Hi,

internet access. Our security department needs to make sure that I don't
have a corrupt installation file. Therefore I need the checksum for the
installation file. It can be either MD5 or SHA1. The file I downloaded and

I don't understand the question.
Are you doing a deployment over a network?

  • Checksum Error after downloading

Hi, I purchased as a bundle both Adobe Elements 10 and Photoshop Elements together at the half price special. Adobe Elements 10 installed just fine with serial number provided for me...however
Photoshop Elements downloads and upon completion a pop-up window states that "unable to verify, checksum error" and only thing I can do then is to cancel the whole thing. I've tried both download procedures with the same result, failure to get my Photoshop Elements installed due to checksum error...any suggestions?
    thanks

All you can do is try downloading again from the Adobe Web site.  Use IE, if you're using a different browser.

  • Trouble with Adobe FlashPlayer download????

Hope someone can help!  I'm using an HP Pavillion, with Windows Vista.  This was my brother-in-laws computer so I'm not to familiar with all its "internal" parts or things that have been downloaded or updated.   Anyhow, I went to watch a video from the NY Post website and it would prompt me to download the Adobe FlashPlayer, which is exactly what I did, follwed all the prompts to install it and so forth, when I went back to the website to again view the video, it again is promting me to download adobe flashplayer????  Why is it doing this, do i need another program in conjunction with Adobe FlashPlayer in order for it to work, or for the websites to recognize that I do have adobe downloaded???  Can anyone help me please???

What web browser are you using?  If Internet Explorer, check

  • Copy flashplayer download to another computer

We are in a remote area with a very slow internet connection and cannot install flashplayer there, as the installation fails halfway through the process.  How can we download flashplayer onto a laptop in an area with a faster connection and then copy and install the program on the computer in the remote area?

Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by clicking one of the following links.
Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
Copy it to a USB Flash Drive and move it to the other computer.

  • FlashPlayer downloading problem

I have tried three times to update my Flashplayer, but each time I try downloading I only get through the first two steps. The third step presents me with an opportunity to also install another program, relating to Photoshop and one other program, at a cost of $9.99 per month, which I do not need and want to decline. But there is no "No thank you" or other decline button. And try as I have (three times), there is no concluding page that confirms the download was (or was not) successful.
My Macbook Pro has OS 10.6.8 and the browser I use most is Safari 5.1.10. I also have Firefox and Google Chrome.
I just checked my Mac and am told by it that all my software is up-to-date.
Yet when I try to view a YouTube file, and other files requiring FlashPlayer, I keep getting advised I need to update FP.
How do I decline the Photoshop/etc.offer and pass ahead onto Step 3, Download?
    Many thanks.

thanks for putting it so succinctly, I'm waiting patiently for someone to reply to you with an answer. I am having the same problem, same Os , same safari version.
(Gmail recently tells me this version of safari is no longer supported, however it is , in that i have no problem with getting emails. That notification coincided with this update of flash player )
. I updated flash player because of the sudden notifications from you tube and face book videos that i needed an update. it worked briefly- then not
i have uninstalled it once and reinstalled it , that worked for that one time and now is back to not working again
i have been trying to sort this out with limited knowledge of this stuff, made sure java script is enabled etc, can't find a problem with safari even though gmail thinks so, meanwhile frequent notifications that i need to update flash player when i thought I'd already done that, twice.
thanks for any advice  in advance

  • Flashplayer download problem

I tried downloading the flash player more than 5 times today. I used the uninstaller from adobe site to uninstall all previous versions after I was unsuccessful around the 4 time. I followed all that I was instructed to do, yet I'm still getting the message "cannot contact reliable source" when the download reach 49%. What is wrong and how do I install the flashplayer on my HP lap top computer.

What is your operating system & version?
    What is your web browser?

  • Extra products with Flashplayer download

Downloading Flashplayer 11 and saw Google taskbar and Google Chrome beint downloaded. I dont want Google Chrome.

    DeeBee,
"Bundled software" comes with so much stuff these days, and I don't like it any more than you do... so I don't update ANYTHING [Adobe free products, or Creative Suites, Microsoft Office 2003, 2007, 2008(Mac), 2010, 2011(Mac) or 2013), Roxio Media Creator or Toast (Mac), VLC Media Player, Java (Windows or Mac), Silver light, or ANY of nine (9) OS builds I have on my machines] automatically. It's a pain having to do that for every suite or piece of software on every machine, but I pick three or four every Wednesday and just go through everything. It beats the **** out of having to undo a McAfee or Norton install, and since I already have Chrome for testing webpages and plugins, it's installed and up to date anyway.
I'm not justifying the practice, just offering and recommending a way to avoid it. I won't even begin to adress the ethics because I've actually read the download agreements and end user agreements for just about every Adobe product there is, and believe me, they cover this. Besides, I'm a volunteer here, and not an employee or manager, so my voice is just like yours on this.
I need my machines for troubleshooting and three of them to make a living building websites for people. I can't afford problems caused by unwanted software interfering with what I already have. So, I take control.

  • Flashplayer download not working with Safari 7

I'm on a 2013 Macbook Air and I recently tried to download and install the latest Flashplayer update directly from the Adobe website, but it doesn't work.  It does however work just fine on Firefox... weird...and that's fine I could always use Firefox from now on, but would still like to find out how to solve that problem because I DO prefer to use Safari over Firefox.  Any ideas?
    Please & Thank You!

open safari / preferences / security / internet plug ins / manage website settings / select adobe stuff - flash etc.. / always allow.
    should work (it will)

  • Why is my Adobe Flashplayer download timing out at 47%?

I'm trying to connect my daughter's Leap Frog Leap Pad to the computer. It tells me that I need to update my Adobe Flash Player to the latest version. My computer tells me I already have this version installed- 11,7,700,169-. I ask it to update Adobe Flash Player anyway-- and the download always "times out at 47%". I don't know  much about computers...what is the problem?Any help would be appreciated.

  • Slow FlashPlayer Download

I'm embedding Flash video into html using dreamweaver 8.
I'm encoding in QT to FLV with the Soresnsen spark setting to
be compatible with Flash Player 7, in the progressive download
    mode.
Everything plays fine locally, but on the web, it can take up
to 7 seconds for the Flash player to appear, and then even longer
for the video to start playing. Sometimes it even stutters.
I've experimented with smaller file sizes and aspect ratios,
but even at relatively low settings, I still get this delay.
I've also tried encoding via Flash Professional 8 but it
doesn't seem to make a difference. It's as if the real delay is the
download of the player, not the playing of the video.
I'm considering putting in a pre-loader (about which I know
nothing), but I thought maybe you might have some suggestions,
before I get into all that Flash craziness.

That indicates that the download is corrupted; you have to download it again!
The downloaded file (plugin installer) should be 2.65MB = 2,724KB = 2,788,816 bytes.
Can you download the installer from another computer / network connection, then transfer it to your computer with a memory stick or other media?

  • Location for ALL versions of FlashPlayer downloads

I support a wide variety of devices and am looking for a resource on adobe.com that provides links to ALL versions of FlashPlayer, not just the installer for the device I happen to be using at the time to browse adobe.com.  Does this resource exist?  If so, where?  Thanks.

  • Downloading Flashplayer to iMac on 10.9.4

Appleidiot here again. I got a message saying that Apple had blocked Flashplayer and it need updating. Problems now start.  Appear to be able to download though slowly. Go through all three phases get a welcome picture from Adobe but nothing is downloaded no flash player. Then Google puts me on to a site which appears to be operated by someone called "mefiadownloads" they offer me a package to repair my Mac , which I suspect involves Mackeeper. I get rid of this after a struggle but the Adobe update window comes up with a message that I need Java123 to operate the site, if I accept the offer of installation of java I am  back with mediadowloads. There is also an offer that I should download an HD version of Flashplayer which has the same result.
Also my Safari screen changed and had me on an effectively blank screen with the word search over the script box.
Ho Hum, as Ollie would say "this is another fine mess Ive got into"  Anyway can anyone help me to get Flashplayer downloaded and sort out the Java problem.?
Would I be well advised to reinstall OSx and start again ? I have unistalled the old flash player.
Sorry I am operating on OS 10.9.5 Maverick. Have not accepted the next free update on grounds I am not sure what won't work if I update. 4 Gb memory
    Many thanks in advance

Also, you may need to now rid your computer of AdWare that has been installed.
Please review the options below to determine which method is best to remove the Adware installed on your computer.
    The Easy, safe, effective method:

If you are comfortable doing manual file removals use the somewhat more difficult method:

We have an OS X 10.6.8 MAC.  We use several browsers.  The Chrome browser has flashplayer integrated into it.  Our Safari is missing the flashplayer.  When I go to adobe to download I select the flashplayer download choice and arrive at the page telling me I already have it in Chrome, so I click the option for a different browser.  I then get a page with a DOWNLOAD NOW button, but it is not an active button.  Stuck.  Help?
