, Adobe. That's a very ugly attitude.

@Little_Pale_Face, clearing the browsing history on a public computer does NOT clear the login session. If you use a public computer to access Adobe forums and just close the browser without logging off and without clearing the "Stay logged on" checkbox, and if someone else after you were to enter "https://forums.adobe.com" on that same computer and using the same browser, they won't get a login prompt; they will automatically log on to your account.
@pwillener I've never had that problem as long as the browser is not closed and as long as lack of activity doesn't exceed 10 minutes, even after clearing the "Stay logged on" checkbox.

After installing Check Point's Endpoint Security VPN for Mac the mail on my macbook pro is not working anymore

Open Connection Doctor reveals: Could not connect to this iCloud IMAP server... the server accepts connections on port 143.
Have check email settings advanced tab, port 143 is entered and SSD un-ticked.
Have uninstalled - restarted - etc.

How can I turn off blocking "check out" on a secure server?

Certain websites "Check Out" portions are blocked. Warning says " OCSP response is not yet valid (contains a date in the future)
Error code: sec_error_ocsp_future_response. Authorization of received data could not be verified."
What does this mean and how do I bypass it. One site in particular I have used many times in past.

Network speed check Java applet is "security" blocked

IHA has been asking for some time to optimize speed.
Finally had just done a reboot & figured it was a good time to try.
When you run the Network Diagnostic tool from http://my.verizon.com/services/speedtest/defaultndt.aspx,
the Java applet JWEB100 comes back as blocked (MSIE, Firefox & Chrome) A Windows popup (no program attribution) says:
Application blocked by Security Settings
Name: JWeb100
Location http://nyfiosspeed3.west.verzon.net [even though I am i NY and it asks for state]
Your security settings have blocked an untrusted application from running.
Norton does not really seem to be the culprit, but I could be wrong. The Java console security setting (midway between medium and high) seems to indicate a trusted certificate is required, but why would this applet not have a certicate?
Any ideas?

Check Point VPN-1 Secure Client Software Compatibility w/ Intel iMac

Is this SW compatible with the new iMac? I'm trying to install a Secure Client SW but it stops in the middle of installation giving out only a general message - there were errors during the installation. Please help.

The CheckPoint VPN-1 Secure Client software is only compatible with Mac OS v 10.3 (Panther). I had the same issue and am waiting for CheckPoint to update the software.

Having trouble viewing video feed on security camera since iOS7 installed

Has anyone else noticed that when checking security camera feed on the iphone, it does not display the video? wasn't having that problem before the new OS.

When you have kernel panics, the pertinent information is in the panic report.
These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
In the Console window, select
DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ System Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of reports. A panic report has a name that begins with "Kernel" and ends in ".panic". Select the most recent one. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a panic, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.

Upgraded to Yosemite, Won't allow me to navigate JC Penny's web site. Have tripple checked security settings and cookie settings.

Upgraded my i mac to Yosemite. Won't let me open the departments on JC Penny's web site. Never had a problem before the upgrade. Checked my cookies and security settings as per JC Penny's I-T Dept. Am I missing something?

Which browser are you using?
Have you tried a different one? Sometimes, not all websites are configured to be compatible with all browsers.
I have no problem opening the jcp.com site and choosing different departments (women's, home, etc) with the latest Firefox browser.
