hi friends,
i have created script form , i displayed material characteristic and discription, in characteristic in chines .
in print priew displayed chines is truncated but print out is clear.
i give length is 30 means chines cheater clearly displayed in print priew but charcteristic field was truncated.
how to solve this please help me.

Hi,
Go to NACE Transaction, Select the Application EF, Click on Output types Button on the application toolbar, Select NEU, Double click on Processing Routines in left panel, you will get the form name and Print Program name.
You can also find from TNAPR table by giving the application in the selection.

Prob in alv report

hi all,
I hav prob in alv report .I made a purchse register alv report.when I see output it show's everything right but in printpreiew and when transfer to spreadsheet. It cut's back part of voucher number.for ex.v.no :5100021 but see in print priew itshow's like this 51000... and in excel sheet it cut down the last no. so it creates rundancy of voucher no. plz tell me sol. I don't know wat is happening.

you can do this for the voucher number in your fieldcat.
give the outputlen as the maximum outputlength of the voucher no.
fieldcat-fieldname = 'VOUCHER'.
fieldcat-...
<b>fieldcat-NO_ZERO = 'X'.</b>
append fieldcat to it_fieldcat.
and now check it.

Output could not be displayed in smartforms

Hi All,
I am working on the picking list smart form.when i am issuing the output in vl03n transaction I am able to see the print priew ,but when I am coming back of print priew getting the message like OUTPUT COULD NOT BE DISPLAYED .Can anybody tell me where I am doing the mistake.
It ia an urgent task.Points will be rewarded for usefeul answers.

How to save the output format of Quotation in PDF

Dear all,
When i am take a print priew of Quotation it show the quotation format in std sap format but it dosenot allow to save ?
Is there any std setting for Saving the output format?
Plz send the some solution for the same.

If the output is sapscript, you can convert it into PDF format . There is one standard report RSTXPDFT2 to convert into PDF .
Before Execute you will have to create a spool request . when you will execute this report you will have to enter the
spool no. Then you can send this PDF file as attachment.

Acrobat 8 landscape got cut off

good day everyone, i am puzzled by this weired question and couldn't find
similar post on the forum.
A user is using acrobat 8 to convert excel to pdf. The excel sheet is set to landscape and everything look fine under print preview. However, after user convert to pdf, the right side got cut off in the resulting pdf document. When I try the convertion on my workstation with acrobat 9, the page display correctly.
When I use File->print. select adobe pdf as printer and check print priew, the page still show as right side got cut off even though it was already set to landscape and legal size paper.
any thought on this? is there a setting i ned to change in acrobat 8 to make it work like acrobat 9 did regarding this type of convertion?

I had a similar problem on my desktop system running Office 2003 and Acrobat 9.4.6 under Windows XP. A spreadsheet was designed to print "landscape" on letter-size paper. Printing to paper on my HP Deskjet 5650, it printed fine. But when printing to Adobe PDF, only the leftmost 3/4 of the document would print; the rightmost 1/4 would be blank. The difference was apparent in Excel's "Print Preview" mode depending on which printer was selected. I was stumped until I discovered this thread. Then, to fix it, I followed these steps:
Opened my spreadsheet.
Invoked File/Print and chose the printer "Adobe PDF", but did not click "OK", instead I clicked "Properties".
On the dialog "Adobe PDF Document Properties" I clicked the tab "Paper/Quality" and on that tab I clicked the button "Advanced".
On the dialog "Adobe PDF Converter Advanced Options" under "Graphic" I changed Print Quality from 4000 dpi to 600 dpi.
I clicked OK repeatedly to close all the dialogs and confirm the print.
See the screen shot below (click on the thumbnail for a full-size view).
I wouldn't have thought that the Graphic Print Quality would make any difference on an all-text document, but apparently it does.

while preparing PO, with one vendor system is giving the below message and
when observed the vendor master data,last view vendor partner roles not updated.
If i go ahead with the same vendor, after giving tax code, taxes tab not getting open to calculate taxes
Despite,condition records are there for the respective condition types with the key combination material,vendor,plant why system is not picking taxes?

some times taxes getting calculated properly but in print priew, tax related informaton(values) missing.
what might be the possible reason? please suggest the way

Multiple smartform in one spool req

Hello all,
i am calling same smartform multiple time (twice) from a program. i want to see the output in print priew as first page as first smartform data and second page as second smartforms data. will you please guid me how can i do this. please provide me step by step process.
The two smartforms are getting called when i checked two checkboxes.

Hi friends,
I want to print the next page in d SAP Script. I assigned the second page in d first page n called d second page recursively.
With this i m getting to view the print priew of the second page but the ntries in the main window r gettin repeated. If i doont assign d 2nd page den i m getting d correct o/p but the next page is not called.
Even d footer is not gettin called after the main window. It is displayed in d first page itself evn if the main window extends to the second page.
Plz reply.....

while giving attributes for PAGE give <firstpagename> followed by <secondpagename>
select EDIT and create element (page name & description) for the additional page

Transparency problems when sending artwork

Hello, I have a strange problem with one of the packaging artworks I am trying to send to China for printing. I have sent other packaging files with the exact same design and flashes (but different products) and they have all been proofed back fine, but for some reason the printers in China are saying this particular file is opening up as below, but when I open it - it looks as is should do to me.
Is there something I need to do my end for it to open properly at their end? I will be sending hundreds of these packaging files, so would like to not keep running into this problem.

As you can see where I have subtle "flashes" on the correct one, they have changed to massive 100% ones on the China one.
Also the Banner at the top has subtle 20% lines whereas they have gone to 100% on the China one.

They are opening it in illustrator. They supply me a cutter guide in illustrator and I send it back with artwork. Other files have opened ok at their end with the exact same design. But having problems with others as the above example, which doesnt make sense as its the same flashes and banners.
I was wondering if there was something I can do my end, to ensure artwork is recieved exactly as I send it. I've been looking into transparency flattening. But was wondering if someone knew of something obvious I was missing.

I am working with scripts. I created the barcode(Zbarcode) with tcode SE73 and i saw its print priew from SE73 it is coming.I mentioned Zbarcode name in my script and i saw print preview ,it is not coming,,,Why????????

It must come in script print priview and print also.
Otherwise u can directly mention in SE71 script in character formats bar code option will be there.

Embedding problems in Illustrator CS6

Hi I am having a very strange problem in illustrator and I can't work out what is wrong.
Before in a previous version when I embedded a barcode into an .ai file the barcode was fine but now in my new CS6 the stroke sizes go "mad" and resize?
Is there some sort of setting I am not selecting? I need to embed ALL images / barcodes into the packaging design as I need to send it to china for printing. (and create outlines - but can't do this until the barcode has first been embedded)

Hi I do the following, which always works for me now:
Select - Edit - preferences - general - tick the "scale strokes and effects" - make sure this is on
File - place - and then just by unclicking the "link" box before I place the barcode image, it brings it in already embedded and then i can resize it and outline as normal.

Almost all HP printers are manufactured in China, Malaysia and Thailand and Mexico. Their serial Numbers will start with CN, MY, TH and MX respectively. I'm not sure of how to obtain printers from a specific location from any HP outlets. You'll probably have to go to the store and view the Serial number on the box before buying it.

Print Preview Chines Word layout Run

Hi All,
I did a smartform with displaying the chinese word, when i display the form in print preview all the wording is run and overlay. But when I print out from printer overall is ok without any layout problem .
Any ideas why the layout is run when displaying in print preview ?

I think you have to pass the print parameter.
data : iprint type slis_print_alv.
iprint-no_change_print_params = 'X'.
now pass that to alv_grid display fm is_print parameter.
it may work.
