Checking the CCMS

Hi,
I have configure the Mail and CCMs in my System.
I have tested the mail using SBWP and it is workign fine.
After that i go to SOST and i could not see any CCMS reqeusts.
I dont know whether CCMs is not working or no CCMS alerts are generated.
Hence plesae let me know of how to test whether my CCMS is working or not

you can do most of the CCMS Config in other Client than 000
But the email configuration (sender/receiver) needs to be done in 000
The emails will also go through 000

Problem with the mail generation for the CCMS alert

HI ,
I have created CCMS alert for the RFCdestination in the system and is working fine, and now i would like to configure mail for the same alert for that i have did the following
1.copied the method CCMS_ONALERT_EMAIL_v2 in RZ21 and created the new method .
2. And then assigned the same in the CCMS alert in the autoreaction tab.
But still iam unable to generate mails.Mail configutation is ok and am able send mails to external addresses.
Can any one please let me know if iam missing anything and guide me .

Error while registering the CCMS agent

Dear All,
When i am trying to register the SAPCCM4x agent in my landscape i am getting the error "104 RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE'
can anyone tell me the what are the possible reason for this error and solutions to resolve.
and
what authorisations for the CEN user and RFC connection should exist before registering the CCMS agent.

Please check for the authorization object S_RFCACL for the RFC user.
Check the RFC connection properly.

How can I install the CCMS tool??

      I want to configure the CCMS tool but I don't know how.... I want to install it in the development environment to make some test and then install it on QA and production environment because right know I don't have a Solution Manager or something like that to install the CCMS and use it like the central monitoring system.
Someone of u know how can I install it one by one in that systems?

You need to implement CCMS in all the system(DEV, QA & Prod) separately. We have implemented CCMS separately in our landscape(without Solman)
If you dont have solman & want to implement CCMS then please follow method:-
Backgroud:- In the monitoring architecture, we can react automatically to an alert using auto-reaction methods. These methods are automatically started in the case of an alert and by default are executed in the system in which the alert occurs.
Defining an Automatic Alert Notification:-
With the monitoring architecture, auto-reaction methods can be defined that are automatically executed when alerts occur. The method CCMS_OnAlert_Email can be assigned to MTE classes in SAP system. If an alert occurs in this MTE class, the information is sent by e-mail.
CCMS_OnAlert_Email can automatically send an e-mail to the following addressees:
u2022        A Business Workplace user in client 000
u2022        An external e-mail address
The auto-reaction method for sending the e-mail is started at most five minutes after the alert occurs. However, there can be a delay before the e-mail is sent to external e-mail addresses (that is, addresses of users that are not defined in client 000 of the same SAP system), depending on the settings in SAPConnect.
The message text contains the same information that is displayed in the Alert Monitor:
u2022        Description of the problem that exists
u2022        Time and location at which the problem occurred
u2022        Severity and colour of the alert
Prerequisites:-
SAPConnect must be configured in client 000, if the message is to be sent to an external address.
Procedure:-
Choose CCMS ® Configuration ® Alert Monitor, or call transaction RZ21.
In the Methods group box, select Method Definitions and choose Display Overview.
Select the method CCMS_OnAlert_Email_V2 and choose Edit Data.
Choose change mode with the Display « Change pushbutton, and choose the
Parameters tab page.
Fill out the fields as follows:
Parameter     Meaning
SENDER     SAP username of the person in whose name the e-mail is sent Alert Monitor.
u2022     Start the desired monitor from the list by double-clicking it.
u2022     Select the desired node and choose Properties.
u2022     The Monitoring: Properties and Methods screen appears. The rest of the procedure depends on whether the analysis method need to be assigned only to this node or to the entire MTE Class.
u2022     Choose the Methods tab page and then choose the Method Assignment button.
u2022     The Monitoring: Methods screen appears. Choose change mode with the Display « Change button, and choose the Auto-Reaction tab page.
u2022     In the Method Assignment group box, choose the Method Name radio button and enter CCMS_OnAlert_Email_V2 in the associated field.
u2022     Save the entries.

2.     Check the recipient & sender e-mail id is configured(attached to a user id) in client 000

Completing the Alerts:-
The alerts are completed after checking the alert. Basis Team needds to complete the alerts
Deleting old CCMS alerts:-
You can use program RSALDBRG to delete old alerts.

Where are the CCMS system groups saved?

Hello,
When I create a new system in RZ21 "Maintain system groups", it brings up a list of possible entries. Now I don't have any entries in my technical topology, but still the list contains some systems.
Does anybody know which table/procedure stores this info?

Go to the monitor environment (Transaction RZ20). Delete the monitoring context for SAPconnect. To do this, proceed according to the following description:
Open "SAP CCMS Technical Expert Monitors" in the CCMS monitor sets tree and select "All Monitoring Contexts" there by double-clicking.
If you do not find the entry "BusinessCommunication" here, the data collection method was not yet started in this system and you can go on to point 2. If the entry exists, select:
Extras-> Activate maintenance function (if not already activated)
Select the BusinessCommunication node
Select Edit -> Nodes (MTE)-> Reset
Confirm the security dialog box with "Yes"
Confirm the information dialog box by pressing 'Continue'
Select the node again
Select Edit -> Nodes (MTE)-> Delete
Select "Option 4"
Confirm the security dialog box with "Yes"
The BusinessCommunication node should now no longer appear.

Check the message processing

HI.
I want to catch the status whether message is processing or not on Adapter Enging and Integration Engine.
Offcource we could know the status , to logon the RWB.
But I want to check from scheduled scripts.
If the message finished processing the message , job scheduler start the next job...

If processing of a message on the Adapter Engine fails, the message state is changed to faulty. To notify administrators immediately of such processing failures, they can be propagated as alerts to CCMS. As CCMS is the SAP standard interface to third-party monitoring tools, these failure events may also become visible in non-SAP monitoring tools.
Configuration Steps
To make use of Adapter Engine alerts, you must configure the connection to CCMS as follows:
1. Make sure that the J2EE engine on which the Adapter Engine is running is configured to be monitored by the central CCMS system.
To do so, execute transaction RZ20 on your central monitor server. There, the J2EE engine should be visible in the CCMS monitor under SAP J2EE Monitor Templates All Systems. If not, follow the steps described in Chapter 4.2 of the Supportability Setup Guide for SAP NetWeaver 04 on SAP Service Marketplace at service.sap.com/nw04operation.
2. Check whether the Adapter Engine is configured to report errors to CCMS.
To do so, start the Visual Administrator and select service SAP XI AF Core. The value of property CCMSEnabled must be set to true (in lower case letters). If it is not, change the property value to true and restart the service.
To verify that the setting is effective, select the Visual Administrator Monitoring service. Under Root Applications, you should see a node for the Adapter Engine.
Alerting
Once you have performed the configuration steps in the previous section, errors that occur during message processing in the Adapter Engine should show up in both the Visual Administrator of the J2EE engine on which the Adapter Engine runs, and transaction RZ20 on the central monitor server:
Open the Visual Administrator and select the Monitoring service.
Here you should see that the number of errors of the appropriate error category and error code increases when messages fail on the Adapter Engine.
Execute transaction RZ20 on the central monitor server and select the Exchange Infrastructure monitor.
You should find a node for the Adapter Engine here and see the same error information as in the Visual Administrator.
Accuracy
The default polling period for the monitor is 30 minutes. If you want to have shorter polling periods, you can change them in the Visual Administrator as follows:
1. Select the Monitoring service.
2. Select an arbitrary Number of errors entry in the monitoring tree of the Adapter Engine (leaf node).
3. Choose Configuration in the right-hand pane.
4. Choose Edit in the dialog box that appears.
5. Change the polling period to 5 minutes, for instance.
6. Choose Save and wait until saving is finished (be patient, since this may take a while).
7. Select the Configuration Adapter service.
8. On the Display Configuration tab page, select apps sap.com com.sap.aii.af.app Monitoring Configurator monitor-configuration.xml.
9. In the xml file, change the polled-by-template period to the same value as above, for example, 5 minutes.
10. Choose OK to save the modified xml file.
11. Restart the Monitoring service to apply the changes.

VG2821A# R2800 router with CCM 4.1. If under H323 GW, we can easily check the called number by command "show voice call status". However, under MGCP GW, what command I can input such that I can know what the exact calling/called number processed by the MGCP GW. Check The Job Status

My requirement is as below.
I will loop through an internal table and create some files with background processing method.(JOB_OPEN,SUBMIT & JOB_CLOSE)
Now once this job is triggered I need to check the status for that job after maximum 10 mins. Its not neccessary that each job will take 10 mins. only,It can be finished in 2 mins also.
Once the job is finished then I will XCOM that file.
So my question is how to code such timer which will check the job status for that job? I have a FM BP_JOB_READ which returns the job status.

You can only locate your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.
Unfortunately, you cannot activate iCloud or 'Find My Phone' remotely.

Error while checking the status of Oracle Cluster ware

I was trying to install the database using dbca after setting up the grid and database software on LINUX x86-64 RHEL 5.7 machine. The database software version is 11.2.0.3. It throwing the error regarding the connectivity of clusterware. So I checked the status of clusterware.

I see in the above log that saying ASM instance is down and failed to open +DATA .
But the asm instance up and running

And we havent created any disk named DATA before the installation. We have created only below two disks

But I am seeing a diskgroup in the v$asm_diskgroup which we havent created.

Ya this is a second time installtion. In the first installtion we created the asmdisk as DATA. But later everything (RAW device ) was formatted and this new disks has been created and installtion again started

Seems like its trying to read the old disk DATA.
we have done asmscanning too with oracleasm scan disks. but no use.
Where I can remove the old entry of DATA disk.
It would be a great if a quick response get.

The permission looks fine. If it was permission issue then y it is trying to read the DATA disk which I havent created this time at all ( But created in the first installation).

The only disks created are
[root@SFV9699 dev]# oracleasm listdisks
ASM_DATA
FLASH_RECOVERY
And these disks are showing part of that group also.. Not quite sure how this happened..
what abt dropping this group.. will anything work.

Error while checking the flow of bpel process in bpel console

Hi Experts
I have created one bpel process which invokes task manager for approving or rejecting the leave request. I ve successfully deployed the bpel process and also able to test approve or reject the leave request . But i am facing one error
when i am initiate a bpel process and started to check the flow of that bpel process in bpelconsole it gives me some error message in small pop up like
error : Internal/ bug ( #589 )

i click Ok and after this no error and all working well.

A quick answer is:
1. make sure you defined the Application/Integration Server in your developer (user/pass you have - if not oc4jadmin then one the IT gave you).
2. Deploy your project to that server.
3. Choose the correct domain in the Console when deploying.

Why is the backup encrypted when i didn't even check the box in itunes

I downloaded the latest version of itunes, sync my iphone and then upgrade the software to ios 5.
But when i try to restore my backups after the upgrade. It prompted for a password.
My backup file states complete and encrypted when i didn't check the box for encryption.
Any idea what is the default password for it?
Has anyone encounter this situation before and any solutions available?
I need to access a lot of important contacts in the backup

I checked the wrong box on for a website I use frequently and now recieve the message "Access to xpcom is denied. Set "signed.applets.codebase_principal_support=true" in about:config"; how can I change this?

I am tech challenged. I know this is probably a setting that just needs to be changed but I have idea on how or where to go to change it. It appears to be a security setting - I checked the wrong box on a firefox popup regarding access. The site is grammarly.com and when I attempt to paste my copy to be grammar checked it won't allow me to do so, and I get the above quoted message. Please help!

You can check the file prefs.js in the profile folder to see if you find any lines referring to that website and remove those capability.principal.codebase lines.
