Chinese language for a phone bought in Europe.

I bought my phone in Bulgaria, and it is preloaded with English language and some other languages example - Bulgarian.
I would like to use it in China, because i live and work here, so i hope that i can install Chinese language to be able to read, write and send chinese SMS and read and browse chinese language websites.
please tell me what to do so that i can have
English / Bulgarian / Chinese at the same time

I wanted to buy this phone in HK, and if i had bought it there everything would be great. But they had it sold out, so i tried to buy it in Holland, then Belgium, France but the price was killing ( double the HK's price). Finally i found it in Bulgaria at a reasonable price.
Now i am in the middle of a big struggle how to make it read and write simplified chinese. Some friends told me that it is easily done if i go to a 'service' and they FLASH my phone, but as i know that after your phone has been flashed, it is usually ready to be thrown away, i dont really dare to do that, so i thought that there could be a better solution.
E-71 is my phone, and this one is a really masterpiece !
I want to tell Nokia that they finally did a phone that is working! I have been using Nokia for 10 years, and this is the first one which is really good !
All the other **bleep** i had is so slow that you can take a nap between commands.

I recently purchased a N73 from UK some months back, and right now i would like to set the language for the phone to be Mandarin, but it doesn't have that language. Does anyone know how or where i can go about doing that? Thank you

You'll have to take the phone into a Nokia Care Point and ask them to install a Chinese language pack.
Note that the absence of support for Chinese in a phone intended for the UK market is not a fault in the phone and that the installation of the language pack is therefore not covered by the warranty. There may be a charge for this service.
Also note that languages installed independently of the phone's firmware do not survive firmware updates or phone resets. If you do update the phone's firmware or reset the phone after having the language pack installed, the pack will be erased and you'll have to have it re-installed.

iTunes gift cards are only valid on accounts based in the country in which the card was issued - so if you have a US account then you can only use US gift cards. Do you know anybody in the country where you bought it from that you could sell or give it to ? Or you could try selling it on a site such as eBay.

Account to display in Chinese language for Report writer report

Hi All,
I am working on Report Write Report.
I need to display the description of G/L Account in chinese language.
That particular Accout's description in FS00 for Short text and Long text has already maintained in chinese Language.
In my Report I am using the Layout ZCORP1.
What I am trying to doing is
1) I am changing the Layout using GR12 . Here in tab Language-Dependent,
I am trying to change Language Key to ZH (chinese) from EN ( English),
but not able to do.
2) In GR22, to change Library (which I have used for my Report), I am
trying to change Original language to chinese, but not able to do.
3) In GR32 to change the Report, I am trying to change the
Maintenance Language to Chinese, but not able to do.
Ok.. my main motive for all above is to see the output for G/L Account in chinese
Is my approach is right or what shall I do.
Please guide soon. It is urgent.

Chinese Language Unreadable on Phone

I purchased my Nokia 6680 from Dubai and now am using it in China. I am not able to read Chinese text in it as they cannot be identified by this phone. Instead I get BOXES in place of Chinese characters. How this problem can be resolved? If anybody has any information pls respond.

That is because the phone bought outside the Chinese speaking region does not include Chinese fonts to display Chinese characters.
You could try asking a Nokia service center in China whether they can put Chinese version of phone software (firmware) on your phone.

Chinese language for Elements 12?

Tech Spec (on the Adobe UK website) says Elements 12 is available in Chinese, but when I try to order online I do not get a Chinese language option. I tried talking with an Adobe rep "online" but they couldn't help me, apart from tell me "it must be a sales issue, please talk with sales" - but how do I talk with sales?
(PS - the UK website offers Elements 12 on Windows in many European languages; the US website offers only English, French, Spanish; the Hong Kong website offers only English; the Middle East and Africa store offers only English & French.... can anybody explain WHY?

Alex1955 I am sorry but I am unable to locate a Chinese language version of Photoshop or Premiere Elements 12. I would recommend using one of the languages which are available if you wish to use Photoshop Elements 12 or Premiere Elements 12.
It does appear there is a Chinese version of Photoshop and Premiere Elements 11. You may want to work with a local reseller to obtain a copy.

I have recently updated my nokia software version from V21.0.025 to V31.0.101 using the nokia software updater. However i notice that my Chinese, Malay & Indonesia languages have all dissapeared.

Looks like you bought a phone that was meant for another region and the language pack containing Chinese was installed afterwards by the retailer. The retailer should have told you this. When you updated the firmware, the phone reverted back to its original language set. Worst of all, the warranty may not be valid in your country.
Anyway, language packs can only be installed by Nokia Care Points and you will lose it again the next time you update your firmware.

How can I restored the trace pad input for Chinese Language?

I am using Chinese language for my MacBook Pro. I usually use the trace pad to input the Chinese?But, after I install OS lion, the trace pad seems working, but all the words can not input into the Applications(Safari...). And I tried to unselect the input option of trace pad. It is gone! I tried to restore but I can not? Can please anyone tell me how to restore the Trace Pad input option back from language input setting? Thanks!

Regardless of the language of your Nokia Software Updater, the phone is still the same and will always have the same languages.
As others had already said in this thread before you posted, the solution is to go to a Nokia Care Point and have them install a Chinese language pack for you. There may be a charge for this. Also note that you will have to have the language pack re-installed if you have to reset the phone for any reason (including a firmware update).

N78: How to install Chinese language?

My phone comes with chinese language input when I bought it. After I updated it using Nokia Software Updater, the option of the former chinese language input has gone. I checked my phone and found that the chinese input had changed to Taiwan version. I'm from Malaysia and I'm having problem using the Taiwanese Chinese language input. Help me, please. Thanks!!

It seems that somebody flashed your phone. Anyway, the only official way to get a language pack into your phone is to go to a Nokia care center.

Issue with Chinese language in DI

My source is AS400 with CCSID=935, my target is Oracle with AL16UTF16. I migrate data from source (in Chinese language) to target by DI version 3.0. I used Client Access ODBC driver to connect to AS400.
It run well. But data is not correct, it can't show in Web Intelligence report, they are only square symbol. It's just got issue with Chinese language, for English, it' fine.
I also tried to set code page of source to shift_jis and target to utf8. But it still got the same result.
I don't know anything I need to set. Please help me to fix this.

Yes. I changed the datastore to default.
I used both method: ODBC driver and IBM iseries access to connect to AS400. ODBC is the same in BODI. In universe, I used default, I can see data. But in BODI, I can't.
My machine is BOE client software. But I created universe in my machine, export it. And then from my machine, I created WI report, also export to CMS. And then I view it in ViewInfo. Everything runs well for both connections.
But in BODI, I use it to migrate data to Oracle. I can't see data in DataView of Designer too. Although, I changed locale, set codepage to default as you told, it didn't work.
Any suggestions please.

Hi, I'm new here, however I face a problem after updating the firmware of my N73 to V4.0736.3.2.1 that is it cannot read chinese language which makes SMS-ing hard. Can anyone kindly suggest me a solution?
I've tried using Hong Kong's NSU and etc. It's still the same and frankly speaking, all the updates only comes with English, Malaysia, Pilipino, Indonesia but no Chinese.

I bought Nokia X6 in Hong Kong 2 months ago, at that time I can use full screen handwriting for Chinese language. But after updating the SW I'm no longer able to use Chinese handwriting input.

I think you need to find a Chinese font that works when you install it into your operating system... not all fonts are created equal, and not all fonts work... I don't use Chinese, so can only suggest using Google to search for a font that works with your Mac

If the phone is not unlocked, let's say for example it is locked to another carrier such as at&t, when you put in the Tmobile SIM in, the phone would complain about the SIM.
Does your phone do that? If yes, then the party that sold you the iPhone4S (if you purchased it from another person) may have not done the unlocking properly, and that may explain why Tmobile is insisting on the phone being locked.
If you purchased your iPhone4S new from Apple, did you pick Tmobile, or did you choose unlocked?
If you picked the Tmobile choice, then it should come up ready to use.
If you picked the unlocked choice, then you would need to visit Tmobile to purchase a nano-SIM and usually they should be more than willing to help you, since you're paying for their service.
But as you have indicated, this phone is under AppleCare, so if it doesn't work with a supposedly good Tmobile SIM, the quickest way to fix this is to get a replacement phone. When we troubleshoot we always try the least time consuming methods first.
You may have noticed it, that a good number of unfortunate uses of the iPhone4S have had their wifi become strangely disabled after upgrade to iOS7. Your situation is the reverse, your wifi is useable but not your cellular network.
In the mean time, you can apply for a Google Voice account (see http://www.google.com/voice), and obtain a free North American telephone number. You can then download one of many free Google Talk applications. Set it up, and you will be able to call and receive phone calls using your wifi. This would be just for the transition period before you get a useable phone.
Google voice provides average voice quality calls to and from US & Canada numbers for free for 1 hour per call. You can use this as a temporary work around while you are waiting for your replacement phone.
