Their app is rated 17+ because of what you could potentially search with it, so if you have an app age rating set then it will be hidden.
If you can't remember/don't know the restrictions code then do you know if it was on the iPad when you last backed up ? If not then you can restore to that backup and it should be removed. If it was on the iPad when you last backed up then the only way to remove it is to reset the iPad back to factory defaults and you can then re-sync your content back to the iPad - you won't be able to restore to the backup as that will keep the code in place. -
App Store not showing available update (for X-Code)

I regularly check if there are update's for the applications I've purchased and downloaded from the Mac App Store.
So also yesterday.
Result: "all applications are up to date / no updates available".
I have Apple's X-Code installed. Version 4.2.1.
As I browsed the App Store and clicked on X-Code, I saw that the current version was 4.3.3.
Anyone an idea why the App Store said all my applications where up to date where that wasn't the case?
Do I have to check each installed application manually to be sure I have the latest update?

emeu1If you downloaded Xcode from the App Store the update should have been available but there is a work around for this.
Download this free utility to uninstall Xcode and all the associated files > Download AppCleaner for Mac
Then launch AppCleaner. Then drag the Xcode app from the Applications folder to the AppCleaner window. Delete all the associated files listed in that window.
Now go to the App Store and re download the app. That will install the latest 4.3.3 version.
How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.
Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original download. -
2 days ago I downloaded ios7 onto my iphone 4. Every time I update an app, that app stays in the window that is supposed to say "all apps are up to date." I've tried all the fixes, including turning the phone off and on; signing in and out of the app store; resetting the phone etc. Is this a glitch in the ios7 system? Is anyone else out there experiencing this problem? Does anyone have a solution? Thanks
I know VLC makes an iPad player (or used to anyway, they might have removed it for some reason), but the real champion when it comes to ripped media is CineXplayer. I'm not sure how or why, but he offers superb play-back on almost all my content.
He does sometimes have trouble with audio-codecs... and on my first gen-ipad he lags on 1080p playback. But I think that's a hardware limitation due to the tiny RAM chip they put in it, more so than a software limitation. -

My apps will not update, keeps asking for password
I am trying to go on and update my apps. It did not recognize my password, I reset my password and updating my system to the iOS 7, once it had restarted I went back to my apps it prompted me to enter my password. I did, and the update circles but does nothing then says update again. I don't know what else to do. Help!

The steps below can help get your iCloud account updated on your device.
Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Go to Settings > iCloud. Complete these steps only if the Find My [Device] setting is turned on:
Scroll down and tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
Tap “Keep on My [Device]” or “Delete from My [Device].” In either case, your data remains in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter the password for your previous Apple ID.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Return to Settings > iCloud and sign in with your new Apple ID.

i was going to upgrade from 10.6.8 to mavericks 10.9.2, but the installer program notified me stating my appleworks 6 app will not run on the new set up. is there a procedure to keep or switch my documents in order to obtain the mavericks upgrade?

I suggest that you clone your current drive with 10.6.8 to an external drive. If you have any issues after upgrading to Mavericks, you can boot back into 10.6.8.

I own Final Cut Pro 6 and have been running it on an older G4 tower. I upgraded to a MacPro tower and the app will not install. I get a message "Not supported on this computer" cannot believe this. Help anyone.

When I go to settings, cellular the Music Icon is not listed. I cannot turn on use cellular data for itunes for my music in itunes match. How do I get the icon listed there.

There should be an entry in that section for iTunes, which includes both the iTunes Store and iTunes Match:
Set when cellular data is used for apps and services. Go to Settings > Cellular, then turn cellular data on or off for any app that can use cellular data. If a setting is off, iPhone will use only Wi-Fi for that service. The iTunes settings include both iTunes Match and automatic downloads from the iTunes Store and the App Store.
