Chinese support of "Export a Response to Form layout PDF File"

One quick question about the form exporting function.
Although Chinese is not officially supported in FormsCentral yet, the display is correct most of the time (layout, view response, export xls).
Yet we need to confirm one more thing which is crucial to our company, how is the chinese support in the function "Export a response to PDF in a form layout"?
Here's some situations of Chinese support I tried so far:
Export responses to xls file                                             -----OK
Print the Detail View of a Response                                -----OK
Export the Detail View of a Response to a PDF File    -----Chinese character turns into "...."
Export a Response to a PDF File That Matches the Form Design -----Not known, need your help

You can export responses as excel file. Open the responses tab, choose File -> Export Responses and select Excel file format to export to.
Thanks,
Wenlan

    Hi,
       Go through the program RSTXPDFT4 (Converting SAPscript (OTF) or ABAP List Spool Job to PDF), you will get some idea.  Using this program you can convert spool into PDF file.

  • Why did you not explain how to return a filled form via pdf file?

    Why is there no explanation on how to return form via pdf file?'

    Unfortunately, because IRS forms are XFA forms, the flattenPages method that the tool Gilad mentioned won't work, and neither will Preflight or PDF Optimizer.
    You can fill-in and save the form with Acrobat or Reader, open it in Preview, and select: File > Print > PDF > Save as PDF
    or "Save as Adobe PDF" for that last step. You may have to fiddle with the scaling to get it right.

  • Export multiple response entries to combine PDF.

    Is it possible to export multiple response entries into a singe multi-page (combined PDF?  This can be done externally using Adobe Acrobat Pro, but it would be extremely useful for distributing responses to clients especially since some cannot access the responses through mobile devices such as IPAD.

    Sorry, we currently don't support this. You have to export them one at a time.

  • Convert pdf files into wiki pages, and export wiki pages as word and pdf files

    I am working on an enterprise wiki site collection inside my SharePoint server 2013. And there was a requirement to automatically generate wiki pages from word documents. As I read that the built-in service within SharePoint does not support importing the
    pictures within the word documents. So I looked into 3rd party tools and I settle on the “Kaboodle Word to Wiki” link
    which will manage to convert word docs into wiki pages, with only minor layout problems.
    But I want to know if there are additional tools which support the following:-

    I haven't seen any third party tool converting pdf files to SharePoint wiki pages and and exporting SharePoint wiki pages into pdf and word files.
    You need to write custom feature where you can use iTextSharp pdf for pdf conversion. you can also check below blog which shows the export of SharePoint Wiki to Word/PDF without 3rd party tools:

    I am trying to create a cover letter type of PDF file which I can attach with several other PDF files.  The recipient will open, fill in fields and return.  I seem to have this created but when I manually attach as a single file and send the recipient cannot fill out text fields.  If I use the wizard to distribute it does not allow me to attach other files.  Not all attached files are in PDF form. • Place the Adobe Form as PDF file in a URL

    Hi Experts,
    I have created an Adobe form and got the PDF data in the form of XSTRING now I need to place this as PDF file in the URL which I have generated programmatically. Not sure on how to do it. Any function modules or classes to place this as PDF file at a URL will be really helpful for me.
    Tried with HTTP* function modules and seems they are not working.
    Thanks for you help.

    Hi Sai,
    Thanks for ur input.
    My requirement is not exactly the string with XML data, but the string with PDF data.
    I will try to explain my requirement here in detail.
    I have the adobe form triggering from the webdynpro. This form has different objects like, text fields, dropdowns, check boxes, radio buttons...etc and one SUBMIT button for which webservice is attached in the properties.
    User will fill all the fields and clicks on SUBMIT. When he clicks on the SUBMIT, the webservice should attach the filled PDF document at partner level.
    For this purpose, i need the string with PDF data and not the XML.
    WIth this PDF string again i should be able to re generate the PDF document which was filled by the user.
    If string with PDF data is not possible, Please suggest me the possible way of achieving this?
    Regards,
    Ram.

  • Converting a Word document with form fields to become a form fillable PDF file with email

    We are trying to convert a number of word(97,and 2000) documents but it never works correctly. The converted PDF file is missing fields and the fields it does convert is one character long. The idea was to have LiveCycle just convert it without anyone having the need to re-design it. They would only need to add a submit button and an email address to the PDF form. Is there something we are missing?

    For the problem of submitting by email and still submitting a PDF file:
    The stock "Submit by Email" button submits via XML. I think you can do one of two things to get it to work:
    1) Use a regular "Button" instead of an "Email Submit Button". Set it's type to "Submit" in the Field tab; then on the Submit tab, use something like "mailto:name@company" for your email address in the Submit To URL box, and set the Submit As type to PDF.
    2) Change the XML for your Email Submit button (in the XML Source view): You'll find something like,
    <event name="event__click" activity="click">
    <submit format="xml" textEncoding="UTF-8" target="mailto:name@company"/>
    </event>
    Change it to:
    <event activity="click" name="event__click">
    <submit format="pdf" textEncoding="UTF-16" xdpContent="pdf datasets xfdf" target="mailto:name@company"/>
    </event>
    I don't know if you need to change just the "Submit format" in the XML, or also add the xdpContent tag.
    Hope that works,
    Mike

  • Combining forms with pdf files

    I need to find a solution to combine my new LiveCycle form with my pdf files that have filable text fields. When I try to combine them I get a message saying "Adobe XML Forms cannot be merged". My goal is to be able to link and fill all the fields from the form to the pdf files. Thank you in advance.

    Basically you have to lay the whole thing out in LiveCycle.
    I've done it by using the Replace Artwork (under the Edit menu) command on an existing form and selecting a pdf that has all the pages I need in it. Then you have to move the existing fields in your LC form to the proper pages.
    Or, put together a pdf with all the pages, bring that into LC as a new form and then copy/paste your existing fields to where you need them.
    I don't know if there's a better method hopefully someone else has some ideas. It would be a nice feature in a future version of LC to be able to add pages to an existing form.

  • Jsf form to pdf file, how?

    Hi all how to transform a jsf form to a pdf to download?
    many thanks

    There is no such thing. Generally you use the print function of the browser - it is your job to properly apply css so a page prints nicely. Otherwise you have to dig into itext which is the api for producing pdf files.

  • Download Adobe-Form to PDF-File in Background

    Hi,
    I have developed an Adobeform which should be processed with a SM37-Job in background.
    Is it possible to export the document as pdf to a Share on the filesystem?

    Uploading and downloading adobe forms in sap report program This thread contains the answer,
    let me extract it for you:
    1. Use the FM 'FP_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME'
    * Get the name of the generated function module
      CALL FUNCTION 'FP_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME'
        EXPORTING
         i_name       = 'ZAD_FORMNAME'
        IMPORTING
       e_funcname = V_FMNAME.
    2. Call the generated function module to generate the pdf.
    CALL FUNCTION lv_fmname
          EXPORTING
              /1bcdwb/docparams  = s_docparams
          IMPORTING
             /1bcdwb/formoutput   = s_form_output
          EXCEPTIONS
             usage_error   = 1
             system_error       = 2
             internal_error     = 3.
    3. The above structure 's_form_output' will have the PDF output in the XSTRING.
    4. Use the FM - SCMS_XSTRING_TO_BINARY to convert the XSTRING to binary.
    5. Finally call the GUI download Function Module or Method -
    CALL METHOD cl_gui_frontend_services=>gui_download

  • Send fillable form as PDF file

    Hello,
    I created a fillable PDF document using Adobe Acrobat XI Pro for MAC and at the bottom of the form, I added a button to send the form.  This form is being filled out by employes using Adobe Acrobat Reader.  They must fill out the form and click on send to have the form sent out to the proper email address.
    As "Button properties", I went into the ACTION tab and set it up the following way:
         SELECT TRIGGER:  Mouse Up
         SELECT ACTION:  Submit a form
    In the SUBMIT A FORM properties, I set everything up this way:
         ENTER URL FOR THIS LINK:  mailto:[email protected]
         EXPORT FORMAT:  PDF The complete document
    The problem I am having is when the form is filled out by the employes, they get an error message saying it cannot be sent.  I searched the web and found out that Acrobat Reader cannot send fillable PDF forms.  I tried changing the EXPORT FORMAT option to FDF, HTML or XFDF but none of them worked...
    I'm sure there is a way to setup my form to send it (once filled out) using acrobat reader but I can find how to do that.  Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance for your time !

    When a user opens the file in Acrobat Reader, they can fill it out and print it no problems.  However, if they wish to send it via email, this is not possible.  I looked on Google and found out that I must save the fillable PDF using "File > Save As > Reader Extended PDF > Enable Adding Text In Documents" but this option doesn't seem to be available in the MAC version of Adobe Pro...
    I'm a bit lost now...

  • Printing individual forms in pdf file

    I have multiple interactive forms in an Adobe X Pro file.  Is there a way to edit the printing so the user can print an individual form rather than selecting the related page numbers?

    Thank you for your swift reply.
    I am creating a 65 page manual containing multiple forms.  Depending on the circumstance, the person will fill out the appropriate form.  For example, Form #1 is 4 pages (pp 34, 25, 36 & 37), Form #2 is 3 pages (pp 38, 39 & 40).  I would like to preset the print settings so when person clicks the print button on Form #1 only so those pages in the document print.
