Chinese Word list Update 1.5 not downloaded and installed automatically

On my Macbook Pro with Retina display 15 inches running OSX 10.8.3, an update called "Chinese Word list Update 1.5" show up on Update available list in Appfresh application. But when I click on install, Mac APp Store open to search for that update, but it end up with "No update available"
When I click Software Update from Apple menu, the same thing with No update available occurred.
On my system information, I have Chinese Wrd list Update 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1nd 1.4 installed. But I can't get this 1.5 Chinese Word list Update to automatically downloaded and installed as in the previous version
Where can I download chinesewordlistupdate.pkg version 1.5 for manual installation? I cannot find it anywhere on APple support website
This problem always occured when a new Chinese Word list Update is released. Why Apple won't make this update available for manual download or thru normal process of software update? Why Apple has to make this very suspicious update? I can't find answer anywhere on the Internet
Can any expert here point me to download this chinesewordlistupdate.pkg version 1.5 so that I can manually install it please

Perhaps it would help if you would do a few things to make sure the Apple update system knows that your machine needs to do Chinese.  This includes a) check the boxes to activate the simplified and traditional input sources in system preferences/language & text/input sources, b) download the additional 10 chinese fonts which Apple provides only when you try to enable them in Fontbook, and c) download the additional chinese voices which Apple provides only when you check their boxes in system preferences/speech/system voice/customize.
It might also help to temporarily switch the OS interface to Chinese and then check for software updates.

  • Chinese Word list update 1.6 has been released by Apple but no update to my Mac. Help Please

Apple has released Chinese Word list update 1.6 on May 6, 2013. It is a 105 kb update file. I have Chinese word list updte from 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, and 1.5 installed on my Mac. So I think I need it.

Where on earth can I get this chinesewordlistupdate.pkg file to manually update my Mac to 1,6?
And I really don't understand why Apple release this update in this kind of ashin many times and it is very anoying. I have contacted Apple support many times, but there is no clear response and they said there is no such kind of update.

I think you are mistaken about needing it.  Since you do not write in Chinese, it will not be of any more use to you than were the earlier Chinese word list updates you have posted about here in the past.  Nor can I imagine that anyone in these forums will be able to help you get it, any more than they could the last time.

But I wish you good luck!
Apple now has a special discussion forum for Chinese.  You might want to ask there:

  • Chinese Word list Update 1.2 released on October 31, 2012, but it won't update my MBPr

One more time, I have learned that Apple has just released Chinese Word list Update 1.2 on October 31, 2012
For unknown reason, this update, similar to version 1.1 releaed on October 5, 2012, won't update my 15 inch MBP Retina running OSX 10.8.2
I have managed to get chinesewordlistupdate.pkg version 1.1 for manual install from http://reviews.cnet/com/macfixit
But when i phone Apple Tech support, they said this update is not available for download and manual installl. Indeed, it's available!
So can any friend here point me to download chinesewordlistupdate.pkg version 1.2 please, so that i can manually install it

I haves posted this to bugreport.apple.com. Hope I can get solution from Apple Developer, although it's so difficult to get response from them:
On a software name Appfresh, it alerted me to update my MBPr 15 inches running latest OSX 10.8.2, with Chinese Word List Update 1.2. When I clicked on Software Pdate, app Store return No update available.
My system have Chinese Word List Update 1.0 installed, and on October 5, 2012, Chinese Word List Update 1.1 was released by Apple, as alerted through AppFresh. However, this update never get updated on m system. I have to manually download chinesewordlistupdate.pkg from reviews.cnet.com/macfixit and install it manually. By doing so, I have Chinese Word List Update 1.1 on my system.
The same problem occurred again today on November 5, 2012, where Chinese Word List Update is released by Apple. again, it fail to update from Software Update menu.
    Can you please:
    1. Explain why this problem occurred. This is so annoying.
    2. Advise me how can I get this Chinese Word List Date to update to version 1.2. Can you please send me the chinesewordlistupdate.pkg for version 1,2 so that I can manually install it on my system?
    3. How can I prevent similar problem with he subsequent version?
Why Apple don't make this update standard as other update?
Support please. Thank for response in advance.

Please send all these files to me, and I can put them into respective locations ro get my system, to update to Chinese Word list Update 1.7

In this complicated case, I think it's important that you get your work in.
The Photography Plan includes Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC. Open an account with them and for $10 a month you can be back in business which I think nets you more than $10. It's what I do. You can do this immediately. You get two seats and they can be either Mac or PC.
In your spare time you can sort out the license issue and cancel the plan later on if this is fixed.
If you don't want to go there, then you will have to call Customer Service by phone and hope they can fix this.

  • 10.1 not downloading and installing?

I had the previous version - 10.0.?  I received notification of update to 10.1.  So I updated the uninstaller, then ran the uninstaller, rebooted my computer, then tried to download and install the new version which should only take 2 minutes.  Instead, it takes 2 hours and then when it finally gets to 100% I get the message that "the file did not pass the integrity check".  I have tried half a dozen times without success and have checked my IE settings, which are as recommended.  Very frustrating. I have Vista Home Premium 32-bit and IE8.  I would really appreciate help with this as I'm not very good techie-wise.

Hello Eidnolb, thanks for trying to help. Apologies for delay, I've just got home from work.
Security setting is set to Medium for Internet Zone.
I followed the instructions in the Adobe Uninstall guide.
    I only use IE8.
I have McAfee Security Centre which includes Anti-Virus, Personal Firewall, Site Advisor etc (but I have always had McAfee and have not had this problem when updating Flash Player before).
I've forgotten what was in the other thread about checking Flash Player files but I'll check that in a minute and submit a second post.
IT, Tools, Manage Add-ons:  I have Adobe PDF helper, some Google, McAfee and Microsoft stuff which is probably of no interest, and Java Plug-in 2 SSV helper.  Shockwave Flash Object is not listed.
Hello Pat. I did not have any browser open when running the installer, except the Adobe webpage that I was trying to download from. I'm not sure how I could close that and download it at the same time?!  But I have not yet tried the link ... distribution3.html.  Should I try this, or wait until you have looked at my reply above.
    Thanks to both of you.

  • HT5278 I can not download and install it on my ipad 2. Could you help me?

Please help me to download and install ios 5.1.1

Without explaining what problems you might be having, There are certain steps that you should follow before you update your iPad.
Transfer purchases from the iPad into iTunes - File>Transfer Purchases - and you should backup the iPad as well. When you update the update the device, if something goes wrong, you can restore from the backup.
However, iTunes should ask if you want to backup before you update, but just in case create the backup yourself before you update. The backup contains your app data and device settings - so make sure you backup first.
If you have any other important files, you may want to transfer them to your computer as well, prior to the update.
    Transfer purchases.

  • Is there a way to have updates download and install automaticly

    Hello All,
I have a network with about 300 computers, 5 of which are Macs. With the recent security issues, and frequent updates, is there a way to set things up so that updates will download and install without any user intervention? Say maybe at 1am? I dont know if this is something you could do with automator.
Any help would be much appreciated!
    Chris

    Chris.Craig wrote:
    5 of which are Macs.
For 5 Mac's, likely it would be better to do it manually, you also get the benefit of waiting for the all clear first.
Apple has been known ot roll out updates that break third party software, anti-virus etc.
Take for instance 10.6.8, seemed harmless, but these boards were flooded with people who's third party Rosetta based software broke, it cost businesses a lot of money in downtime.
Another is firmware updates, three in a row that were bricking Mac's logicboards.
So automatic updates isn't quite the best course of action, and with 5 machines, it's likely better to roll out to one, then another, then the rest jsut to make sure they all don't go down at once, especially with a small number.
Usually you can get the users of those 5 Mac's to update themselves, pick a leader out of the group to coordinate with, they are pretty happy having Mac's and likely to comply when you give the all clear sign.

  • Chinese Word list update 1.9

App Fresh shows this is available, but I have found no way to download it.

Do you use the Chinese input methods to write Chinese?  If not, this software is of no use to you.  As far as I know it is not downloadable.  There is another user who asks about this every time it happens...

  • Application will not download and install.

I have an application package that will not download. I keep seeing "Calling back with empty distribution points list" in the LocationServices.log. I also see CTM job {XXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXX} suspended in the Content TransferManager.log.
So the issue is the client can't find the content on the distribution point I'm guessing. I have confirmed that the package has been distributed to the distribution point. I have removed the package and added it back to the DP. I have also checked the Boundaries
and I think they are set up correctly. I have boundaries that are setup as IP ranges. Those boundaries have been added to a Boundary Group. Under my distribution point I added my boundary group to the distribution point. I then created
a distribution point group that contains all of my distribution points. I would like to see if anyone has any other suggestions for settings to check. I searched Google and did not fine anything very helpful.
    Thank you
