Hola, agradecere informacion sobre la posibilidad de reemplazar el chipset de video, a donde puedo dirigirme para solucionar el problema,?,hasta el momento en todos los canales consultados, oficiales y no, solo obtengo como respuesta el diagnostico, pero no tienen la posibilidad de reemplazarlo. Gracias.

No creo que sea tan simple conseguir alguna pieza individualmente, en este caso tendrías que conseguir la placa en su totalidad.
De todos maneras puedes esperar otras opiniones.

Lenovo B320 LCD button (Screen setting button)

Hi all,
I've bought a lenovo ideacenter b320 a week ago and everything works fine except the tiny LCD button on the bottom right corner of the computer frame. Normally when I touch it there should be three more buttons pop up next to it but now when I touch it nothing shows up, it is like the button froze or not working at all. I don't really know what to do. Another question is how does the dynamic brightness system work? Do I have to tick any boxes in the program to activate it?
Any helps would be appreciated.

Lenovo B320 problema con pantalla

Buen dia, hace tiempo que no puedo usar mi computadora porque al encenderla no aparece nada, la checaron y me dijeron que era el display. Me gustaría saber donde puedo conseguir la pantalla y si es posible usar una pantalla que no sea touch. Gracias

Para este caso te recomiendote comuniques con el soporte tecnico de tu pais te generen una orden de servicio Facturable para que sea diagnosticado por los tecnicos y te confirmen la parte que esta presentando la falla y te cotizen la repacion

Lenovo b320 only one

Hola a todos soy nuevo en el foro, queria hacerles una pregunta sobre soft, tuve que cambiar el disco rigido debido a un daño irreparable, reinstale los programas, pero los programas propios de lenovo que venian incluidos, como ser trucos para usar la camara o programas como el reproductor para peliculas en 3d no estan.tengo el windows pelado con los drivers pero no el resto de las aplicaciones que venian originalmente, entre a la pagina de lenovo pero hasta ahora vi solo el driver.Alguien podria indicarme donde conseguir el resto?gracias saludos carlos

Youcam solo es gratis si esta pre-instalado, solo se puede conseguir para descarga desde la web Lenovo para Windows 7 kawazaky
Si no tienes Windows 7 para conseguirlo debes ir ala web del fabricante y adquirirlo, un equivalente es el MAnycam es free.
El otro programa recuerdas el nombre? si no se puede conseguir para una descarga desde la web Lenovo se pude conseguir un programa equivalente que no necesite adquirir una licencia.

since the A700 which you bought was without OS and you did install your own W7 64x, i would recommend doing a search for the software you want via http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/us/en/DriversDownloads/drivers.html

IdeaCentre B750 AIO - Lenovo Motion updatet nicht

Hi, bei Systemstart erhalte ich die Meldung, dass ein Update für Lenovo Motion verfügbar ist mit der Bitte das Update durchzuführen. Bei der Auswahl kommt jedoch die Fehlermeldung "the update failed to download". Unter "show details" steht: Der Remoteserver hat einen Fehler zurückgegeben404) nicht gefunden. Die Datei "hhtps://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/pglenoaio/lenovomotion.04.07.00.03530.to.04.07.00.05275.wyu" kann nicht heruntergeladen werden... Wie komme ich sonst an das Update?

Hi, sorry - ich habe nicht realisiert, dass noch Fragen offen sind.
Es wurde Win8.1 installiert und ich lasse auch die Windows Updates immer aktuell einrichten. Lenovo Motion ist die Lenovo eigene Software, mit der die Kamera bestimmte Handbewegungen erkennt und selbst umsetzt (z.B. Ton aus = Zeigefinger vom Mund halten, Fenster verschieben = Hand auf / Faust / bewegen).
Es wäre schön, wenn sich hier etwas tut. Die Fehlermeldung ist klar: Das Update der Software wird automatisch aufgerufen aber die Datrei dazu ist nicht online verfügbar...

Lenovo T400 screen goes dark issue, some video driver problem

Lenovo:
Motherboard:
CPU Type: Mobile DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo P8600, 2400 MHz (9 x 267)

3D Accelerator: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470
Problem/Issue:
Driver problem appeard after upgrading from XP to Windows 7.
From the Device Manager I saw that ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 was not working properly and
a) I did the "update driver software." After restart the screen light was darker than usual. (This was usual if I was working from battery but I was plugged in this time. )
As I'm not the best with computers I thought my drivers might be in conflict and to prevent serious damages, I just
b) disabled ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 from device manager.
This actually resolved the dark screen problem.
c) then I went to Lenovo support site: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/research/hints-or-tips/detail.page?&LegacyDocID=MIGR-72858
downloaded newest drivers for ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 (Switchable Graphics Driver)
and Intel 4500MHD (Intel GM45 Express Chip)
For some reason while installine the: Intel GM45 Display Driver (version 8.15.10.2302) gives me error:
"This Computer Does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software"
Also some problem appeard when installing the new downloaded version:
ThinkPad Switchable Graphics Driver (version 8.792.5-110424b-119200C)
d) so I went back to device manager and made an update to ATI Mobility Radeon from there.
Well, I got it working, but the screen went dark again. When I disable the driver it goes back to normal
brightness and when I enable it again, it stays normal.
I'll try to restart and see what happens

We had the excat same issue.
I could get the picuture back pressing the power button until it went to sleep and then wake it up again.
After the I went to device manager to delete all display drivers both Intel and ATI and then reboot.
doing the reboot windows found some drivers it could use.
I then installed the switchable driver from lenovo.
Now windows device manger report two display drivers:
1)
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 Series, Version 8.792.5.2000, Driver manufacturer ATI Technologies Inc
2)
Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family, Version, Version 8.792.5.2000, Driver manufacturer ATI Technologies Inc
So it seams the switchable ATI driver take over the Intel card and the Intel driver is not needed.
At least the problem is solved for us.

Lenovo g550 can't use wifi or video card after clean install of windows 7 from generic iso

My hard disk crashed and I didn't have the restore cd, and windows doesn't see the WIFI or Video card now. I've updated the drivers from support but it still work see them. I haven't tried updating the bios version yet. Is there a step i'm missing?

Welcome to the forum. Please post a picture of device manager. That will give a much better idea of what's missing.
It is always best to install drivers in the following order. Chipset, Audio, Video, Ethernet, Energy Management and then the rest.

Drivers for SL410 video drivers

I have an SL410 series (2842CTO) laptop that I reinstalled Windows 7 (and all updates) on. the video is not displaying properly and I don't know which drivers to installs. I installed the updated "chipset" driver from the Lenovo web site, but I can't tell which if any of the other drivers I need. I also updated the BIOS. Can someone tell me which drivers need installing?

Right now, we are qualifiying drivers for recent notebook models. Shortly after the launch of Windows 8, you'll be able to find drivers for those models as well, on HP.com.

In the meantime, Windows 8 should automatically detect and install an appropriate driver for your Intel video processor. It's hard to say, since I do not know which Intel video processor model you have, or which HP notebook you have. But more often than not, it'll work automatically.

IdeaCentre B320 - Windows 8 64bit drivers for AMD radeon HD 7450 card

I have upgraded my recently bought B320 all-in-one to Windows 8 and now have a problem with video card drivers for HD7450 graphics card. Default Win 8's driver (named something like Windows Radeon HD7400 series ) works just fine, but it have no OpenGL support and therefor I can not run some games like Minecraft. Catalyst drivers available from AMD website can not detect the video card (probably because it have lenovo-specific oem ids?), and on lenovo downloads only 32bit drivers are available for AMD cards.
Was anyone able to get catalyst drivers working on B320 with 64bit Windows 8?
May be there is a compatible lenovo desktop or all-in-one which already have those drivers? And will Lenovo release 64bit video drivers for B320 anytime soon?

Till a better idea comes along:
Don't know if you have tried this but first thing I'd do is go to control panel/system/device manager, find the devices, right click and ask for it to update the drivers. If there are new ones around they should be found.
The only drivers Lenovo offers for the b320 are 32 for some reason and they may not be the best. I had a dead card reader, downloaded their drivers, and it did no good, asked the machine to update the driver, it did and it worked. I don't know where it found the driver but it was not lenovos download page.
Hopefully they will get some updated stuff soon. The tv software is poor at best.

Lenovo H520- screen blacks out while in use

the PC had been working fine until about a month ago- while actively working online, the PC appears to go into a momentary (lasting a few seconds) power save mode by blacking out the screen and a logo appears. The PC will then pull itself out of the black screen and the website that the PC was on just prior to this blackout will reappear.
This is very annoying. We have not adjusted any settings and have updated all the recent software updates, thinking this might be the problem yet the issue continues. We have been using this PC for about a year and are running windows 8.0.

I’m sorry to hear about the issue, as the computer boots to windows. I suggest you to re-install the Chipset and Video Drivers in the computer, while installing the driver right click on the downloaded file and select “Run as administrator” option to get it installed without any error. 16:9 Help needed. Workflow: extracted video from DVD, FCE HD edit & DVDSP.

Hi,
I have a project where according to the camera person it was shot in 16:9 with the camera (assuming a DV camcorder of some sort). It was captured from the camera and converted to a DVD (VIDEO_TS folder and everything) and sent to me for editing.
What I need help with is a workflow (and settings) to edit and output this properly.
1) My first hiccup comes in the extract. When I view the DVD that was sent to me, the video looks squished as it squeezes the video into the 4:3 aspect ratio. I was using MPEG Streamclip to extract it. I've extracted it in a 16:9 QT format and it looks fine in FCE HD. However, once I started reading more about editing 16:9 video in the FCE PDF manual, I'm wondering if I should have kept it as 4:3 and then toggled the Anamorphic setting for the sequence.
2) Once I have the correct source to edit - are there any considerations on export for compression? I read somewhere about a program to set the anamorpgic bit for iDVD, but plan to use DVDSP so I'm assuming I can skip this step. I also read in the forum about a QT Conversion setting to use. Do I need to? I was planning to export a reference movie and use Compressor with that. I was planning to use a "Widescreen" compressor option. Is this correct?
3) I know this is beyond this forum, but any advice on what settings should I use in producing the DVD? As noted above I plan to use DVDSP 3 to create the DVD, and I do notice the 16:9 settings in there for each track. I was planning to use the 16:9 Letterbox track setting. Is this correct?
Any other pitfalls I should be aware of as I navigate the 16:9 jungle?

First, with regard to your chipset - graphics/video card:
Mobile Intel® GM45 Express Chipset, featuring the Mobile Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 450...
Your graphics card has no video RAM (VRAM) of its own. So, it must use some of your system RAM to be able to function. This is 'dynamically allocated'. That is, your system decides how much system RAM to allocate to the graphics card. I am not aware of anyway to manually control this.
Next, you said you have installed Windows XP. Toshiba India has not posted any XP drivers for your system. Toshiba laptops are very finicky about using Toshiba 'tweaked' hardware drivers to be able to function properly. This computer is a Toshiba European version of your model, and it would appear to have a full set of XP drivers, these will work just fine in your system:

The order you load the hardware drivers and Toshiba utilities is critical. The files available for download above are all zip files, so you will have to extract the .exe files to be able to install them. Install the drivers first, then the Toshiba utilities, and given that you already have XP basically working install in this order:
1st Drivers:
1) Chipset
2) Storage Manager
3) Display
4) Sound
5) then all other XP hardware drivers
2nd Utilities:
1) Common modules
2) Hotkey utility
3) all other XP Toshiba utilities.

Mac mini mid 2011 video blinking out too

As the 2012 mac mini, my mac mini mid 2011 with the 3000 graphics chipset, has video blinking out every hour for about a second, since I upgraded from an ancient cinema display (1600x1040) to a DELL U2713HM 2560x1440 pixels. The old display blinked very rarely too, which I thought to be dips in the grid. The new display blacks out every hour for 1-2 seconds. And when the machine is heavily loaded (xcode indexing 500 files): about every minute.
It is becoming really acute since I updated to OS X 10.8.5 (12F37), and even WORSE and UNWORKABLE: when the video now blinks the monitor enters power save mode, and I need to switch off and on the monitor to wake up video...

I connected the display via a mini-displayport to displayport cable (the DELL has a displayport port too), but I don't think that is relevant. I don't have that ridiculously overpriced dual-link DVI converter.
Filed a bug at Apple, submitted some system reports when the prob occurred. I hope they will release a firmware fix, or I'll take the mini back to the shop.
