I have a new imac, and just bought an iphone. When my contacts were transferred a worker at the at&t store used a pc. I heard that connecting my iphone to my imac could lose all my data on the phone, since it is not in mac format? Is this true, or can I connect my iphone?

have a look at myDVDedit (http://www.mydvdedit.com). It's actually designed to do postproduction on a DVD, but will also display a lot of info, such as TV standard, 16:9 vs. 4:3, etc.
Insert your DVD, then launch myDVDedit and open the VIDEO_TS folder contained in your DVD. Click the IFO tab to find the information you're looking for.

If you already have one, you should be able to call AppleCare and give them the serial number. They should be able to tell you if it's locked and who it's locked to.

Checking song format on iPod

I have 3,276 songs on my 30 gig pod. I've used half the space. My friend says I sholdn't have used that much space for that many songs. He said I should check the format of the songs that are being downloaded. How can I check for that, and then maybe change the format to allow me to use less when addding new songs? Thanks

Go to iTunes and right click on one of your songs, choose Get Info>Summary and look at "Kind" to see what format you are using. Alternatively, right click at the top of any column in the iTunes library and choose Kind from the menu: iTunes: About import settings and hard disk space
The figures quoted by Apple assumes that the songs are exactly 4 minutes in length in AAC format encoded at 128Kbps; if your songs are longer, encoded at a higher bitrate, or encoded in a format such as AIFF or Apple Lossless, fewer of them will fit on an iPod.

ELM - Duplicate Check, Mapping Format, Create BP in Role

I have 3 requirements with respect to ELM (CRM 7.0 Ehp1)
1. Update CRM BP, if external ID/ID type combination occurs again
2. Create BP in a specific role
3. Map extra fields
With the help of multiple threads, I have found that I need to use BAdI CRM_MKTLIST_BADI and enhance methods DUPLICATE_CHECK, CREATE_PERSON etc. Create new mapping format, Append structure CRMT_MKTLIST_PER_EXT with required fields.
I have the following questions:
1. How do I create a new mapping format?
2. What/how to enhance the method DUPLICATE_CHECK of CRM_MKTLIST_BADI to check for duplicates based on external ID number and ID Type?
3. For creating BP in a certain role, is the note 915015 applicable for CRM 7.0?
I would appreciate if anyone can offer quick help in this regard.

Hi,
You can new mapping format from webui.
You have to log in with a MARKETINGPRO role. To create mapping format, assign business role MARKETINGPRO to your user and go to "Marketing" work center.
In the "Create" area you will find "Mapping format".
CRM_MKTLIST_BADI has a default implementation class you can create a new implementation but you can copy the standard implementation class for your implementation class.
And change the code in method in DUPLICATE_CHECK. the external ID number and ID Type should come via the importing parameters inside the method then you can check with them. But other wise you need to find some other provision of getting them inside.

Oracle AP - Check Printing formats

Hi,
I want to know about the different formats that Oracle supports for check printing. I am aware of the Evergrn check printing facility, but am looking for other possible ways of printing checks in pre-defined formats.
Also wanted to know whether a check number would appear on each printed check thru Oracle.

I believe Oracle AP installation has several pre-defined check formats including the Evergreen one. If my memory is right, there are even different varieties of Evergreen - like one for laser etc. I can't remember any other names of the top of the my head, but i am pretty sure you would get a quickpick of the available formats in one of the payment document defintion forms ( sorry! my memory is not good enough to remember the navigation path! ). I have seen them in 10.7 a few years ago. Please post a response if you do find it in AP.
Regarding check numbers, they do/can be printed on the check and the payment stub. I believe yoou would be using pre-printed check stock with check numbers already on them. AS correctly mentioned in the previous post, the starting check number of your check stock should match the 'next check number' defined in your payment document definition. Its a lot easier to maintain and keep track of the checks if this is kept in sync. I think this might be a legal requirement too, but I am not sure -check with your AP dept

How to check file format in application server?

i have an inbound zip file(which contains PDF files) in the application server .I need to check if the file is in base 64 format or in hexadecimal format.Can any one help me out with the suggestions or with probable solution.

This is why some of us were amused at the whole "real internet" thing. That's nice and all, but the fact is, mobile devices with their small screens aren't made for viewing it.
There actually is a reason for the "mobile internet", which has been HTML (not WAP) on many phones for years. A good thing about the iPhone is that it's made website authors more aware of their mobile users. A downside is that they're writing for only Safari.

- Yes, more than twice.

What if you submit the request as another user and print to the same printer?
- That I have to check with the Users.

- We restarted the printer too and fired new jobs. All is fine.
Also, the same request if printed via other check printers, is going fine and users are able to print the check.
Since you are able to print the same request to some other printer, and you are able to print to the same printer from the OS/Application, then most probably this is an issue with that specific concurrent request (not concurrent program). Also, please check if you have any locks in the database (bounce the CM/Database if possible and try again).
- CM and Database are brought down at night and then started in the morning every night. So DB and CM have been bounced twice since the issue was reported.
Hussain, how can we check the issue with Conc Request, if any.
