I would like to know how I can check the model of my phone? On its case it only says Treo.

Does your Treo have Windows mobile or Palm OS?
To verify the model, take out the battery and look for the model on the sticker in the batery compartment. Do not look on the battery. It should say something like treo 680, 700W, etc.
You can check the support page for smartphones on Palm.com and this may help ID the model you have. http://kb.palm.com/wps/portal/kb/na/deviceselector/page_en.html#NA%20Phones
Click on your model, click on your carrier and the next page is the support page for your Treo. There you will find different tabs on the page, home, learn downloads, etc. On the learn tab under guides and more is the user guide.

It does not mean anything because it is not possible.
Either your phone is fully and officially unlocked and you can use it with any sim card or it is locked to your phone company/carrier, in which case you need to contract your carrier to get it unlocked. There is no in between.

Checking the model number of a Time Capsule I'm about to purchase...

I'm having trouble figuring out which model of Time Capsule this is. I'm purchasing from seller on Ebay. He says the model number on the bottom of the unit is "Model number A1254"
Is this a 1st generation Time Capsule or 2nd generation Time Capsule with the extra features (dual band/guest network)?

This is the first generation Time Capsule with the smaller 500MB drive.
You might want to check the Apple refurb site as well as these products will at least have a warranty.

Check the level of phone battery + J2ME

i'm leaving in a developping country , i need to develop a midlet that will send an sms to somebody when the courant goes off , the midlet will be installed on a phone that will be permanently connected to a power outlet
My question is is it possible in J2ME to do such a thing( detect that the battery is not charging meaning that the courant went off and of course detect the contrary)
I'm a beginner in this stuff and I'm using netbeans 6.1 IDE

Battery level detection isn't a part of the standard API, but some manufacturers do have a proprietary API which facilitates this. Check out the developer area of the manufacturers' websites.
But AFAIK this will only give you the battery level, not whether it's charging or not.

How is your iPhone's display different?
You can check the model number by going to Settings/General/About. These are the model numbers for the various 3 GS models;

Unable to check large model into SQL Server repository via Proxy

I have a model that has over 1000 changes (probably) and I am unable to check the model into a repository on SQL Server 2008R2. We have a proxy service running, and in general the check-in process is much better via the proxy than direct connect. But for a model with "a lot" of changes, the check-in process never completes. I have let it run overnight and it still does not complete. The SQL Server DBA also reports a large "blocking" query running from the PROXY service to the database server when this process seems to "hang".
Has anyone else encountered this behavior? I have had a support ticket open for over a year on this one, with no solution, so I was curious if anyone else found a way to resolve it. (other than avoid "making a lot of changes".

First if you want good performance you must use the Proxy. When you use the Proxy PowerDesigner sending large packet of data to the Proxy under a proprietary format (more efficient) and the Proxy run long transactions - many atomic SQL transactions - to the DBMS (SQL Server).
In "PowerDesigner World" the primary use of a direct connection to the DBMS is to create the repository.
For adequate performance the Proxy and the repository (RDBMS) must be installed on the same server. (Also the PD Portal). Thus the thousands of transactions are executed in memory and not over the network (latency problem)
Because you use the SQL Server DBMS you must set ''max server memory'' variable to an appropriate value, by example for 40 users you must set to 8 MB minimum.
You must also activate these two settings - See the PowerDesigner installation Guide
• ALLOW_SNAPSHOT_ISOLATION
• READ_COMMITTED_SNAPSHOT
Physical Server memory usage
a) OS Operating System has need minimum 2 Gb
b) SQL Server runtime 1 Gb
c) SQL Server memory space for PowerAMC 8Gb
d) Proxy memory 6-8Gb
e) I/O memory space 1 Gb minimum
Total 20Gb

If you have the Early or Mid 2009 model 5,2 the battery was the same as every MacBook from Early 2006. If you have the Late 2009 model 6,1 Unibody then the battery is not user replaceable. To see which model you have go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info (and then System Report in 10.7). When System Profiler comes up check the Model Identifier.
If you have the 5,2 you can get a new battery fairly cheap on eBay

There are only two things that you must do to connect a device to calendars:
1) In settings>icloud, you must log in, WITH THE CORRECT ID/PASSWORD, and
2) Turn on calendars on the same page.

Who is the carrier the iPhone is carrier locked with?
If the carrier has a blacklist for lost/stolen cell phones, it would be the carrier you need to contact.

IF you can actually yet purchase an unlocked iPhone4 8GB from the US Retail stores is not clear
They are certainly available from Apple.com but only if you have a US credit card and a US delivery address
I suspect you do not fit this requirement
You also have to be careful as the Apple Retail stores sell no contract iPhones these are NOT unlocked
However if you are able to purchase an unlocked iPhone4 8GB then it will certainly work with the Approved carriers in India

I understand you are having issues with sound output on your iPhone 4S. For troubleshooting steps, the following article provides the best information:

1. Verify that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack, including headsets, headphones, or adapters.
2. Make sure the Ring/Silent switch is not switched to silent.
3. While on the Home screen, adjust the volume buttons. If you see the icon below, indicating that headphones are attached, there may be debris or an object lodged in the headset jack:
4. Check the headset jack. If there is an object lodged in the headset jack that is not easily removed, have the iPhone serviced to remove object.
5. For Original iPhone: If there is light debris, such as lint, in the headset jack, try connecting a pair of headphones to the headset jack and then remove the headphones. Repeat this several times to remove the debris.
6. If you have installed a protective film on the display, either ensure that the receiver is not covered or remove the film completely.
7. Check the receiver mesh (which is on the top front of the device, above the display). If it appears blocked, use a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush to carefully and gently brush away any debris.

Apple does not track phones.
Contact law enforcement if you believe the device has been stolen.
If it is merely lost, start looking for it.
If the "Find My iPhone" feature had been enabled prior to to losing the device, it would be trackable via www.icloud.com
