I have been using a leather case with a magnetic clasp for months. The only side effect is that I need to recalibrate the compass app when I use it. This is really not a problem since I don't use the compass app very often. I haven't encountered any other interference or problems.

Hi again. You are correct. That model will cover your docking port but it is not a free flip like the one I bought. Mine has a magnetic closure mechanism which let you answer the iphone with one hand. This one here, has a push and lock mechanism that you need both hands to open it and answer your calls. Aluminium back cover for iPhone 3G?

Does anyone know if I can get the plastic back cover of iPhone 3G replaced with a metallic one? I know there is color ware (http://www.colorwarepc.com/p-161-iphone-3g.aspx) for getting iPhone painted. But it would be nice if to have a metallic back like 1st generation iPhone. Atleast, it would solve the cracking issue!

How to safely remove Apple leather case for iPhone 5/5S?

Waiting for my iPhone 5S which should get here in less than 2 weeks now, I decided to purchase the leather case in advance so I can put it on my iPhone 5.
When I had to take pictures of my iPhone for ebay, I realized how extremely difficult it is to remove the case.
I'm afraid I might damage the phone while taking it back out of the case so I hope there's a safe strategy to get the phone out safely.

Apple does not sell any iPhone parts. 3rd party suppliers like iFixit.com would be your best bet, but will void any warranty you may have.

How can I get a new rear cover for iphone (not 3G)

I have the older iphone 16GB (not 3G). it was broken when I dropped it. I tried taking it apart, and of course, I bent the aluminum back cover of the phone and can't get it back to the exact shape it was in before I bent it. Cover for iphone 4 headphones fell off

I took my headphones out of my pocket today and noticed that one of the covers for my earbuds fell off. I tried to put it back on but it dosent stay on and just falls off. Is there any way to get it to stay on besides glue? The sound coming out of the earbud is fine. I've had my phone for less than a month so i was thinking about just going to the apple store to get them replaced but I figured I'd ask here first.

can't wait to get mine, most likely next month and i need a case so i don't break it. i know that there are some that have glass screens that go over the screen thats already on it and wanted to know if these were worth it and if it impaired the use of it at all since the screen would be covered by another sheet of glass. i also like the jam jacket. i just want to know what you all use and which works the best, for safety and usability. thanx, and it also need to fit in my pocket with the case on it unless there is a firm clip so i can clamp it on my pants. thanx
