"Checking your addons for compatibility with this version of Firefox" hangs
On one pc (but not others) running Windows 7, when I install a new version of FF and the box for "checking your addons etc" comes up, it gets 80% of the way through then just grinds away until I hit cancel. Is there any way to find outr which addon is causing this problem?
It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the files extensions.* (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left side of the Search Bar (or click the "Find Updates" button in older Firefox versions) to check if there is a compatibility update available.
If this hasn't helped then also try to delete the addons.sqlite file.

My APE11 gets an Unable to use plug-in It's not compatable with this version of Photoshop
My APE 11 will read my Canon 70D raw file since I used the 8.3. In the organiser but as soon as I got to Edit the Raw file it just come up " Unable to use Camera Raw Plug-in" " It is not compatable with this version of Photoshop" No photo in the screen at all just a blank area with the raw sliders. And the box with the wording unable to use etc.

I downloaded it and looked at it. Even Graphic Converter can't recover any pixels or meaningful data, just some general information:
In my experience, if GraphicConverter can't open it, nothing will.

Current version of firefox shows "Digital persona(fingerprint reader) extension is incompatable with firefox 4.0b7" and many more extension which is working in firefox 3.6 also not compatable with this version what should we do because this extensions are very useful for me in my laptop

i have read through several other threads an nothing suggested seems to work
when i attempt to open a particular psd it tells me file cannot be opened because it is not compatible with this version of photoshop. it was built in cs3 and worked like 5 hrs before i tried to open it to work on it didn't save it when i opened it the last time(as in i just opened it on my pc to show some one n closed it ) i tried opening it in everything suggested it doesn't work. If you're saving a .psd with a NEWER version of Photoshop, then in the newer version you should go into Edit - Preferences - File Handling and change the field Maximize PSD and PSB File Compatibility to Always if you want to be able to pass the PSD files around to multiple (older) versions of Photoshop.
If you're getting the files from others, you need to ask them to make the above change.

the side bar version listed in the plug in line below is not compatible with the 6.0 version of Firefox. When will you allow/make a version of that plug in that will be compatible?

with GB 10. It looks beautiful and probably one day will be so. Fooling around with it will at this time only lead to more frustration.

For the time being I create the projects first in GB 6.0.5, to have more patches for vocal tracks and my guitar, and then I finish it in GB 10.0 to add Arpeggiators and Smart drummers.
It is simply easier to find anything in GB 10.0, if I know what is supposed to be there, because I created it in GB 6.0.5. -

I attempted to disable all add ons and plug ins hoping this would help. There were one or two sites I was able to go to, but mostly everything would be a blank page. I could not even get to a mozilla site. I restored my computer back to two days ago, so my firefox was deleted. When I attempted to find a download for firefox 3, it seems there are none any longer.
Please do not download any Firefox version from random unofficial download sites like oldapps. Mozilla has all versions since the start archived and available to the public should they want to test old versions.
Firefox 3.6.* is still readily available as Firefox 3.6.16 can be found at the safe

I have the exact same problem. I updated to 3.6.12 and encountered the "blank page" printing problem. I ended up re installing Firefox 3.0.19. Printing works great. Also Firefox 3.5.15 gave the same blank page printing problem. I also installed "Better privacy" and " Ghostery"at the time of updates. These programs do not run under the 3.0.19 version. Not sure if if they are related to the problem. Good luck and hope a solution to the problem comes about.

Iphoto was working fine until I downloaded and installed LION. Now I get a problem message to check that iphoto is compatible with this version of MAC OS X.
I always download software updates.Have put iphoto into trash and tried to re-install it from cd, but although it is there on the list when I try to install, it is not in bold and does not permit me to tick it.
I have been to the app store and it tells me that iphoto is on my computer. -
The missing e has been "incompatible" with this version of firefox for at least a year. This is annoying. Which browser should I use?

Hi there, I cannot open bridge and I get this warning, "Adobe Bridge Cannot be Opened because of a problem. Check with the developer to make sure Adobe Bridge CC works with this version of Mac OS X. You may need to reinstall any updates for this application and Mac OS X" although bridge has been running on my Mac for over a yera. I have installed all current updates for Mac and reinstalled Bridge again from CC and still get the same issue? Any advice?

If you are working in PSE13, please update it to latest PSE13.1 update available and see if it helps.
To apply update, you can go to Help > Updates and there you can see PSE13.1 update.
