Checking links TO a specific file, please tell me this is finally available...
OK, it's been a few years since I originally asked this question. I think it was back when I was using DW 4, or maybe 3. I'm sure there's an answer by now since we're up to version CS4, which I guess is DW 10, right? (I'm still using DW 8 because I haven't considered the new features that useful.) I did use the search but I don't see any solutions. I will be SHOCKED if this is still not a feature. I refuse to upgrade again until this feature is there as a matter of principle.
Before I delete any document (I usually delete 5-10 each day), I check to see if any pages are linked to it. The best (fastest) way I've found is to just hit delete on the file and see if a warning message pops up from the site cache listing some pages that link to it. If so, then I use the find command to find all the pages with that filename in the source code. If no warning pops up, it's safe to remove it. I've always considered this a lame way to find out if any other pages link to a file. Even more lame (lamer?) is having to navigate through a gigantic site map or having to use the find command that rips through every single file on the site. So, can someone please tell me if I can finally right-click the file and choose something like "pages that link to this file." The data is right there in the cache, and if it can show it in the warning message, why not have a command for it?

PS: RAM = Memory as in your G4 has a max support for 2GB of DDR333/PC2700 (if you have an MDD G4).
Disk drives are storage capacity and are usually 80-500GB (gigabyte).
Depending on your G4 model, you may have support for large (48-bit LBA) drives greater than 120GB or not. And if not, would need a controller card.
Based on the sizes you mention, it sure sounds like an older (much older) hard drive and probably G4. In which case you might want to look into a disk drive controller (ATA or SATA) and my advice would be to get SATA (Serial ATA) and SATA type drives.
OS X today needs at least 10-20GB drive space, plus whatever you need for files you keep. A 2nd drive for backup. Even a drive with an emergency system.

There is No Bypass solution.
The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required
If you do not have that information you will not be able to use the Device.

I have iphone 4g and have updated to ios6 an updated itunes 2, but while sync itunes freezes and iphone is not sybc fully, finally i have to disconnect my iphone for itunes to shunt down. Can some one please tell why this is happening?
I am having this problem. At first with the new iPhone 5, and then with the iPad 2. I am not sure why this is happening.
My gut feeling is this is an iO6 issue and here's why -
The problem mainly occurs with apps. I have about 150 apps, and when I plugged in the phone, iTunes went to sync all of them. The process would hang up after about 20 - 30 apps were loaded onto the phone. I could tell where about the process hung up because the apps on the phone showed up as "waiting".
Then on the iPad 2 I plugged in to sync and saw there was a huge "Other" component in my storage. It required me to restore the iPad 2 from backup. With this restore the same issues occurred - putting the apps back on the iPad would hang up. The videos on the iPad also got stuck - maybe after about 10 hours of videos transfered iTunes crashed.
My solution has been to soft reset the device, restart Windows, and continue the process until it's complete. This is remarkably inefficient and time-intensive but everything works with patience.
I have been wondering if others have had these same problems. -

Did you go to the App Store, log in with your Apple ID and password and then click on the Purchases button?
What system came preinstalled on your Mac. Did you Mac come with any disks? If so what are their titles?

Checking dimensions of a video file-please help
hey guys i have a few trailers on my HD and i want to know what dimensions they are, how do i check what are the dimenssions of the video files?
Are you sure you're in Column View? That sounds like the default List View fields. In that Finder window, you see the three icons grouped at the top left of the window (just to the right of the left/right arrows). The middle one (which I suspect is blue) is List, the right-hand one is Column. Click that one, and the Finder window will split into vertical columns. Now click on the Quicktime file and the right-most column should show a small preview thumbnail (which you can actually play), and further down, the movie dimensions. See here:

Jean-JacquesYou could set up the Find and Replace option (under Edit) to search all the files in the site for the name of the image file. It will generate a list of the files found that contain that file name. And just to be safe, in both the Find and the Replace entries, put the same thing so that a wrong click doesn't change them to something you don't want.

I have recently reset my laptop to factory settings and whilst doing so have lost my music files. I have uploaded my cds but am having trouble moving music from my ipad mini back to music file or itunes.
iTunes sync is one way from iTunes library to an iOS device.
You will need third party software such as TouchCopy to transfer from iOS to your computer. -

I have a G4 and just installed OS X 10.3 and basicly running out of memory. I have 2 partitions, OS 9 and 10. I have 12G of disk available where 6.0 goes to the first partition (OS 9) and 6 to the second ( OS X). I still have memory available but only on the first partition. How can I resize the disk memory?. It appears grey and can't unlock it.

There are different options here - it looks like you can buy songs for 99 cents each (like you can on ITunes) and download them to your Zen Micro, or you can pay a monthly subscription fee (Yahoo Music Unlimited TO GO $4.99) and that gives you access to download as many songs as you want from their catalog of 2+ million songs. You listen to them on your computer or the MP3 player as long as you want (as long as you keep paying the subscription) then go get more songs when you want to.
I haven't tried the Unlimited service but my Zen Micro works perfectly with the Yahoo Jukebox, so I think that might be the way to go.
