Checks voided with FCH9 marked as Issued in outgoing file to Bank
When we write off outstanding checks, we do not wish to reverse the original payment document. Therefore, we used transaction FCH9 to void the checks. We created a new Void Reason, which identifies the void as part of the periodic writeoff of uncashed checks.
The positive pay file which we send to the bank lists these checks as issued, rather than voided. I have looked in the check register, and the void reason code and void date are correct.
Can anybody tell me why the checks would be marked as issued? Is there a configuration which we must set to define whether a void reason results in a voided check vs. an issued/reissued check?
Thank you.
Aoife

Update:
The answer appears to be that our AP area requested a Z transaction based on standard transaction FCHX. The Z transaction had void reason codes hard-coded. Therefore, no SAP error. Internal error only.

Reverse document for check voided with FCH9
I voided a manual check that was created by using FCH9. I want to be able to reverse the document, but when I tried to reverse, I got an error that the document was already cleared and could not be reversed. Is there a way to reverse the payment document?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!Hi
If no other new check has been issued for the payment document in FCHN, than you have to use FBRA to reverse the payment document. You should use the option reverse and reset

Check Box With Tick Mark on Sap Script
Hello All,
We need to add a check box with tick mark on Sap Script. Please can anyone let me know how can we add it.
Regards
Amrutahi amruta,
The soluti as an image into on to your problem can be to use the symbol icon as told , but this may show in preview not in print.
I too faced the same problem.
So what i had done is created a new window with the diemnsions of the chekc box with border thcikness 8 tw and inside that window place a checkmark symbol.
if this checkmark symbol also does not show up in print preview/ doesshow in print preview and not in print then you can scan a chekcmark image and upload it into business document server as a BMP/ TIFF image and use this image in your checkbox window.
Hope this solves your problem.
Warm Regards

Flashing folder with question mark on start up + many other issues
About 6 months ago I first encountered the flashing folder with question mark on startup. I fixed the issue myself by unplugging the mouse and keyboard and rebooting. I also did the cmd S fsck -fy before that and all was well.
The other day I had the flashing folder again...I got it going a couple of times but it happened again. Right now I seem to be in deep trouble. Please read the following:
1. I booted up from the leopard dvd and no hard drive was there to run a disk utility on
2. Booted up again from the dvd and hard drive was there. Ran the disk utility and everything was fine...for about 5 minutes. Then the computer froze and I had to hard power down. Rebooted to the flashing folder.
3. Did command s and fsck but at the end I get the message failed to issue comm reset after 3 attempts.....failing....
4. I powered down, vacuumed out the vents, sprayed compressed air to make sure it wasn't over heating from dust buildup as I read somewhere.
5. Booted up...worked for about 5 minutes again.
6. Now I can't get to the hard drive from the install dvd at all...I tried 100 times. Cmd s won't work at all!! So it looks like I am out of options. Does anyone have ny radical solutions that i can try to fix this. There are some very important things on my hard drive that I would be very upset about loosing.
Please replySorry to bear bad news, but most likely the drive is already dead or dying. I hope you backed up everything when the first symptoms appeared.
There are data recovery services, but might be very expensive.
EDIT: Some (a few) people have had success putting the drive (sealed very well in a plastic baggy) in the freezer overnight and then quickly putting it in an external enclosure and getting the data off it that way.

Wazir AliWell, if you did it yourself, then there is a chance that you damaged some other component inside the device that is causing your issue. The iPhone's are not user serviceable, and once you have opened the device you have voided any warranty and post-warranty support from Apple. I would try Google to see if you can find any other way to repair your device, as Apple will no longer look at it.

Frequent startup with question mark folder icon--a diagnostic challange!!!
I recently obtained a 500 mhz G4 Cube; I transplanted memory, video board, video riser board, and DVD/CD drive from my old (dead) 450mhz G4 Cube (logicboard and DC-DC board were fried) to the 500 mhz Cube AND I added a Western Digital 80gb hard drive. The problem involves frequent startups with the question mark folder (Mac OS logo alternates with question mark).; Eventually the system folder is found and OS 10.4.11 starts up--sometimes in 20 seconds and sometimes in 3, 4, 5 minutes or longer..........I have tried 2 brand new batteries after numerous PRAM (via keyboard) and CUDA resets (depressing the CUDA button on the motherboard just once and then installing the new battery). The battery terminals in the Cube look perfect--no corrosion. With the new battery, startups were fine for a day but now 4 out of 5 times, I will get the question mark folder. Using Disc Utility, I fixed any errant permissions and the hard drive checks out with zero problems. Once running, the Cube works great, but these startups are maddening. One other issue; if I start up with the G4 Cube 9.1 installation disc, the install program DOES NOT recognize any bootable discs; whilst starting up using the Tiger Upgrade install disc, my 2 bootable discs (partitions of my Western Dig. hard drive) ARE recognized. Any ideas would be greatly welcome!!
I believe I have solved the problem regarding the question mark startup---> after rechecking all cable connections to HD, OD, and logic board, I revisited the jumper setup on the HD; it turns out that I set the HD up to be the MASTER, but what I should have done was set the HD to be the MASTER with attached SLAVE. Since reconfiguring the jumper, all startups have so far been normal. Also, I did install OS 9 drivers, but I the OS 9.1 install disc still does not recognized my 5 gig partition when starting up from the CD; this is minor in retrospect as I can still use the classic mode with a earlier version of OSX that does not hog so much disc space.

Safari Image turns to Tiny Blue Box with Question Mark
Hi all,
I get tiny blue question mark a lot in Safari.
Many Website where i visit almost everyday, the images appear as "tiny blue box with question marks". My Firefox also fails to load the images and had the same problem with "tiny blue box with question marks". Before every site work fine. I have been searching through Google and many others search for almost 12 hrs for a solution to solve this problem but none of it really works out. Basically, I have tried everything, I just can't find and still not able to fix this issue in Safari and Firefox.
Is this a Safari 3.0.4/Firefox 2.0.0.9 problem, or is there some setting on my Mac wrong or is it a new virus recently?
If anyone has any solution to solve this problem, an very much appreciated...
CK Lee (From Thailand)Hi guys, I am also in Bangkok and working (I use the term loosely) with True. Like you, the images have not been loading over the weekend and I have been trying to track this down. I went through all the motions of restarting, clearing caches, etc., but that was no good.
On Saturday morning, I went into my office where I have access to another network (I don't usually use it as it is a bit flaky), but when I tried that, the images did load.
Back at home, I tried again and the blue squares reappeared. I checked some of my own web pages which also had the squares, but only selectively (images in the same directory were OK; those that were accessed via internal links were not). Using FTP I checked the website: images were all OK as were the links on the pages themselves.
As an experiment, I uploaded one image. When I tried the page again, the image appeared. I then uploaded both of the affected directories and the pages were back to normal after a couple of reloads. What this indicates to me is that the cache, either at True or upstream, has a problem.
I do think however that it is True as the other server I used would also access the CAT caches and they seemed OK.
A series of notes to the True helpdesk might jolt them into some action on Monday morning after they have had their starter coffee. I have had some success in the past with [email protected]

2012/13 MacBook Pro froze up, so I did a hard shut down. Now, when I try to start up, it makes 3 unusual beeps, then I get a white screen. After a couple minutes, a flashing file folder with a question mark appears and remains. What is wrong and what can I do to fix it.
Three beeps usually means a RAM or RAM slots problem. The Question Mark means there is no bootable system found.

Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
The main difference if you are using Lion or Mountain Lion is that you must first boot from the Recovery HD. Simply boot from the Recovery HD to perform the above.

Refinement Panel show "file name" values with question mark instead of spaces
Hi,
I customized Refinement Panel to refine by file name. In some cases the value (file name) is shown with question mark instead of space. It looks like gibberish and the refine by that value doesn't bring the result.
Any ideas how to solve?

I have a new MacBook Pro. In mail when I receive anything with images, I just see blue boxes with question marks. Yes, i have tried reloading Mail, I have tried clicking on and off from Display remote Images, I have checked all my preferences and it just won't work.
How can i fix this - there must bean answer.

I'm not one to normally thread jack a post, but I am having the exact same issues, i found your posts while trying to solve the problem. Like tmack101, when I boot into safe mode the images load correctly, so something is loading up at startup thats causing the issue. I am very PC proficient, but am still new to OS X. Defining Check void reasons (for manual checks)
Hi
I am voiding manual checks in FCH9 and FCH8. The check void reasons appearing in drop down are not sufficient. Hence i need to define more check reversal reasons.
I went through SPRO node for bank transactions (in FI). But i am not getting it.
Please help me how to define check reversal reason. Please provide for SPRO path or TCodeIf you do not find the required path in customisation, always Ctrl+F (Find) and type the search text.
Alternatively, searching the forum with "Void Cheques" would have given the answer.
Anyway, you may also reach FCHV by the following path:
IMG ==> Financial Accounting ==> Accounts Receivable and Payables ==> Business Transactions ==> Outgoing Payments ==> Automatic Outgoing Payments ==> Payment Media ==> Check Management ==> Define Void Reason Codes.
Please read F1 help on the configuration screen. -

Ssd can't boot from mainbay folder with question mark
Hello I've searched for my problem but can't find anything same so I'm gona ask.

I'm using MacBook pro mid 2012 with samsung 840 evo ssd 500gb.
today it was working perfect it felt asleep and after wake up it restarted and flashing folder with question mark appeared on screen.
I Know it's some kind of hdd problem. So I've took it out and put in external box to connect to my friends MacBook to see if it's working and does all information is still in it. It was working perfectly. after that I connected it via usb and boot it by holding opt key and it startups normal. To check that it isint sata cable I have puted empty hdd in main bay and booted from ssd connected by usb and both drives show up in disk utility.
So hdd working perfect. Sata cable is good and can read drive.
Macbook boots from ssd connected by usb without any problems.
The only problem is that I can't boot my MacBook from ssd in mainbay it shows flashing folder with question mark.
Maybe anyone had had that issue before.?
How can I solve this problem.?
again sorry for my English. And thank you for all your answers.Do not apologize for your English. I assure you your English is better than what my facility with your language may be.
I have seen a couple of posts similar to yours where the SSD will not boot internally but a conventional HDD will. The resolution in one case was a new SATA cable even though the tests suggested otherwise.
I would take the MBP to an apple store and have them check it thoroughly and see if they can pinpoint to the cable as the problem. Obviously this just a guess on my part.
A call to Samsung technical support may also be a good idea.
Ciao.
