Choose the appropriate and cheapest license for Apex
Dear Experts,
If a customer likes Oracle Apex and want his system to be built with this technology on his private server but he has problems in expensive license of Oracle Database compared with MS SQL Server.
If the customer has:
- Planned No. of users: 25 user - max of 10 concurrent users.
- Server Processor: Intel Xeon(R) CPU X3440 @ 2.53GHz 2.53GHz - 64bit
- Server RAM: 4GB (I think it is too low for his number of users)
I have the following questions:
1) What is the cheapest and appropriate Oracle Database License to buy for this customer to build Oracle Apex system for his users?
2) What are the cheapest and recommended upgrades in the server processor and RAM in order to provide a good performance for the system with that number of users?

I am switching from fine art 4x5, B&W photography in the old fashioned chemical darkroom to pure digital. I want to get the best professional Adobe program for this purpose at the best cost. Not interested in any fancy manipulation beyond what I could do in the old chemical darkroom, simply want to produce the best "straight" black and white images in sizes up to 20x24. I have a Plustek Opticfilm 7600I Ai 35mm scanner that came bundled with SilverFast Ai. The biggest advantage is Multi-exposure function which takes two or more scans at different exposure levels and combines them to increase Dmax range. Dmax is where virtually ALL scanners fall short, except expensive ($5,000+) drum scanners. By extending Dmax with Multi-exposure the shadow areas (slide film) of the image have reduced noise and blocking. I couldn't even begin to scan Kodachrome slides without it! B&W negatives have lower contrast range, but Multi-exposure will surely improve the highlight detail (i.e. Negative images). There are also a number of different dust spot removal functions, including ICE. You need to check if ICE is actually supported on the target scanner and I believe it is not as effective with B&W negatives due to silver halide grain type. You' have to sort out the benefits of SilverFast that are applicable to B&W negatives versus the scanner manufacturer's software. IMHO the scanner bundles that include Silverfast (Epson 750-M) are the best bang for your buck. Some people swear by Vuescan:

Opinions on which is best vary more than the weather! IMHO for 35mm color film work SIlverfast Ai pulls the best capability out of my scanner. Here's a 3600dpi scan (4,833 x 3,240) of a 35mm Fujichrome Provia 100 slide showing a 100% crop (557 x 386). I use IT8 Ektachrome and Kodachrome calibration slides with SilverFast to create custom film profiles. It doesn't get any better than this, at least with 35mm film (double-click on the picture to see 1:1).

For CO-PA since it is a generated DataSource, except for the common characteristics ( E.g. Company Code, Controlling Area ) where you get standard InfoObjects for all other Characteristics and Key Figures you end up creating custom or Z characteristics and key figures. This is unavoidable.

Note that the underlying logs are purged on a regular basis, so for the long term you need to copy the data to your own tables, as Martin handily suggests here. -
Every time I TRY to start firefox 18-19 I get an error message : "Firefox has stopped working" - "close the program and check online for a solution" - or - "close the program" this happens TWICE every time I try to start firefox. Eventually after a random number of tries firefox will start normaly. If you upgraded to Snow Leopard, then it would seem that Suitcase 11 is not compatible with Snow Leopard and you'd need to buy Suitcase Fusion 3 for $99.95.

I just got my new i phone 5 s and did all the syncing and backing up for my old iphone 4s and set my 5 up and synced it on itunes. It synced evrything but the contacts and other minor things. those were the only things that really transfered. My apps and all my music did not. Tthe thing is when i just went to go manually start dowmloading a few of the songs that i knew i already bought , itunes is making me pay forthem again. Its not saying instal like it usuall does when you go download something aleady purchased on your itunes account. I think or thought it might have something to do with the fact that i just changed my apple id name right before i got my new phine but my apps all re-downloaded (manually-no syncing) without making me pay for them again. i dont want to have to purchase allllll my songs again. Can someone please help me!! Itried going back to my old id or signing out of this id and signing in as my old apple id but now it wot even get on that oneits likjeit doesnt exist anymore.. And when i plug my old phone it shows in the itunes everything thats supposed to be there but all that doesnt stay in the itunes when i actually un plug it so when i plug my 5 in to my computer none of the stuff is in the store for me to actually transfer it I am so good with technology and this has me stumped please help
No it's not stealing. They have an allowance that you can share with so many computers/devices. You'll have to authorize her computer to play/use anything bought on your acct. You can do this under the Store menu at top when iTunes is open on her computer.
As far as getting it all on her computer....I think but I am not sure (because I don't use the feature) but I think if you turn on Home Sharing in iTunes it may copy the music to her computer. I don't know maybe it just streams it. If nothing else you can sign into your acct on her computer and download it all to her computer from the cloud. Not sure exactly how to go about that, I haven't had to do that yet. I wonder if once you authorize her computer and then set it up for automatic downloads (under Edit>Preferences>Store) if everything would download. Sorry I'm not much help on that. -

Can I use two Time Capsules? one as an extension of my laptop (for music and video storage) and the other one to back up everything from the laptop and Time Capsule (for music and videos)
Not via Time Machine. It cannot back up from a network location.
The 3rd-party apps CarbonCopyCloner and ChronoSync may be workable alternatives.
EDIT: And, if you're going to do that, you could back up from the Time Capsule to a USB drive connected to the TC's USB port. Second TC not required.

I 'think' my Ipod Touch is in recovery mode and people say to hold the power and home button for 10 sec and i did, but its still not turning back on. Plus its dead and wont charge. PLZ HELP ME!!!!
- If in recovery mode the screen will have an iTunes logo with an USB plug.
- Have you tried connecting it to your computer for a n hw and then see if it appears in iTunes. If it does restore the iPod.
- If screen is blank, try placing he iPod in recovery mode and then restoring. For recovery mode:

How do I drag an image or text box to the "workspace" off of my working file but where I can still see the image and text box for future use?
When I drag the item off of the trifold that I am creating, it just disappears but I still want to use it. I just need to move it out of the way to modify other portions of the document.
