Checking for Patch Requirements for Extended Support of 11.5.10

Hello
I am trying to check for a client that they are meeting the minimum requirements to remain on Extended Support. They use 11.5.10.2 and run that on a 11.2.0.3 db
The method I am using is:
1.
Check to see what is Shared and Licensed via OAM.
This will tell me the products that we must licensed and shared and which we must ensure we meet the minimum
2.
Go to Patch Requirements for Extended Support of Oracle E-Business Suite Release 11.5.10 [ID 883202.1]
and ensure that we are meeting these.
Seems very tedious ... (over 60 products to check) is there another way?

Pl see if this MOS Doc can help

  • How do I sign up for Adobe Flash Player Extended Support Versions?

I looked on the website but was unable to find how to sign up for Adobe Flash Player Extended Support.
Thanks in advance for the help.

    Hi UtahDano,
Can you tell me where you saw '2013'?  I looked on Adobe Flash Player Distribution | Adobe, Adobe - Adobe Runtimes / Reader Distribution License Agreement, and Adobe Runtimes / Reader Distribution Agreement, and I'm not seeing '2013'.  Once I find out exactly where this is at, I can forward it to the appropriate folks to update.
    Thank  you.

  • JVM patch required for DST on 10.2.0.2 RAC cluster

I have looked all over the internet and Metalink for information regarding the JVM patching on a RAC cluster and haven't found anything useful, so I apologize if this question has already been asked multiple times. Also if there is a forum dedicated to DST issues, please point me in that direction.
I have a 10.2.0.2 RAC cluster so I know I have to do the JVM patching required because of the DST changes. The README for 5075470 says to follow post-implementation steps in the fix5075470README.txt file. Step 3 of those instructions say to bounce the database, and then not allow the use of java until step 4 is complete (which is to run the fix5075470b.sql script).
Here's my question: since this is a RAC database, does that mean I have to shutdown both instances, start them back up, run the script, and then let users log back in? IN OTHER WORDS, AN OUTAGE IS REQUIRED?
Is there a way around having to take an outage? Can I bounce each instance separately (in a rolling fashion) so there's no outage, and then run the script even though users are logged on if I think java isn't being used by the application? Is there a way to confirm whether or not it's being used? If I confirm the application isn't using java, is it ok to run the script while users are logged on?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Susan

According to Note: 414309.1 USA 2007 DST Changes: Frequently Asked Questions an Problem for Oracle JVM Patches, question 4 Does the database need to be down before the OVJM patch is applied, the bounce is necessary. That says nothing about a rolling upgrade in RAC.
You might file an SR asking if a rolling upgrade is possible.

  • Any patches required for "U.S. Energy Policy Act of 2005" daylight savings?

    Hi:
I'm hoping that JES properly relies on the OS for all things time related, but I thought I'd ask if we're going to need to patch JES for this...
    We're at 6.2x now...
    Thanks!

Yep, Messaging Server relies on what it gets from the OS for daylight savings. No patches are needed.

  • Patch Requirements For Solaris 10 x86_64 (10/08)

    Hello All;
We are about to begin testing the use of installing SAP Netweaver onto Solaris 10 x86 (10/08). I have seen SAP Note 908334 and it describes use of a prior older version of Solaris 10 x86 (01/06). Can anyone tell me if newer versions of the patches described in this SAP note are included or need to be added later?
    Many Thanks
    David L. Black

    You can check using
    showrev -p | grep <patchnumer>
if the patch is already installed. Most likely this is the case for the version you use so there's no need to update any patches.
However, it's always a good idea to keep the system up-to-date, especially if you plan to use ZFS as filesystem.
I use "pca" to update our systems (http://www.par.univie.ac.at/solaris/pca/) - much easier to handle than "Solaris Update connection" - and fewer problems.

  • Dynamic file name - Components to be installed in patch required for SP12

    Dear All ,
1)Plz let me know what is the prerequisites for installing SP12 Patch in XI i.e <b>what all components do I need to install for this</b>  . Currently I am using SP 09 and I am facing problem related to Dynamic file in file adapter .
    2) While installing the components for this patch , is it going to affect my pre-configured scenarios .
    Thanks in advance
    Prabhat

    Hi Danny!
So you are saying that this is a valid path specification in Windows? I did not know this. And I do not remember to ever have seen this before with Java.
Is there a reason why this "abbreviated" form is used in Java?
Has this changed recently, or did I simply never found it before?
Can this be behavior be changed to the complete path form? I like to call 'get[Absolute]Path()' in log messages and test cases, but want to see the complete path in such a case. I would like to avoid getCanonicalPath() in such cases, because this method declares an exception.
    Cheers,
    Michael

  • 12c Upgrade patch requirement for the preupgrade console

Instructions for the preupgrade console patch, "Apply the preupgrade console patch on your existing Enterprise Manager system to get access to the Enterprise Manager 12c Upgrade Console" specify that PSU3 (9282397) or later must be applied. What qualifies as "or later". Running opatch lsinventory shows patches of lower numbers only.
    Thanks!
    Randy Kennedy

    Hi Randy,
"PSU3 (9282397) or later" in this case means PSU3 or a newer EM 10.2.0.5 PSU (Patch Set Update); for example, PSU4 (9786002) or PSU5 (10168579).
